Calendar issue
Overall the update is nice but I wanted to ask if you could please add the feature to add the event to the calendar back please. It’s much easier that adding it through email confirmation. Thank you

Terrible app. The old app was easier to use. I can not seem to add family members insider numbers as I did previously so they get discounts too. I don’t see what you get charged £2.50 booking fee for I didn’t pay that before?
Better than the last App
Much better than the last in most ways. One thing it doesn’t show is the rewards from food purchases (the old app did). Also when you cancel a movie it still shows in your list. Other than that it’s brilliant.
Not so great
You have to constantly login every time. From within the app, if you need to change the Showtime or date again, you’ve got to login. I find that this is very frustrating and annoying. The app seems quite basic compared to the ODEON app which iPhone quite flawless in comparison. The showcase apps just feels like using a web browser it’s quite slow and feels buggy. Why is there a £2.50 admin fee? It’s all electronic!
FIXED - Pointless without Screening Times or ability to Book?
UPDATE now show times of screenings and let me book Interestingly the Rate the App link Settings still doesn’t work.

Love this place
horrible app
i’m writing this as an ex member of staff, the old app was so easy to navigate and useful to gauge how busy we were going to be throughout the day. it was easy to show customers how to use and functioned smoothly. the app was updated after i left and it is the worst app i have ever interacted with. it looks like it was made by a teenager with access to the internet for the first time and does not function well at all. the coming soon tab shows the wrong dates and is all out of order, and you can’t click into and back out of a film without it scrolling all the way back up to the top. just a horrible experience and you’re better off just using the website.
Upgrade wait?
How long will we have to wait for the app to upgrade. I love going to showcase cinemas but can’t book through the app as it’s upgrading to bigger and better later this year. Hopefully it won’t be to much longer.
RIP off fee
New app is ok on iPhone but £2.50 fee per transaction is too steep. You may as well just buy the ticket at the cinema! 👎🏼

Shockingly bad
The app is hopeless on iPad and little better on iphone. And then there’s the £2.50 booking fee, which puts me off booking tickets in advance. I just tried getting a ticket using the self-service kiosk. You have to log in twice to access the QR code and I only just discovered it can be added to Wallet. Why no face recognition? Why didn’t the ap save the password?

Terrible experience
Whilst browsing showtimes the app requires me to keep logging in. And then after logging in so many times it tells me my details are no longer valid. It has gone from what was a native app experience to a poor web platform.

Best cinema
I go to the Monday afternoon performances which are a brilliant price for members and not too crowded. I love I can get a costa coffee to take in rather than some random one. Plus I can purchase more choice in food than just the usual popcorn, hot dog or nachos .The staff are always helpful and polite . I have just one complaint, for people with disability there are not enough parking spaces and they are not checked. There should be blue badge only signs up . The small car park next to the area should also be disabled as there is a very big parking area for those who can walk. The spaces do not all need to be much wider, many people are disabled who do not use wheelchairs .

Not showing my tickets and history
The app doesn’t show my booked tickets or previous history. Plz fix
App a bit difficult for fine details
Obviously you can buy tickets fine. However, even if you’re logged in to your app, you still have to add your free membership insider number to your ticket (unsure whether you still get the points without it?) You can’t copy & paste it from the qr card in the app, so you have to write down the 14 digit number then type it in, fine if you’re at home or have a pen! But if you haven’t, you’d have to flick from the app to your notes remembering as many digits as you can in 1 go, likely 4-6 a time? So flicking in tween apps 3 times. Also, still haven’t been able to confirm the state of the seats in the cinema screen I’m booked at?! It’s a showcase de lux, but some screens have non recliner seats & unless you get the xlr, the may be standard & uncomfy, as others have reviewed negatively before. Come on Showcase cinemas! All your cinemas & app need to be as good as Odeon!

It didn’t work at all for me
I’ve just tried this app for the first time using an iPad. It didn’t allow me to either select a cinema location or find screening times for the film I was interested in. I deleted the app and easily used Google to check out my local Showcase cinema listings.

The coming soon section is a mess and needs cleaning up and simplifying

New update not working
Was glad to see the app finally working again but very disappointed that I can’t see any show times or purchases tickets on there, so a waste of an update in my opinion.
Admin charges are ridiculous
Love this cinema but feel charging admin to book a film is scandalous.
No showtimes
I can’t be the only one who gets no showtimes at all? Just completely blank. Logging out/in deleting the app do nothing. Very frustrating and disapointing.
