Help me
I have 4 modules I’ve completed and the app won’t me mark as complete and prompting me to complete again. It’s very frustrating doing the same tests multiple times and not being able to mark as complete.

Great educational resource Would be great if they had an option of Nurse Practitioner so that I can record registrations and education requirements appropriately
Not as useful now
They’ve put previously accessible features behind a paywall, and it’s excessively priced simply to access the guided reflection. I used this because it was convenient, but it’s now more annoying to use than just making a note - particularly when the app is clunky to use. Also difficult to find how to change the setting from calendar year to financial year (if that’s even an option), in line with my association’s reporting requirements.
Took away reflection prompting
Disappointed they have now made the reflection prompting as a paid feature 😏 I used this app because it made documenting quick and easy in between being short staffed and constantly run down. It allowed me to stay on top of my documenting with little time

I have 2 gripes
The assistance in writing the CPD reflection was great, but now it’s behind a paywall which is very expensive. Secondly, it only allows portfolio downloads from Jan to Jan, so I miss out of 3 months worth as my appraisal is in October!

I work in maintenance and the majority of the training on here is not related to what I do.
Super helpful so far
Did the update and now the courses or lectures or articles don’t have “subscription only” tag on them. Using the free version, you can’t tell which ones are accessible anymore.
Originally loved and promoted this app but not anymore!
This was a fantastic find as a student nurse and I was able to justify the cost as it helped so much with tracking my CPD and guiding my reflections. After already paying a substantial amount to access the app now the capabilities are being locked behind a “premium” option. I will not be renewing my subscription and will no longer be suggesting it to other healthcare workers.
Ausmed
Ausmed is easily accessible, user friendly and convenient as an active part of daily progressive portfolio management. However, it’s more a nurse base program and not so much a basis for paramedic learning.

Not working properly.
I am a home Carer for Elderly people living at home. Is part of my job to keep my training updated. Up until few months ago’ my AUSMED has been working properly, in this last month I have had assignment to complete one is overdue because the app doesn’t let me in anymore and I don’t know why. Not impressed.
Have to pay now

PD Tracker but a lot of reflection
This is a great tool to track PD however it still asks for individual discipline registration boards and does not list AHPRA as an option and AHPRA has been multidisciplinary registration in Australia for over 10 years. Also asks a lot of generic self reflection questions but in some cases this is quite tedious to complete for a simple in service or workshop. Would be better if the self-reflection was an option not a requirement

A fantastic app with training that all health care members should use!
Expensive
I started using the app about three years ago. It is very well designed and makes it easy to log your CPD. However I feel like the fees have gone up way too much. I know it’s tax deductible but $390 a year is insane. I won’t be renewing my subscription.
Difficult
Very difficult and time consuming finding education to be completed. Need to go into the facility to get help from management.

Resets subject matter when you get called away from the subject at hand. Not an easy App to navigate sadly. Got quality information provided however not a quality set out APP presenting it.
Awesome training program
Information and training modules are very well presented. Very useful information is also given on each topic.
Reflection
Not happy that the guided reflection has dropped off the subscription and you now have to pay extra. Poor form Ausmed.
THE BEST
Ausmed provides the best learning and education platform. It is simple to use and a lifesaver when it comes to documenting nursing CPD points. I love this system because it makes life so much easier!
Paid VS Unpaid
Unhappy to see the shift to a paid/unpaid reflective process. The guided reflection that existed previously provided an easy template to document your CPD quickly, however it appears without a subscription the app serves little benefit other than being a place where your CPD hours are recorded, the same function as a Note on your phone does without the barrier of having to log in. I’ll be exploring other options and recommendations to my interns and colleagues.
Delay in Service
I updated my payment details and rejoined. I did not get immediate access to education. This wasted a day where I could catch up on my education. I had to send an email and I’m waiting to be able to access education again. I expected immediate accesd

I purchased a monthly subscription for AUSMED for University. I was charged almost 3 times are much. There is limited information on the app about getting help and reporting a problem. Don’t get scammed
