I enjoy having this app however I have set up the notifications many times and it never sends me them or sometimes it will do it for a couple weeks and then stop.

Appreciate the schedule reminders in a timely manner. The questionnaires are interesting and fun. Detailed information for sorting, very helpful.
The app won’t open for several months already
Used this app for a while but since some recent updates the app crashes when I try to open it again on iPhone 13 Pro Max
Non pick up
When your driver decides at the time of pick up to not do so due to various reasons it would make sense to put a notice on this site or your website. Be nice to know what is going on.

Could be much better
I’ve found many items are incorrect and when i call they say oh it could be this or that. Not very helpful. The notifications are also not working despite my settings are correct; I have to use my phone calendar as I can’t rely on the app to consistently notify me. Unless they can make some improvements I’ll be deleting it as it’s providing me no benefit to have it.

Great app for pick up day reminders. Also handy for asking how to sort your waste. I’ve had to use it several times.
App is broken
I had to reinstall the app on my new iPhone and the latest version no longer works on my iPhone 17e. I cannot select my recycling region to start the app. The app used to work fine. There is a major issue with the latest update.

Can’t assign my new address again after moving years later. Bad UX in general.
Recycle reminder
I totally like the recycle reminder I get in Summerside where my house is , but when I try to enter my cottage location it always tells me that my location doesn’t exist . Well I beg to differ, I have been getting IWMC service there for years. Is there some reason I cannot get reminders for two locations ?

I no longer get notifications for garbage day with this app. It has been months.
Not accurate
I used to use this app religiously but as of this year it’s not accurate at all. It says recycling is every week which is not true it’s every other week. It also says to put certain things in the blue box or beside it when we don’t even use blue boxes anymore. I realize Ontario has changed recycling but it wasn’t overnight this has been known for over a year.

I find this app to be very helpful in remembering which waste pick up day it is.
Nobody works harder sabotaging recycling efforts than people whose job it is to get you to recycle!
Constantly changing the rules is bad enough, but now recycling doesn’t show up on the recycling coach. Are morons in charge of this operation.

Not sure what goes on but the collection days are back to front. Today is 2 bins. App says 1. Other wise it’s a good reminder.
It’s good but not awesome
It’s an ok app…sometimes I don’t receive notifications, sometimes I do. How about Siri support and even a way to add garbage pickups to the calendar app or even reminders. Makes sense, no? Would be a 5 star app if it supported it.

Preferred the “My Waste App” which shows current week and next week.
Notification reminders broken
The main reason for the app is the notifications. Have not been working for weeks. Either non existent or way late. Re-installing has not helped.
Crashing
After the last updates the app isn’t working properly. It crashes everytime I try to open it. I still get the notifications though

By the app I know which day is recycle day.

App says compost yard open till 3pm yet closed at 1pm.

So helpful in ways you’d never expect
My garbage man told me about this app when he was rejecting my bin and I asked why. He showed me the app and it clearly explains how to tell and separate things. You can look items up if you’re not sure where they should be sorted. It’s amazing!
Too intrusive
There's no reason for this app to collect your address info. Postal code or collection zone should be sufficient. I'll stick with the non-data harvesting paper copy of the collection calendar. Deleted.
