Hello? Where are the updates to this perfect app!? I loved the simplicity of this and used to bring it with me to every travel trip abroad. The simplicity is what sold me, twas’ amazing. But now the developers have abandoned this app??!? Or where are they??!
Widget is a must!
It’s ok not to include iPad version but WIDGET! It’s 2024 already. I hope soon.

Simple app. Works fine but needs a smaller widget. Edit - on their app suggestion website a number of others have also asked for the smaller widget but no response yet. After several months I deleted this app and got one with the smaller widget instead.

Leider schlechter geworden
Früher was das Teil unschlagbar Jetzt wird immer nur eine Grundwährung verwendet. Ziemlich nervig weil damit der einzige Mehrwert verloren geht. Umrechnung in einer Hauptwährung dafür kann man am iPhone Siri verwenden und zb einfach in der Siri suche den gewünschten Betrag in der Fremdwährung eingeben

Difficult to Navigate
This app is limiting and not easy nor intuitive to easy switch through different currencies.

Does exactly what it's supposed to do, no fluff no filler. My only gripe is the widget could be smaller, other than that this app is perfect for what it does

i loved the old version. simple and easy to understand. after the new update, there are so many complications. After awhile, it can get pretty frustrating.

Good and simple converter BUT
This app was the way-to-go in currency converter. Shared it with friends and family, colleagues and people that needed a fast currency conversion. Last update changed a lot of things. Only one thing was good: See the rate of your local currency faster. The bad? • Trying to get conversions between currencies that are not your local needs a lot of steps (before was 2 taps) • Paywalls for everything that before was free: -Cannot have more than 5 favourite currencies unless paid (before $2,99; any currency) -Cannot add another “local” currency unless paid (Not an option before, not needed) Unfortunate to lose another excellent app to the usual “subscription” plan that a lot of awful apps use. One-time payment also is extremelly expensive. I understand you need to obtain profits, but even if $5 a year sounds cheap, you get almost nothing for that “pro” badge. Thanks for the last 6 years using this app.

The new UX design is awful
I used to really like your app and thought it was the best currency conversion app on the mobile platform until you changed the UX design. Previously, it was quick to specify and switch between main currencies, and to rearrange the order of currencies. Now, it requires additional steps, which is very inconvenient for those who need to frequently compare prices. Additionally, it used to be possible to quickly add and search for currencies by simply pulling down, but now it requires switching to a new tab, which is unnecessary and inconvenient. I hope you can revert to the original layout or provide us with an option to choose ourselves.
Generic new look ruined one of my favourite apps
Update: The developer replied and they will offer the previous look and feel as an option. Glad to hear this. I’ve upgraded my score to 4 stars and will make it 5 when the feature is actually released. I’ll be subbing for a month to see how it goes. Thanks for the response! This used to be one of my favourite looking apps. Now it has abandoned it’s original and minimal design for a generic one that makes it look just like every other currency app out there. They tore everything down, the pleasant colour scheme, the beautiful font and the unique UI. I would like to have the old look at least as an option. Would happily subscribe just for that. For now, I’ll be moving on to another app.
Preferred the way the old app looked
I preferred the old app better. I can’t swipe to delete anymore and the older app encompassed the entire screen, it was visually more appealing. Any way you can add the option to revert back?

Isn’t horrible
Tested dozens of currency converters and this one isn’t subscription garbage. It’s actually quite good. Tasty design too.

Was great, what happened
This used to stand out as a well-designed minimal app that was different to the rest. Paid for it. Now they seem to want an annual sub, the design became like all the rest. Bleurgh.

Effective app, better now but one bug that bothers me is the font colour fades out to illegibility when you switch to another app and then come back later.

Awful Update
This app used to be the best currency app of all time. I used to use this app religiously and shared with all my friends. This new UI is absolutely terrible. Please revert the app to its original form. Disappointed.
Simplistic and Useful
Living abroad, I've tried all the converters. I appreciate most having a comma in the amounts as it makes it easier to quickly see I've entered enough zeroes when working with currencies in the millions (like in Vietnam!). I'd love to see a calculator function added, but I'm happy enough with the app as is.
Not worth the disk space
This app hasn’t any added value in comparison to the other calculators it’s super primitive but needs lot of memory - what for ? Ui ist also not intuitive.. I removed it.
Pretty interface, lacking mathematical functions
Pretty iOS 7 interface. Calculator is lacking mathematical function such addition, subtraction..etc, which is useful if needed to calculate multiple purchases at once.
Helpful shopper’s tool
Found this app on a recent trip to Kenya. It was quick, easy, & instantly gave me the amount in US dollars. Made a big difference in getting a sense of the value of what i was buying. Very helpful & easy to use.
Update ruined this
Use this for travel all the time. This app was better before the update. With the update the majority of the app is now locked behind a paywall and the simple aesthetics have been changed. Just use a google search instead. Another one bites the dust.

Handles decimals incorrectly
When I type €6.50, I get $7. Where’s the decimal? If I out €65, then I get $71. Plus, the UI is announcing counter-intuitive. Try to change currencies
Simple but chart needs more detail
This app is really simplistic but it takes time to get used to how to function it as some interactions aren't as common. I'm hoping the statistical chart could offer more detail into how the exchange rates have spiked over other amounts of time and also hoping to see the actual exchange rate number.

Bait and switch, old version was better
Paid for a lifetime unlock on the old version to unlock multiple currencies. This new version of the app has just come out with a monthly fee for the feature I already paid for. Classic bait and switch scam tactic, I’ll be going back to Siri for my currency needs.
Smooth
This is a beautifully simple currency app. Although there is no detailed guide for how to use it, some poking around soon let's you figure it out. A short animation or video would be great, although I realise that would bump the app size up some. One thing I would change is to have the graphs feature(which didn't work for me - it just loads an empty screen) on the empty button on the left of the keypad, and add the delete button in its usual spot. The swipe to delete feature is nice, and I'll most likely use it sometimes, it's a lot quicker to just hit delete if you make a mistake than to reach up and swipe.
Rates not updating. Beautifully designed app though.
This was the best looking, simple, forex rates app with Today widget out there. Trust me I’ve downloaded them all! This simply looks beautiful. But it seems like the rates have stopped updating. I’ve had the NZD/VND stuck at the same rate for a week now. First I thought it was just a data feed issue, but it hasn’t fixed itself, and I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app. I got a new rate, but one that doesn’t move from day to day. This is true for both my iPhone and iPad.
Great visuals, poor usability
I have a thing for great looking apps, and it fills a functional void. It has great aesthetics, but that seemed to take too much focus, and almost took it too far in simplifying. I'm not a fan with how the currency selection works. It should allow me to choose two currencies independent of one another. The current method is extremely frustrating. I'd also like to see a clear button. I like the swipe to clear, as it's rather unique, but I would like the speed of a single tap to clear my values. Hopefully this is constructive enough feedback!

Beautiful but not quite functional
No gesture guide. No ability to convert precise currencies - only whole numbers. For example, you can't convert 33.50 GBP to USD - it'll have to be 33 or 34.
Only works for USA
For some reason I can't set it to Aussie dollar and very currencies like rupiah not very good app
charts don't work
confusing UI but you can figure it out eventually. charts don't seem to work though, either blank or just a line at 1 (looks like it charts a currency against itself)
