Well for roads that are owned by the people and taxed by the government on top of tolls vic you disgust me I remember a pm saying that the tolls would be removed once the works was paid off well here we are still just take take take

Upon opening the app today I was told I needed to update it. My phone is apparently not modern enough. Not happy.
Lag in app
With everything digit ties nowadays why is there such a lack of taking a trip and the delay of it being recorded on the app? It doesn’t make sense. Can you please be improved in future versions of the app?

Trustpilot and Product Review show an accurate 1/5 stars - Common complaints include incorrect/duplicate charges, admin/video-matching fees, account suspensions over small balances, poor customer service (chatbots/robots, long waits), app glitches (payment details, auto top-up failures, login issues), and general frustration with the toll system.
Auto payment issue
Keep having issue with the automatic payment 3rd failed payment after setting up the auto payment. A bit tiring for a system witch should work easy.
Latest update killed it.
New screen is too wide and doesn’t resize, so 1/4 of the graphics/text are cropped and cannot read all the info.
More payment options
I would like to see more payment options. Some people pay a lot on tolls in QLD for work, which work doesn’t pay for. Ex, Afterpay, PayPal in 4
Easy contact
Linkt are so easy to contact if you have anything you need assistance with. Every time I’ve had an inquiry I find them courteous on the phone and extremely helpful. They are providing an 80’s approach to customer service…..Something that is lacking in the customer service nightmares we all know we endure from many big businesses. There is hope.
Another scam
Overpriced government sponsored scam. Extreme “administration” fees. Additional hidden fees to reduce money on your account, price rises without advertising. Just a lawful price gouge every step. Disgusting immoral corporate greed. But Transurban share price looks good.

Direct debit setup didn’t work
Have setup direct debit, and it’s showing under payment settings but did not really do the auto top up resulting my account being overdrawn. Useless app
Weekend pass
Very frustrating system. A “weekend pass” should clearly cover all toll roads used over the weekend, yet it doesn’t include EastLink — something many drivers only realise after being charged extra. Having to remove and reattach an eTag depending on the road you’re using is impractical and easy to forget. If you do forget, you’re hit with extra video matching fees and admin charges, which feels unfair when you’ve already paid for a pass. Looking at other customer experiences, it’s obvious this confusion is common. The whole setup feels overly complicated and designed in a way that catches motorists out instead of making travel simpler. I guess just a revenue machine.
Battery Flat
After a period of time the battery dies in your tag and you then are responsible for contacting Linkt & organising a new tag , also in the meantime you need to check your account that you are not charged a fee for not displaying your tag

Went today to use my current reward. Found the current version of the App was not compatible with my phone. Cost me 26 cents per litre. Losing faith in my Linkt app.
Credit Card Fees
Given credit card is the Linkt payment preference, Linkt has a nerve to charge a fee for credit card payments. Unconscionable conduct!
Not particularly useful to have an account set up
Downloaded the app and it recommended that I nominate the vehicles I drive and put money in the account. Linkd said that you can set everything up so that you don’t necessarily have to purchase an electronic tag in my vehicle. I went “tagless” which costs a few dollars extra each trip for them to find my plate on the photograph. The problem with the app and account is that it just does not work properly. If it did work properly, when you travel, the money you placed in your account as prepaid would automatically be deducted. This does not happen so in addition to having money in your prepaid account that you can’t use, you must pay with your credit/debit card which is silly. I’m sure that there are a lot of other drivers out there running “tagless” as a choice because they don’t routinely use Linkd toll roads/bridges. The app needs to be fixed otherwise what is point.

Very hard to find exactly which toll you're paying because they don't list the number of toll and you could be double paying for one you've already paid for. Can't find receipts for tolls either.

Disappointed with the update that now requires you to have iOS 17 or better. I can no longer access the App on either my iPhone or iPad. I am not going to buy new devices just so I can use the App.

Hit and miss
App has tried to charge me $300 twice when owing under $100. AI assistance tells me correct balance as well as customer service. Handy when working correctly though.

Rude impatient operator
This operator spoke so fast. I could not hear what she was saying when I tried to ask her to why don’t she talked over the top of me. She asked me to wait. I waited and when I started to speak, she talked over the top of me again very rude service.
