Fantastic app
Eric’s New York app is fantastic and really helped to make a brilliant holiday so easy to navigate. It has so much information on it and it is so easy to use. Even our friends who live in the Bronx downloaded Eric’s app for the public toilet information alone! Seriously brilliant app and super helpful guy - many thanks Eric 😊

Bien mais trop d’adresses bidons
J’ai téléchargé tous les itinéraires et je les ai quasi tous faits. Ils offrent une bonne base pour organiser les visites des quartiers de New York. Le temps annoncé est clairement sous estimé si vous vous arrêtez pour sentir les lieux + shopping + repas. Par ailleurs les circuits manquent de référence sur les principaux building surtout les arts deco qui sont incroyables : nom, année de construction… J’ai trouvé qu’il y avait trop d’adresses de repas dont une partie sont à éviter comme Ellen’s stardust. Enfin c’est mon goût personnel mais je n’ai pas vu d’intérêts dans east village. Un samedi matin ce quartier était mort et inintéressant alors que Hell’s kitchen méritait un détour.
Application bloqué dès l’ouverture
Je viens de télécharger l’application, mais dès son ouverture elle reste bloquée en indiquant de rester patient le temps de télécharger mes données.
Good start
I need to link my places & settings etc to others on my family. Should be able to link to my passes and also have the map show MY places not Eric’s so I can plot my itinerary better.
Great app
We used this to plan our visit to NYC and also whilst there, especially the interactive map for subway stops and getting to and from attractions which we had tagged in the app. Well done Eric, we’ve bought you burger as thanks.

Bonjour Je viens de réinstaller pour la seconde fois l’application et comme pour la première fois impossible de télécharger les données à l’ouverture de l’application j’ai un message d’erreur puis le téléchargement dit qu’il va commencer sauf que cela reste bloqué à 0% Dommage car l’application me semblait bien répondre à mon besoin Pour info je suis sous la dernière version de iOS

A superb app, had EVERYTHING you’ll need!
We recently visited NYC for 6 days-I relied entirely on this app as my hubby was working (awww) whilst I was free to explore. It was my first ever trip to the city and I was anxious at first exploring solo, but with the app, felt confident enough to use the metro and travelled as far as the Bronx zoo (incredible-a must see). Managed to fit everything I’d hoped to see into the time I had, again thanks to the app and being able to plan, locate and book attractions, all via the app. Brilliant-thank you! This app is pointless
Yes, I have read the reviews, also I have been to NYC many times for brief visits as a foreigner This app is nothing more than a front end to sell tickets All free information is available elsewhere Charge for self guided walking tours? - Really? Have tried over the years to find some value this app adds other than making money for the people behind it, the answer is there is nothing that google will not tell you Therefore I am deleting it as useless and a money spinner for the hard of thinking

App keeps freezing
I’m a big fan of Eric’s website but this app isn’t working, keeps wanting to update which is fine but then it freezes and have been unable to do anything 😞 Since I reinstalled the app, it’s much better but not perfect but thanks Eric for taking the time to come back to me
An Essential for your NYC trip
The app was an invaluable source of information, it helpfully identified attractions, theatres, museums and more on a map. What was particularly useful was the ability to view the subway plan alongside these markers as well as your current location on the map helping to plan travel and regularly came in handy to find a short cut back to the hotel after wandering! Without a doubt this info helped make our trip stress free not only while we were there but also beforehand. The trip planner function helped us organise what and when we visited. There are also discount codes for passes. I’d definitely recommending the app to anyone planning to visit NYC!
Good Concept but…
Just keeps freezing when in use. Also no help file on how to add pins to the map. Shame - it’s just what I’ve been looking for.

Download de dados não funciona. Para nós 5% e depois da falha. Depois de fazer tudo que é pedido. Wi-Fi diferente, dados móveis Brasil e do EUA continua Nao funcionando. Maior perda de tempo esse app.

Just superb
First timers in NY and found this via the website which is also excellent. Used it extensively to plan our trip and had it on the go from start to finish guiding us around. Offline mode was so useful and the subway overlay incredibly helpful. We used 5 of the guided walks and stretched them out with some stop offs along the way but they gave us some great insight and found some great spots that we just wouldn’t have found without it. Well worth a few dollars for the value they gave us. Thanks Eric, you really made the trip a great one. Can’t wait to go back.

Brilliant!
I downloaded this app after having found Eric’s, also brilliant, website. We spent 5 days in New York and it was an absolute godsend. The Metro feature was particularly useful. Everything was so much clearer than Google maps. It was particularly good that no data was needed to be able to use it. I would highly recommend.

Eric’s app was extremely useful for our New York trip. Before the trip, I was able to search all our planned attractions and these were plotted in yellow on map. We were then able to use the subway route map to plan the nearest stop. We also used the discount code on the app to buy the New York pass.
