Great simulator!
Absolutely Terrible
At first this game seemed relatively straightforward and somewhat realistic but then I’d came to the conclusion that there was an apparent scarce amount of stock brands and ETP’s. In addition, from a game perspective this fails to provide many quality of life features. These mentioned: limited progression, lack of stock brokers, and lack of market superiority.

Worse Game
It is bad and has lots of bugs also it has too many ads and doesn’t teach you anything don’t get it. If you’re seeing this great because they a going to delete my comment to keep there oh so good reviews
I wish my hard work had a reward
I do really like this app but I wish it was more like the GameStock app. It’s paper trading but with actual cash prizes. If MarketSim had actual rewards for doing good I’d feel more motivated. Overall, I enjoy the app. I just want my effort to have a reward so I use the other app mainly for my paper trading since it’s no capital risk either.
Not enough foreign companies
A lot of companies are missing. Like Ferrari or TSMC. Those are major and I don’t see why you wouldn’t have them

Nice App
Works in real time mostly. Does not allow you to see some publicly traded companies and some ETF’s are not listed. Love to be able to dabble in crypto and other foreign markets to see how investable they are before throwing away money.
Could use a major update…
The app itself is fine but they need to fix the UI… I cannot tell if I’m looking at my gains or the stock growth for the day. There should also be more features and add more information to the UI itself.
The prices haven’t went up…unless
I been using this great stock up for 2 days. Maybe im just not patient enough, or there is just a bug.
Malicious popups
From the moment I started using this app I thought “Hmm, this looks like a lot of unsafe ads and popups”. shortly later I see threats being blocked on my internet.
Add a long term growth tracker
The app is very good and has most stocks that I want to purchase (90%) however only being able to see my stats for the day rather than the month or year is frustrating

This is a great app but I feel it is missing features like trading what you buy also I dislike how everything is on a set course and not constantly changing like in real life.
Great Sim Weird ads
I got this game for my kid so he could learn more about the stock market since I’m a broker. The only thing I’d the ads are for Temu and they show some inappropriate images. That’s the only thing I think that is bad.

Sometimes I try to add a new stock but it doesn’t come up. Also would be really nice if they can add a chart where u can look at ur balance/performance over time

Good tool
Very fast and well laid out. If you have a hair brained system you want to test out. This is the way to go. Some NASDAQ and all pink sheets and over-the-counter are excluded but it’s been an overall great experience.
Crash
The app is good except that while I was trading my game crashed and as soon as I opened I ended earning over 13k when I didn’t even own any stocks. Takes way from the realism feel

I was playing the stock then i lost money randomly i used to have 187 stock if corsair gaming then i lost it all i lost 5k
Glitches after stock splits
Stem inc just had 20-1 reverse stock split after the split 2 days ago I had 20 shares then for some reason the next day it did another split and split my shares down to 1 but now I’m -95% on my investment and just lost 19 shares. I saw another review where a similar thing happened and he thought it was the sim trying to make him think he was doing better than he actually was but it was because Tesla did a stock split but since it wasn’t a reverse stock split it gave him shares instead of taking them away like for me. The only reason I don’t care as much is because I only had like 150 in that investment and even tho I lost 19 shares I’m still up 0.26% today (even tho I should be close to 1% gained but atleast I didn’t lose a bunch of money.) Best not to invest in a company that is doing a split on this sim as it doesn’t simulate it correctly.
Good app but could be improved!
The app is good to start basic trading as a simulation but is missing a couple of handy features: - when looking at the chart, there should be axis for the time unit (x) and value unit (y). The apple bespoke Stock app could be used as reference for UX design. - the watchlist stocks cannot be re-organised or sorted - there are no portfolio menu that indicates how much cash or stock are owned at a given time - no fees for trading. It should also be a parameter. - no advanced trading options such as setting trailing stop order, limit order, ... - no candle charts or any indicators (sma, macd, rsi, ...). A lot of these features could be put as in-app purchases...
