What people like
- Easy to set up your profile
- Friendly staff help you get started
- Good way to find extra work
What they complain about
- Businesses cancel last minute with no pay
- Too many applicants for each shift
- App crashes and bugs keep appearing
- Support always sides with the business
You’re the best guys, but…
Please, PLEASE, add an option to hide places that I do not want to know more about. Working at those places was horrible; I do not want to receive any more notifications. Give me the option to decide which offers I want to see and which I do not. PLEASEEEE
Don’t bother downloading it.
Despite trying to sign up multiple times, I was never able to get an active account.
pls a make date filtering option!
please can you add a date filtering option so i’m able to only see shifts on days i’m available?
Crashes constantly
Crashes regularly, especially when trying to hide the last item in a list. Hidden items also randomly reset and you have to re do them all over again. Good support though.
Room for improvement
It’s a good idea and booking shifts and getting paid is easy. Things to improve: I keep getting notifications of new shifts that are actually top up payments for other users. I can also see who worked and where and it feels weird that all Supp users get notifications to see who worked and where.
Could be a 5 star app!!
I am writing to report a critical technical glitch with my app notifications. I am currently being spammed with push notifications every 2 to 3 minutes for roles and shifts that I have already applied for. I have checked the in-app settings, but there is no option to limit or stop these duplicate alerts. Could you please check my account on your end and clear this notification loop? Honestly other than this really annoying glitch this app is an amazing idea!!!!
Absolutely useless
Impossible to get anything, there are 20 applicants for every shift the moment the notification loads. You should be pulling adds after a handful of applicants instead of having a feed where the only shifts are already absolutely filled with dozens and dozens of people sometimes hundreds. What’s the point of leaving all of these shifts open when quite clearly they’ve been filled. New applicants can barely see anything come up you’re not able to filter jobs. I didn’t even have success finding work as a dishwasher at restaurants around the corner from me when they were desperate for staff saying if you can come in now we’d really appreciate it. Not a single one offered anything or even took the shift offline after it started. Useless waste of time.
Need a messaging feature and calendar
Great app! Gots some work out of it. Needs to have a messaging feature of some sort. Sometimes there are jobs posted for 3 or 4 days, and I would like a way to be able to apply for maybe 2 or 3 days of these if I cannot do all. Also, sometimes shifts don’t show in date order which can be annoying. A calendar would be good.
Great app but wayyy too many bugs!
Latest bug is now only displaying for shifts in June, even though the date is now Sept & I can’t access any of this months shifts from the notifications 🤦♀️
Missing key features
You can only scroll through endless job offers, there isn’t a search tool to search for a specific date/location/ venue nor any kind of search filters which is very unpractical. Such a shame because the app is very popular
Supp Five Stars for The General Cafe
Loved my first Supp shift at The General Cafe. Despite the first time, there was ease of onboarding and Fraser was so nice.
Terrible Customer Service
Rude Customer Service - They’re all on power trips with how they speak to Hospitality staff using the app. Without the staff you wouldnt have the App!
Good but..
The payment used to be faster last year but now it’s getting longer. It’s almost 3 days already I still waiting for the payment 🥲
Improvements needed
You should implement distance filters when offering jobs. I’m receiving offers up to 690 km away. It would be great to be able to choose how far you want to work, for example within a 15 km radius.
Shift at Hotel Paradiso
During my shift at Hotel Paradiso, I primarily worked as a dishwasher, ensuring that all kitchenware, plates, and utensils were cleaned promptly and thoroughly to maintain smooth kitchen operations. Additionally, I assisted with general kitchen hand duties such as clearing tables, organising supplies and work efficiently. Thanks
Disssatisfied
This company buys their reviews unfortunately from clickfarms. When disputes happen, customer service heavily sides with the paying venues over the casual staff, leaving us with unfair ratings they can't change. They are also strict on their cancellation policy, restricting an account for 2 weeks even from sickness or injury. There are far more hospitality professionals looking for casual shifts on the platform than there are venues actively posting them. This leads to weeks of applying with zero feedback.
Notifications
Love the concept and the app is really good. Notifications are stressful, would be great to have the option to receive push notifications regarding shifts you have applied for, and not for every new shift that is posted! :)
Works great, some improvements could be made
So far it works great I’ve started to find my first few shifts. Some things could definitely be improved. Searching for temporary shifts there needs to be some search parameters available. Ie select only barista shifts within 20km distance on these specific dates. At this stage it’s time consuming scrolling through endless shifts. If you view any of them and go back to the list you start from the top again, not great UX. You should be able to save those searches and set up alerts for new ones that fit within those parameters.
Great App to find hospo work.
A great app to find hospo work and earn some extra cash. It would be amazing if there was a option for us to enter the hours worked after the shift on the app where it get tallied by the workers and the venues on the app rather having to text the managers. I’ve had instances where venues under processed my work hours and it has been such a pain to follow up on remaining payments.
Been stuck in the linking part for two days, can’t receive the login link
Payment procedure
Issue on payment procedures
Great for casual shifts
Saves me when I need some extra hours and also good way to find new opportunities
Poor customer support
App is good. Support is rubbish tho.
No chance at all
You should limit how many person can apply in one app, 200 ppl apply for a shift is a no chance for other new supp user
Fast and easy to use, great app
I was able to setup my profile in just a few minutes. Setting up my account was really straightforward and that helped me to start looking for shifts straight away.
Terrible customer support, broken system
Plenty and plenty of protection for businesses but not the workers. Watch out when using this app, if something goes wrong with your shift. They will support the business and bring your profile down in the algorithm, good luck tying to get another shift after. They can do the right thing by protecting workers rights. No circumstances should it be okay for a business to cancel your shift 2 hours before it starts and receive no compensation. They take advantage of the broken economy and desperation of people to line their pockets with commission without care to the clients they actually are suppose to represent.
GOAT
Easy application process and payment in two days. Am also using my profile to hire staff for my regular team
Dont comply with penalty rates
Sundays are paid the same rates as Saturdays, which is illegal. No late hours penalties. They charge employers 12% of your wage for each shift. Basically supp is pocketing your superannuation
Supp
Thank you so much. really big help for me. and big thanks to wlajeah for helping my application in supp.
Account suspended
They blocked my account due to low working experience but I already paid for my subscription. So funny
Thanks
Friendly work environment! Very nice experience to work with Rachelle :)
Unfairly weighted against staff
Businesses can cancel on you with no notice and you get no pay, but if you cancel you get banned
