Error
Hi please do something about avira phantom vpn “server not responding” error . Some times it appears randomly. Exactly randomly. in some hours of day its good but then the error starts annoying me. I think some ports getting banned by our dictator Stone Age regime in Iran. Please set the connections on more stable ports. I love Avira and don’t gonna change my vpn. Greetings from Iran. Sent from my iPhone
Worthless
The app isn’t recognized by iOS 26 as being installed and therefore doesn’t work on my 16 Pro Max; when you press to connect to the vpn, nothing happens. The app can’t even recognize when the phone is connected to WiFi.
Cannot log in into account.
“An error has occurred. Please try again later” always showing everytime I try to log in.
Unable to subscribe
The app closes when I click the buy button, it’s been going on for days and I’m growing impatient, I was really impressed by the free mb I was given to browse which was what led to wanna subscribe but the app won’t let me, pls resolve this as I’m growing impatient
Heavy load on speed
My connection is 600 mbps with the VPN off and only 5 mbps with VPN on. Working with Avira support to find the problem but it has been three days now back and forth with no solution yet.
The App
This app is the best app I have used thus far. Best prices. Phenomenal service. Very easy to use. Thank you to the creators and team.
Subscribe not working
Whenever I clock subscribe the app closes, I tried in different phones and always the same. I’m using iOS 18
Disconnected while Gaming
I really wish this VPN worked. It had low PIN, but unfortunately I got disconnected while using it for gaming.
VPN
I don’t understand why it just automatically turn off. I am pay for it so I expect for it to keep running until I turn it off
Cannot buy pro
The app crashes every time I try to buy pro. It does not let me buy it, so I am stuck at free
Ios26
When I upgrade ios version 26, avira vpn cannot use with wifi ad mobile data. How can I fix this problem?
Strange occurrence
I subscribed to the free trial and seems to work quite good but in the middle of browsing it disconnects and you can't get it to reconnect unless you close the app and restart it again. Very annoying issue and I will not be continuing my subscription.
More countries needs to be added
I wish you add some more countries
Worked for the free version... Not for paid
The moment I upgraded, nothing is happening. Ithe vpn can't be turned on and hence I can't use my phone to call from abroad ( viber is banned in Morocco for example) kind of disappointing.
Membership is Prime,
Several times ap cannot find my subscription so no VPN
Love it
So good
Cargo mensual a pesar de estar cancelada la suscripción
Cancele la suscripción y me siguen cobrando a mi tarjeta cada mes
Thanks
Recommend for this application.
Doesn't work currently
Before the last update this was a simple and effective VPN. I just paid for unlimited access to avoid the "authentication information" popup and it still doesn't work. I've tried my account password, PINs, typing nothing, there's no connection. Will request a refund once it's processed or edit my review if fixed.

Your VPN is requently go out.

I hate that all these apps claim to be free when actually they give you a very short trial period of seven days and then make you pay through the nose.

No longer works?
Been using this VPN for a while. All of a sudden it no longer works. The app was updated recently and since then I cannot choose a region and every time i attempt to turn on the VPN it says “Service unavailable, please try again later.” Ive uninstalled and reinstalled the app multiple times, through the app store and through my Avira Prime subscription. Prime is supposed to include this VPN’s Pro version, but since this update when I log into my account it tells me I dont have Pro and to pay for it, this is completely unacceptable.
I'm an Avira premium user and it doesn't work
It worked perfectly since I installed the app until about a few days ago and now it doesn't work. My premium membership hasn't been finished so I can't figure as to why and need your assistance. Thank you.
Logs me out of the app
This app will log me out on its own. I don’t know why it does that on my iPhone. I don’t know if I have a virus or something but if I do what do I need to download so I can make sure I’m protected??? Any suggestions??
Crashes
When it works it’s great but crashes weekly and needs to be deleted and reinstalled, it’s incredibly annoying
Love this vpn
I just needed it to watch stuff like Australia & Canada Big Brother etc with no hassle of daily motion ads etc and this VPN is easy, cheap and gets it done with zero problems. I love it.
Cannot connect vpn
I cannot connect on my iPad. Even changing another location.
Nice
Good
Hard time uploading app
It’s taking a long while to upload on my other phone
Problem
Suddenly can’t use the app. Need authentication. Why? I already login my account.

very slow
some server loading internet way to slowly , when I watching Facebook on video 😌👎
Good vpn.
Have been using this from past year. But sometimes network speed is slow.other than that , nice to have it. I use this mainly to stream some Indian channels . Netflix or Hulu does not work using this VPN.
Inconsistent VPN
I have the prime version of Avira and am happy with anti-virus function however lots of glitches with VPN. I communicated with customer service few times and followed all the instruction. I still have problem using the VPN at my work place.
Avira PhantomVPN
Seems ok for a free VPN. 500MB limit on initial installation and enabling seems a bit low, but registering an account on the Avira website and logging into the app increases the limit to 1GB, which is reasonable for testing. At least no constant nagging App Icon Badge like Avira Security for iOS.

Constantly disconnects.
This VPN constantly disconnects and I find myself checking every 10 minutes if I’m still connected or not. Which I’m usually not. Never had that issue with Nord and regretting spending money for this app.
Wrong login details
Works okay on PC, iOS App need to be updated as the login details don’t work on iOS. Please fix
After last update...
After last update, it doesn’t connect and work in some countries.
Keeps Logging You Out - Have to Reinstall
This review is a simple one The VPN is fantastic and easy to use , I have the pro licence costing £4.99 a month which is great value , however it keeps dropping out constantly and you have to log back in despite the auto connect to trusted WIFI networks turned on. It also logs you out permanently upon which you have to reinstall via the App Store all over again.
Most lovely VPN
Avira has been a fascinating name since my start up entry into usage of techno products. Here also with Avira Phantom VPN, it comes really nice, protective and familiar. I love the way Avira contributes.

Works well..
On the iPhone it's a breeze, a little bit fussy on iPad (both iOS 9) but with a bit of coaxing does get there. Fast connection and so far doesn't drop out. I like it.
What??
Why are all the services seperate it should all be in the main Avira app. But this will waste your phone storage
Great app but only 500 MB data for free version
It is really free/no subscription required!! and works very well but with free version you get only 500MB data per month which I guess it would be enough 20-30 live stream however there is a monthly paid subscription option to get more data.
