There is always 1 notification in the app despite of having no actual notification inside the app. This problem I am facing from the very beginning, maybe 5/6 years back and it’s still there which is very annoying 😡

One significant issue has been observed from the very beginning of the delivery & no improvement, which is really surprising as well as reason of overlooking? That’s - overlooking & carelessness For example : today I ordered for Ice Frappe (Nestle product) but I observed “leaked” & coming out from pack? Most of them are not in order. There are many examples being I witness & I reported too many times but no outcome.
Pay on Delivery for a Better Experience
The products are good, but advance payments often lead to delayed deliveries. For timely service, it’s best to choose cash on delivery, as they sometimes miss their promised delivery slots.

Hidden cost and increased delivery charges
I was a regular customer of Chaldal since 2020 and recommended others to check their app for regular groceries need. Last few months, I have noticed they are making people fool through hidden charges named handling charges in addition. Increasing delivery costs frequently and delivering poor quality products for example Malta, chola and etc. I don’t trust them anymore and back to physical shops. If they continue like this way, they will back to root where they came from.

Most of the items are overpriced from 10-50BDT at the same time quality of perishable goods are below average.

Many items came not at all fresh or rotten, veg are very small in size.

Unavailable product cannot refund money
Most of the time product is not available. If you pay through credit card or bKash, they will not refund your money without harassing you. They add money to your chaldal account and force u to order their another product to adjust money.....
Delivery issues
Timely delivery is an issue. You increase the price of product that a customer frequently buy. Example- I started buying Tatkini fish for 109 taka and now it is stands with 139 taka. Pls don’t do this.
Blank screen most of the time
Shows blank screen most of the time. Moreover shoes there is stock but when u at them in cart then it does all r out of stock
Lacks good interface and big bugs not fixed
The interface really needs a big update. They also should solve popped notification bug, it’s really annoying.

You get the option to choose a delivery window but that is just for show. They never delivered on time. If you call the customer care you have to wait for them to call back which usually takes 30-40 minutes. And that customer care does not help in any way.

Forget your peace after registering
You can not call it anything other than harassment when you give your number to them. Every other day they will call you with a new number just to let you know the price of things that you so not need. You are in a meeting? Or in a funeral? They don’t care. They won’t stop even if you say this is not the right time. I am a regular customer of them, I even tried saying I will not use your service if you call again. And guess what who called the next morning? Yes, the same guy just to let me know the potato price has dropped. Finally get rid of their call by leaving to a country where the call roaming is not supported. But thanks to them, I’ve been updated daily through SMS, a life saving courtesy from them.
