BEST APP EVER
This app has changed my life. It makes navigating Ravelry so much easier. Couldn’t love it more!
Changed the pattern screen!
Update App and do not tell you that the app will need to be logged into again! Used to be a good app - in the last update the pattern screen changed and now the pattern photos are far too small with no setting to fix. Patterns disappear from the files on my phone - all my notes and where I am gone - looks great but buyer beware!!
Handy
It is so handy to have photos of my projects past and patterns saved in this app. I sometimes find the search function a little clunky and that’s not really just Ravit. It’s also Ravelry. Still all in all I would recommend this app and I do use it frequently.
Please fix log in bug!!!
This app no longer leaves me signed in to Ravelry. I have to log in every time I open it. It did not used to do this please fix it!!!!
Good but frustrating
This app is a much more user-friendly experience for using ravelry. However, the number of times I have to re-login into ravelry is very frustrating.

Constant connection cues
This app was great. I am already logged in but it can’t load a single thing without cueing me to login again. Now it is unusable.
Love the App want other payment option and to import patterns bought outside the app.
I love this app. I just wish we didn’t have to use PayPal and we can import patterns we have bought outside of the app. Also I wish we had the capability to sort projects of the patterns by size. I also wish the app would give you suggestions from your stash like the website does. Overall I love this app it provides sooo many patterns a platform to find their future!
Used to work great
loved Ravit for a long time. Great user friendly way to navigate ravelry. My only wish was that the yarn suggestions section of ravelry was available when viewing designs/project planning. Since the most recent update, unfortunately Ravit seems to have a lot of bugs and either needs to be reconnected to my ravelry account or will not work at all and needs to be uninstalled and reinstalled about 35% of the time. Unfortunate, hope they can work out the bugs.
New version is not great
I love pretty much everything about this app and have used it daily for years. However, the recent update has made it clunky. I have my font set to bold on my phone, which looks normal everywhere else on my phone but in this app it makes the letters HUGE. Like so big only a few patterns show at a time. And if I select attributes not to include, I get a “there was a problem connecting to ravelry” error until I turn off that filter. Then I have to sift through a bunch of stuff I don’t want to see. I’ll still use it a lot but I hope these bugs can get worked out soon.
Great App
I really like the access that this app enables.
Bundle creation and management probs
When I create a new bundle it doesn’t appear. I have to close the bundle window and then reopen it by re-hearting to save the pattern. It’s very annoying and takes many extra tops to save a pattern. As a result I created two identical categories and wanted to delete one of them. There is no delete. Standard software development is create, read, update, and delete. I can’t edit the name of a bundle if I want to change it, nor can I delete it. Otherwise I love this application. PS also the bundles don’t appear in alpha order In the bundle window. They appear in the order that I added them not in the alphabetical order that they should be in
Missing advanced filters
I really wish the app included advanced filters where I could search within a pattern for a specific yarn by name. It’s available on the ravelry site so I know it’s possible, just not brought into Ravit yet.
New Version Issues
1. As of today, no new yarn can be added to your stash, it throws a "try again later" error message. This makes the app useless for me. 2. Previously no photos could be added when creating a new record, the record has to be saved, found and edited to add photos. 3. Yarn weight cannot be edited on yarn linked to Ravelry, even if Ravelry is wrong, and regardless, the weight field disappears from the listing. This field in particular has always been an issue for Ravit, it needs to be editable and ALWAYS visible.
Favoriting patterns and adding projects not working
I’ve been loving this app but recently i can’t favorite patterns or add a new project. It just throws error code 404.
Invaluable as a knitter
My first app I always download when I restore my phone. The best way to search ravelry !!
Mon-functional
I used to use this app a lot. However, it no longer connects to Ravelry. I get an error message that there are difficulties connecting and my user name and password just disappear. I can still access my account by going in through my browser directly to Traveler, just can no longer use this convenient app.
Fix logging in
Please Fix the amount of times I have to login 😭. I love this app but I find it annoying having to login every so often.
My Most Used App
This app is a perfect Ravelry companion and makes the website very mobile friendly. I use Ravelry more often, in turn feeling more inspired and productive thanks to this app! Update: Ravit has since had a major update and now the app is so buggy. The screen is constantly going blank, not loading, crashing, needing to re-login. The search functions are no longer as easy to use. I have waited a month or so for things to be worked out but sick of the bugs at this point. The app was a lot better before this update.
Won’t let me save patterns anymore
The app worked the first several years I used it but now it won’t let me save patterns anymore, giving me an error message saying it’s “unacceptable” It would be really nice if you guys fixed this. With the holidays coming it would be great to be able to save patterns I plan on using again.
Love this app
I get so much inspiration from this app. It is my go-to resource for tracking patterns I like, documenting my yarn stash, and tracking my projects. If you knit or crochet it is a must have!
Cannot connect to ravelry
Every time I just input a search value it gives me an error Dayi g “cannot reach ravelry”. This app is basically useless now.
New update isn’t great
I’ve been using the Ravit app for a few years now and whatever update they made makes it impossible to put in fractions of grams when entering totals for yarn used on a project. They seem to prioritize using ounces over grams but this is extremely difficult for me as most of my hand dyed yarn is weighed in grams and then I end up having to convert all my totals. Please fix this issue so I can go back to adding in fractions of grams.
Old but ok
It works great and is much better than kntd:discover but it looks so old, even before the iOS 26 update
Lots of Errors Recently
I’ve loved the Ravit app for a long time now, but recently it’s become increasingly buggy. 404 Errors when trying to favorite or save a pattern, filters not filtering. I hope these issues won’t last much longer.
Great app, one suggestion
I like that there are no ads or other distractions on this app, and that it’s a 1x purchase. I deleted instagram and opted to share projects and see those of others’ on Ravelry and this allows easier access. Having used knit:discover too, the one thing I prefer on that app is that you can pull down on the screen to get out of a project or pattern page, instead of hitting the back arrow in the top left corner. I find myself using that motion in Ravit and wishing it worked.

Love the app, but glitches since update
I absolutely love this app! Also love the latest update. Except the “buy now” button doesn’t always work anymore on patterns. Try to click “buy now” and it doesn’t do anything if there’s a link to a free pattern website under it.
Once worked now it doesn’t 404 error
This app when I first bought it two years ago was flawless. The last year I’ve waited and waited for a fix and there still isn’t one leaving this literally unusable except searching patterns and checking previous notes, or pulling up downloaded patterns in my library. can’t add projects to my queue, cant favorite them, can’t add new projects. Get a warning “oops something went wrong response status code 500” or “status code 404”. The only help you can get is through forums which because this is a third party is impossible o find and I gave up. Don’t waste your time with this app just add ravelry to your shortcuts.
Hard to navigate, but better than the website
Ravelry is an amazing fountain of knowledge. But boy do you have to try HARD to find what you need and get around. This app version is certainly better than the web experience. But the app is still clunky and navigation is a maze.

Other apps have subscriptions to unlock all features and remove ads. On this app once you purchase the app there are no ads. All features are available and INTEGRATED SEEMLESSLY WITH RAVELRY.COM. Can’t recommend this enough over the other “free” versions.
New upgrade is bad
The new upgrade is just bad. Been using Ravit for 6 years and now I’m not able to edit photos in the app to upload, not all my favorites bundles are loading for me to save to… and they have to reload every time I try to save something??Very bad user experience now. I wish I never did the update and could go back to the old version. :’(
Nice
I’ve used this app for years now and I really do enjoy it! The only thing missing is for me is not being able to delete messages. I can’t navigate the Ravelry website to do it, so it’d be cool to be able to do it in the app. Otherwise, awesome app!
Works ok but missing features
This is good in general but for $5 I expect to have all functions of Ravelry. For example, on stash entries you can’t see if the yarn has any patterns linked to it in your queue. Also you can’t add fiber stash. I found these two deficiencies within 5 minutes of first opening the app. From reading other reviews I can see there are other features missing as well. $5 is a lot of money for an app, so I expect it to be fully functional. While the Ravelry mobile version isn’t perfect, it is free and has all the features of Ravelry on a desktop.
Errors all the time
I really enjoyed this app and was using it a lot! But last weeks it doesn’t allow me to do anything! It just crashes and shows different error messages :( iPhone 12 pro

Hi! Love the app, but please include a feature to add stash yarn to queued projects. Also, for popular colorways, please include a way to see the projects, not just the stashes. Thanks!

Almost perfect
I love this app, I use it religiously but I’m BEGGING you to add a section for clarity rating. It’s so important to my process of choosing a pattern so if I’m considering doing a pattern, I have to go to a browser to look that info up. It should be included in the app.
Can't write posts or reply in forums.
I can no longer reply to specific posts or to a thread in any forum with iPadOS 16 so I find the app a lot less useful than it was on 15.
Cool stuff…when it connects
Love the browsing! Love how it makes ravelry so much more accessible on mobile but omg over and over is will have issues where it no longer seems to connect to …anything! Only my locally cached projects are available. No browsing. No updating. Nothing. Only “something went wrong”. Super frustrating.

Ravelry on the go. You can kill a few spare minutes or get lost for hours. WARNING: You will probably end up buying more yarn.
Too political and judgemental
Unfortunately, I paid for the app subscription before I realized that it links to a politically biased group that rejects half of our country. No thank you.
Love it but…
I love this app. There isn’t much I would change. But I’m wondering if developers would consider adding a filtering option to user libraries. I’d love to be able to filter my own library by pattern type, for example: socks, hats, sweater, etc. That would be fantastic!
Can’t see or add friends?
App seems to let me use most features of ravelry but I can’t look up friends and see their projects.
Good idea failed
I couldn’t wait to buy the app only to find I can’t access my library! I still can’t believe I can’t I paid and it’s not there! Everything else great but not worth the money
Ditch kntd - this is worth every penny
I’ve been using kntd for years, not knowing that there was a better app for Ravelry. I did a quick app search and this appeared - it is worth every penny. I HATE subscription models so the fact that this is a one time purchase and goes towards supporting a platform I love so much is beyond worth it. The app is beautiful, well organized, and much easier to use than kntd. I can’t recommend it enough!
What is more useless than Ravit, nothing
I can’t believe I paid for this. So disorganized. Ravelry is so much better on its own. Ravit adds nothing to the experience. Searches are cumbersome. Although filters are extensive they don’t seem do do much. I would like to give it zero stars. I had to give it one star in order to review. Save your money stick with Ravelry,

Absolutely love this app! It’s super easy to grab one of your patterns on the go, see your stash, and even view forums! Lately, though, my forums have disappeared, so may be just a bug for now. Otherwise, it’s just fantastic!!!
Difficult for senior
So I save patterns on my iPad and choose ravit as the place to save them. Then I cannot locate them anywhere. I have authorized the app with revelry but made no difference. I know the pattern is there somewhere because if I save again, I am told that the pattern already exists! So where is it??????
Good - could be better
I hate using Ravelry on Safari do this is one of several apps I’m testing as an alternative. The pros are that it is a very clean design and perfect for mobile viewing. Most Ravelry features are there, it’s fairly intuitive. The cons however: the Stash function is terrible. I catalogue all of my yarn in Ravelry and as I mostly do amigurumi I tend to use mostly one brand of yarn but have dozens of different colours of that yarn. Unless you click on to the yarn you can’t see what colorway it is, how much you have left etc. you can’t see what projects it’s been used on. I really want to love this app but tbh there are free apps that offer more features that I regularly use.
