This app does exactly what it advertised to do, it does it well, and it’s free!
False advertisement
There is no widget. This is the reason why I paid your subscription. Canceled and I demand a refund.
Great App, Widgets Broken
Love the app, worth the money I paid. However Widgets stopped working, and removing and reinstalling doesn’t fix the issue.

Basic rounded conversions unless you dive deep.
Simple, looks great but watch limited
I bought this (there is monthly or annual subscription), for Colombia. Because of the exchange rate, the maximum on the Apple Watch is $2.41, so useless. iPhone seems good though.
Quick, intuitive
Most conversion apps require you to tap keys on the iPhone or even worse enter them on the Apple Watch… but this app allows you to quickly estimate the cost of something in a foreign currency using swipes or simple taps. iPhone/iPad/Mac (Apple silicon) widgets are awesome!
Constantly add things behind a paywall
Takes access to currencies away as the put more things behind a paywall. Not worth it
Good, but not great!
It’s need a custom favorite top 5 or 10 currency list, so traveler like me can find and switch different currency easier and faster when we travel more than 1 country. I do like the currency format.
Cannot see both currencies on watch face
Not quite useful if I have to guess the top currency.
Could be better
On my iPhone and Apple Watch, it only goes to 1,000 units. Limited use when you go to Vietnam, Indonesia or Japan among many countries

Useless in a place like Colombia where the exchange rate is 4,000 1. The most you can see is what $5 USD is.

Love this app, but it crashes on the latest iOS version.

I don’t like how they simplify the conversions 1,400,000 = 14,000K Just write 1,400,000
Cool App
App is very simple, but in IDR to USD it shows 1,000k-9,000k IDR instead of 1,000m-9,000m. Example: App shows 1,000k IDR = 63.91 USD when the conversion should be about 0.06 USD.

Ever
Poorly designed and poorly supported
Do not believe all the “rave” reviews and after my experience with the app and the support (none existing), I question the legitimacy of the so called “awards.” The UI was poorly designed, the UX was also lacking. Features are almost none other than pick your currency and go with it. The 14 days free trial was just a click-bait to get you into paying them now but charge later scam. Some reviewers mentioned this might even be a subscription based service!!!!! What’s more frustrating, was the support which is none. I sent them an email requesting clarification on the purchase (I don’t want subscribe to a currency converter), there was zero responses. I’m concerned they may even forwarded my email address to spammers. All in all, poor product, poor support, and questionable recognitions.
Easy to use
Swift and easy to use for rough figures. Often I don’t care the exact conversion so swags at values of 10s is fine. Though some way to input a specific amount would be nice.
Freebie was great, high price though
This is a great looking app and easy to use if you’re a traveller but I think it’s price for full functionality is a tad high. If it were half price it’d be well worth it. I think under £2 is more reasonable - although I’m sure the developers will disagree :) There are a couple of good free ones to use in the meantime with good reviews.
Apple Watch app is good

7 years of amazing
I’ve used this app for over seven years to convert money as I’ve traveled the world. I’ve yet had to find a better way to convert my money.
Can’t change currency, so can’t trial
The app is useless as I’m locked to Euros/USD. How can I trial the app if changing currency is locked for paying users only?

So what the effin’ point anyway. At least make it 30% is locked and 70% is paid to unlocked it. But absolutely NOT nearly 99% of all currencies are all locked — except a few stupid ones is free. What a pig!!!
The last app update
I noticed after the last app update the conversation rate does not change with each day for the location. I seen the rate change 3 times at the bank but Elk stayed the same for 3 or more days. I noticed it update today, so hopefully it will continue the way it was before the last update. I use your app each day several times, and it is usually right on.
A couple of issues
Very cool app and the concept is easy. so why two stars? Because it lacks figures under 10 pesos and from 1 million to 10 million it lists it as K’s. So one million is not 1M, but 1,000K. 2 million is 2,000K and so on. Until you get to 10 million which finally shows as 10M. I personally would drop the K. For example, instead of 100k I would list it as 100,000. it goes up to 99,000, it’s not too much to just add one more digit, up to a million then use the M for the millions. I have shown the app to several people and they all got confused. out of 11 people 4 eventually figured it out, but took then a few minutes, and the test I had to explain it to then and they hated it. Even though I figured it out, I won’t don’t use the app often because of these issues. Due to my job I deal a lot with large figures, in the hundred of thousands and millions of pesos, so this is a deal breaker for me and I have to use the EX app but most often a good old calculator. Recently with my Apple Watch I ask SIRI to convert x amount of Mexican pesos to US dollars and she does it.

Could use a refresh /update, however it works well on the phone and watch. Btw…. What gives with the Elk? It’s always so hard to remember the name and find the app when needed. Still 5 stars!

Any currency aside from euro is consider paid version. I immediately deleted the app after teying it for 30 seconds
Almost perfect
App does what it says it does effectively and the widget and watch apps are quite great. The only additional thing I would like to be able to do with the app is show more than just 2 currencies at once, especially within the widget. Thanks!

Privacy and Design Win
This developer doesn’t seem to take and share all your info. Most of the “bigger” conversion apps are skimming, tracking and monetizing everything.
Crashes immediately, used to be my favorite currency app
What gives?? Now it doesn’t open all of the sudden, but instead crashes immediately. Widget doesn’t work either. PLEASE FIX

Please make a widget that shows 10 conversions units that you can choose from for iPhone . It could be 2 columns or 4 columns to save vertical space . Easy to pick which 2 currencies to select for the widgets Thanks
Nice design yet confusing units
Great app when it comes to quick checking. However, what is the reasoning behind using 1000K instead of 1M? To me it looks awful!

Awesome app one huge problem
Why can’t you just select which two currencies you want and just type a value to convert. Tables are pretty worthless if I need to know an exact amount. Other things that should be included is a chart of what is going on and maybe news tied into it as well . What a waste of 4.00
Pretty great! Just one annoyance...
This app is great and well worth getting! The only annoyance with the Watch app is that it resets whatever value you’ve entered when it updates the current exchange rate. This means you often open the app, start selecting a value, then half way through doing it the value gets reset and you have to start over again. If they can fix this it’d be perfect.
