What people like
- Great local news for Fort Wayne area
- Reliable weather and traffic information provided
- Recent updates show some nice improvements
What they complain about
- Ads pop up constantly and block use
- App locks up when asking for tracking
- News updates are very slow or missing
- Text is too small and hard to read
Question
The ratio at which you report and send push notifications of black men being charged with crimes versus literally any other race gives me questions about who’s running the show
Ad bugs
Unable to use the app because when you close the ad that pops up before using the app it pops up again and again and again until I just give up and close it.
Good so far. Wrong video forecast feed in the app
Pretty good so far. Improvements from the last update are nice to see. One thing to point out - I'm not sure if your team is aware, but the app currently has the wrong Wx video forecast feed. It currently shows videos from WKOW in Madison, WI instead of WPTA in Fort Wayne. It would be nice to see that fixed soon.
Lisa
Can’t stand the Blackburn and Romey adds. I will be deleting this app because of it. If you can be on the air 10 times a day then you can support this app. Thanks but no thanks.
Colors on the weather map
Please show a graph to shoe the colors on your weather map. My area is colored in purple but I don’t know what that means. There is a scale for precipitation, but not for that . It would be very helpful. Thank you.
Amazing team I can always trust to count on!!!!!
Amazing team I can always trust to count on!!!!!
21 Alive News
You have sort through a maze of adds to finally get to the story and many of the national stories are so leftist that you can’t trust it.
Video
Please update so the video doesn’t auto play with sound.
Notifications
I just disabled my news notifications. I am so tired of getting weather reports on everyday weather occurrences like cold or hot ! Save your alerts for tornadoes, freezing rain and such.
Screen time
When I want to log out, I can’t find a place to log out
Not very good
The app shows you have a notification but you don’t ads pop up all the time ever since update.
Out of date
Don’t often have the most up to date reports on this site. Limited in the stories that are being covered
News
The same news is left on the sight for days, wether it local, national, or international, come on more news happens than what you guys report!! If I want sports forget it. Get with it and realize that more people get their news online than on tv or print. It’s time to catch up.
Love
The only station we watch for news!
Forced Ads
Making users force close an ad to open the app is just bad business.
21 WPTA
I liked the old version
Review
Want the weather channel back.
Good news station
Good news station I watch it every morning and at 6
Had to screw with it.
Leave well enough alone.
Can't read the delays/closings
I'm unable to read the delays/closings because it's zoomed in so much. There's no way for me to zoom out or even view in landscape as the orientation won't change either. Needs fixed ASAP!
ABC 21 WPTA
Great app for news, weather, traffic, and etc. for Fort Wayne, Indiana for serving for Northeast Indiana and Northwest Ohio.
Blackburn ad
Aweful would like it removed
Faithful watcher of 21
21 is my only go to station for news and weather. I also watch many TV shows. I like all of the weather and news staff people.
Print to Small
Very difficult to read
Great app
Love this app
Very slow updates
Very slow updates, and virtually nonexistent on weekends, except for a couple of sports updates.
Better before
I liked the app better before the latest update. The weather portion of the previous app was so much more informative than this update. It might be streamlined but a lot of the information is lost. Not real happy.
Does not work
Locks up my phone with a screen wanting me to allow tracking and not go further
Tracking
You must accept app request to allow tracking before access to the app is granted. There is no option to bypass. Deleted app because of this.
