Thx channel 8
Bad
The app is terrible and not user friendly. I want to see the weather updates and it’s almost impossible to do so
Notifications
There NEEDS to be more control over the notifications and alerts. I do not care about some of the topics. It’s 11pm, why is my phone going off over high school sports updates… I need to be alerted about news.
Pretty good but still has bugs
Impossible to scroll through stories without glitches taking you back to top of page. Almost every article has a misspelled word or grammatical error. The writing stinks. Not the app’s fault, but the content writers. There should be a way to disable video autoplay. I want to read an article, not hear a loud commercial before a video starts that I don’t want to watch.
Traffic section doesn’t work
Overall app is good, the weather section is a good tool, but the traffic section had stopped working recently. Please fix. Stop with the pop up advertisements when I look up the radar. I’m almost ready to delete this app.
Miss the Traffic info
I really miss the traffic info that was on the app prior to the most recent update. I used it almost daily. It was so helpful planning my route in Indianapolis. Please consider bringing it back.
Video clips
Please stop the automatic starting of video clips. This app SUCKS
WISH TV
Love the app. My only complaint is when there is breaking news for severe weather or weather alerts you have to watch a commercial or two first. Seconds matter.
World News?
You only hear of news in Indiana you never hear what’s going on in the rest of the country or for the rest of the world ?
Poor Streaming
We have poor streaming using Xfinity on the WishTV APP.
Zip
I’m busy— no comment , thank you.
Tepid update
This recent update to the app has made it unpleasant to use. Live streaming repeatedly cuts out. In low connectivity situations the app gives up and says there’s no internet, making it useless in an emergency.
Review
Can always count on you for braking news. Thanks!
Lack of news
Tired of the only news stories featuring shootings and people hit by cars. Please go find some news. I’ll even read about a pothole somewhere. At least your a little better than another local channel (I finally deleted their app). There’s got to be at least a few other news stories in central IN, but your station has to be willing to search for them.
Locks up too much
Too often when I find a story I just want to read about, it just locks up. I assume it’s going out to a server and wants to play the audio and video, but all I want is just to read the story.
WISH TV NEWS
Since moving to Central Indiana in 2021 we have made WISH TV News our go to station
Annoying Videos!!!
When you click an article to read it and automatically plays the video that you cannot pause! The developer of this application needs a new job.
Would desire easier navigation
Overall the wthr news app works reasonably well. Incorrect spelling in the articles on occasion, and navigation from one news article to another requires returning to the main page unless the next interested article appears in a list of 3 pages in the current article. Cannot swipe through one article to the next.
App is terrible
Top stories list keeps refreshing and kicks you up 5 stories. Happens multiple times before reaching the end of the list. Take the ads out so it stops doing this. Don’t mind 1 or 2 ads but make them load faster and don’t mix in with stories.
Good Job!
Good Job!
Terrible app!
It will be great when this station gets on Hulu
Keeps going to top
I am so frustrated with the way this app jumps back to the top all the time whenI’m scrolling through headlines. It takes me 2X as long to use it as i scroll past the same items again and again. Please fix it!
Timely and supported by facts!
Other station in general fill time (page)!
Notifications are inappropriately used
They send constant notifications for the most mundane items. I had to delete the app.
Video
Every time I click on a story the video would automatically start playing. If I want to watch the videos I would click on them. Please fix this so I don’t have to keep turning my volume down.
My favorite channel
I’ve watched you for years and you are the best station with the most accurate and up to date with your information
Slow
Trying to read a article is painful. They load so slow on Wi-Fi or data. Articles from CNN and AP. Come on write your own stories
WISH TV
I wish that WISH TV was on Dish Network !!!
Ch.8 App
This app is slow to reload and is very slow when you scroll through all the stories. Not a great experience. Nothing ever loads and take down the propaganda from you site. You never tell the right story, you just tell a story the way you want us to believe it. The media has be come corrupted with the rich peoples money and agenda.
Beautiful cast
This station is Indy and they bring the news with realness and accuracy.
Wish tv Indianapolis
The app dose not work properly
I love the early AM team!
As I drink my coffee in the early am (typically 4 or 5 am), I always look forward to WISH TV keeping me company. They are always so chipper while I’m still a member of the walking dead and trying to make myself be a productive member of society. They wake me up to all the current news and help me to plan my day, my week, and my month from the minute I walk out my door. Thank you so much WISH TV for making MY AM NEWS so fun and interesting to watch!
No longer can watch the news because of Google ads
After updating the app I can no longer watch the news because of a Google ad that pops up. It is a phishing scam.
