Customer service fixed my problem
I had a small issue with sending trail layer’s trails via air drop. Customer service fixed my problem. We use this app for all training reports for our bloodhound team. We are an law enforcement bloodhound team. We love it.
Unable to open runners tracks
Bought pro via upgrade option in app, unable to use. It errors “already an active subscriber using receipt.” Contacted support, days later they send me the same file available in the help section that provides no help, is not relevant, still cannot use and no refund. I have hours into restarts, redownload, and reading help files. No help from support, waste of $

Wenn man die App im Wald benutzt, zeichnet sie einen Zickzack-Kurs auf. Dadurch wird die gemessene Strecke massiv, um gut das Doppelte in die Länge gezogen.

Love this app for working dogs. It tracks age of trail, temp, time etc. one thing that would make it over the top amazing would be an app for watches. If you can add an app for smart watches that would be great. I have heard another app does that and mane folks are going to those as we can’t pull our phones out when working our dogs Shay
New layout isn’t good
The new version of the pro app is no where near as good as the previous version. It definitely needs looking at again. It’s not user friendly and so much less useful. Please please please reinstate the old version or sort this one out. Layout is hard to navigate. Has anyone actually looked at it 🤔
Good app, Service did Get Back with Me
Have paid for the upgraded app and it was working well in fact this was my second year. Did an update and it does not recognize me as having an upgrade. Sent message to help center and have yet to hear back. So now I have an app that I am paying for and it does not work and no way to get help. The app works well but no way to get help if something goes wrong. UPDATE: They did get back with me and fixed the problem. Still using app and so far it is working.
Issues
Started off great- but over the last year or so, the tracks laid are automatically jumping off course. Almost like it’s connecting to some I know source. I have sent feedback and asked for help, but have yet to hear back. The tracks get so off course it shows me walking multiple extra miles even on short tracks laid. As police K9- I need something more reliable and trustworthy. I paid for the pro version and expect more. - MN Cop

Love the app and has been very useful for our mantrailing antics but would love to be able to add the app to my apple watch too for even better convenience - any chance that could be done ?

Gut nachgebessert
Die App hast du wirklich gut nachgebessert. Mir gefällt das neue Kartenmaterial, schön, dass man auch die Ansicht wechseln kann und dass die App jetzt schon länger stabil läuft. Kleines Problem, dass man immer wieder mal die Pro-Version aktivieren muss. Den 5.ten Stern gibt’s, wenn du es schaffst, eine Ordner-Möglichkeit in die Runner- und in die gesuchten Trails einzufügen. Ich organisiere gerade Trails mit langer Liegezeit mit 50 HF aus verschiedenen Ländern. Die meisten Runnertrails kommen über The Mantrailing App. Ohne Ordnerstruktur wird das jetzt mega unübersichtlich. Vielleicht kann man ja aber auch eine Suchfunktion einführen. No customer service
I bought this app along with the rest of my K9 team in early 2019. It worked for everyone but me on the team. I contacted customer service numerous times and a couple of times they contacted me back quickly but with no help. Most of the time it took weeks and multiple messages before I got a response and sometimes via the app sometimes via Facebook but still no help. I’ve been told how to restore my paid account numerous times which has not worked. I have received two messages with a link to reset my account but they have expired before I could use it due to me working nightshift and a very slim window to use the link. I was auto billed for another year and it still does not work. All I wanted was this app to work as it does for the rest of my team but it doesn’t. If you have any problem with this app cancel it immediately and get your money back. You can not rely on customer service to help. I rated this 2 stars because those it works for it seems great. If it does not work, they have your money so I guess they no longer care
Ganz gut, mit Schwächen
Ich nutze die App im Training für die Rettungshundestaffel. Sie ist eine Erleichterung, hat aber ihre Schwächen. Die Aufzeichnung ist teilweise ungenau und verbraucht relativ Akkukapazität, seit dem Update ist es etwas besser. Wünschenswert wären auch neue Funktionen, wie die Bedienung über die AppleWatch oder die Möglichkeit mehrere Runnertrails zu verbinden, beim Verlegen einer Versteckperson. Leider bekommt man keine Antwort vom Entwickler wenn man eine Nachricht schickt und es gibt auch keine regelmäßigen Neuerungen. Schade, da die App mit dem Abo sogar relativ teuer ist.

Awful app
I’ve downloaded twice and had payment deducted twice and had zero functionality. Contacted the company 4 times zero response. Don’t use this app if you have an alternative you can use I begrudgingly gave one star because no stars isn’t available
Unverzichtbar
Wir nutzen die App für unsere Trainings im Katastrophenschutz. Sie ist mittlerweile fester Bestandteil und unverzichtbar geworden. Egal ob schon für den Rettungsdienst zertifizierter Hund oder noch Anfänger. Einziger Nachteil ist das etwas komplizierte handling wenn der Runner den Trail an das Suchteam schicken will. Hier wäre es wünschenswert einfach einen link zu generieren der den Trail dann öffnet. Statt: speichern, exportieren, per WhatsApp senden, dann beim Hundeführer öffnen, importieren, Speichen.
Datenschutz? Genauigkeit?
Eigentlich eine gute App, aber leider mit 2 Problemen. Ein Problem muss zwingend abgestellt werden, ansonsten kann ich diese App nicht weiterempfehlen. Das Hauptproblem: Warum kann ich die App nur benutzen, wenn ich die Einstellung für Ortungsdienste auf "immer" stellen muss? Das ist ein No Go. Es sollte ausreichen, wenn ich auf "beim benutzen ändere". Die App wird von mir für Trainingsdokumentationen genutzt. Dann und nur dann möchte ich das eine App. meine Geodaten abgreift. Und nicht ständig. Unter iOS13 habe ich einen Hinweis bekommen, wie oft meine Standort Daten abgegriffen wurden und das obwohl die App nicht benutzt wurde. Ich bin fast soweit dieses an Apple zwecks Überprüfung zu senden. Das zweite Problem. Die gemessenen Entfernungen sind teilweise bis zu 100 / 150 m ungenau. Runtastic und andere Apps kommen mit demselben Gerät immer auf kürzere Entfernungen. Nach nachmessen können wir bestätigen, dass diese App ungenauer ist. Warum auch immer. Aber das ist für die Doku egal, wenn man diese Schwäche kennt. Aber ersteres hat etwas mit Privatsphäre zu tun.

Love it, but...
I really enjoy this App and it’s very useful for me. I would like to have aging less than one hour. I would also like to be able to edit the trail when I or the runner forgets to stop GPS. There is also no way to send feedback or request help because clicking on those options leads to a message with no addressee.

I want to start out by saying I use this application every day that I train. I am a police K9 handler for a tracking and trailing dog. I work with a lot of citizens and volunteers that I ask to also use this application while they set trails. The price of this app makes it very easy to ask people to download and purchase the pro version if they are going to train with me regularly. I have officially gotten permission from my command staff to use this application as my training and deployment documentation. That being said there are only 2 things I really wish would be possible. The first is the ability to edit my trails on the desktop version. I am able to see everything that I have done, but I can’t input any info. The second thing would be having a way to create a training group where I can invite other handlers to an event and document my entire training day, not just my dogs activities. Outside of those two things, thank you for creating a product that has been so useful and reasonable for me to be able to use with others.

Hallo Niklas, danke für die neuen Karten vor ein paar Monaten. Allerdings funktioniert das Teilen nach wie vor nicht wirklich. Der Teilen-Button sagt dass es nicht geht, weil die Funktion zur Zeit nicht zur Verfügung steht. Unter Bearbeiten kann ich PDF auswählen, was die App aber nach einiger Zeit abstürzen läßt. Selbst nach Neustart funzt es nicht. Nur GPX-Export geht... bitte dringend fixen! In meinem Bekanntenkreis ist es genauso unter iOS. Gruß Heiko iPhone XS iOS 13.3

This is a great app mostly the only downside is that most of the time it says that the signal is low so the track may not be totally accurate. It would also benefit if you could change the distance units down even small like to meters..

Great App until recently
Loved this app until recently. Every time try to open “trail” app shuts down. Have sent Numerous requests for help and have received no response.
Super Mantrailing App
Die App ist übersichtlich und einfach aufgebaut. Schön wäre es, wenn man Start und Ende über die Watch steuern könnte, da es beim Trailen immer schwierig ist das Handy ein- und auszupacken.
????? Does not work automatically when upgraded, must restore.
All looks great, but need pro version so signed up paid £5.99 and still not been upgraded over 34 hours later. Sent an email via”contact us” no reply or acknowledgement. Finally had an automated reply and setting “Restore” + password the app has now upgraded. This may turn out great but have signed up for one year so will test it’s capabilities over the next twelve months. Now upgraded from one star to two stars.
Great app, but...
This app has been awesome for K9 SAR trainings until about 6 weeks ago. App crashes every time I try to open a trail shared from a team mate via email. Both iPhone and app are up to date. Help?!
Great app
This app works great! It does exactly what I need. As an LEO with a K9 (bloodhound), this app helps log needed info and is also easy to use. Showed the app to other trainers and K9 handlers (trailing dogs) and they really liked the app also.
App won’t stay open - iPhone 7
Downloaded this app twice, and restarted my phone in between in case there was some glitch. The app opens for a second, opens a prompt requesting access for notifications and GPS, then immediately closes. I can’t access anything in the app before it closes. Same thing every time I try to open it. No where in the App Store or on their website to contact anyone about it. Looks like a great app, and have heard great things about it. Unfortunately, can’t review it as such if I can’t actually use it.

Die App ist einfach und gut strukturiert. Jahresabonnement in der Pro Version 7,99€, sorry einmalig hätte ich es bezahlt, so ist es übertrieben. Gibt andere Apps mit denen es ähnlich gut geht. Und leider keine Karte mit Höhenprofil.
Klasse App
Seit ios 13 ist es nicht möglich gpx Dateien zu importieren! Eine Mail an die Hotline bleibt leider unbeantwortet. Leider nicht das erste mal. Da ich für die Pro Version bezahle finde ich das nicht ok. Hoffe das nächste iOS Update behebt den Fehler auf ein Update der App hoffe ich nicht. Darüberhinaus wünsche ich mir Trailrouten vorab Zu planen und als Runner zu speichern. Momentan Mache ich das mit Maps 3D und importiere diese dann. Kann immer noch keine gpx Routen importieren! Es fehlt immer noch das Update für iOS

I use this app all the time along with the other members of my search and rescue group. It’s a very convenient way to record my tracks and I never have any issues with it. We love it!
Unusable
I downloaded this app today and it opens and then crashes immediately. I have shut off and turned on the phone, rebooted the phone, uninstalled and reinstalled the app a few times and it still crashes immediately upon opening.
Man trailing application
I was happy to see the improvements converting to a PDF and actually being able to print! For a very long time I did not recommend this app to my trailing dog buddies. There’s a lot of pluses in this application, however, what is your definition of the difference between “RUNNER” and “LAYER”? We have Trail Layer and K9 Teams here. Also what is a RUREAL area? Lost map
Used this app to document SAR certification. Recorded all info except the actual map. I fired up this app in Indiana and it still shows my last flag as there. Check all god setting and all are correct. Sometimes works, sometimes doesn’t. Going to reload it because it’s great when it works.
Love the app for SAR
I use this app for my SAR training. It is very easy to use and capture all the data I need for my records. See the demo they have on the website. This sold me on this app. Also very appreciative of the additional feature of being able to use satellite imaging. Thank you for our great customer service as well when I had to change my email.
Can't share trails
Can't send the trail with other app users, Why? I have an iPhone and can't even share the trails with users who also use iPhones. It simply doesn't come up. We've tried emailing and that doesn't work either. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Great app for SAR
We use this app every week to track my dog’s SAR trails. Adding additional info after class and export to pdf for his log book. Super easy to use. Only thing I wish it could do would be for me to be able to use the app on multiple phones with my pro account since reception in rural North Carolina can be very spotty.

New update
I down loaded the update from today, and now the app does not work! It opens to the subscription agreements and there is no where to "accept" so the you can use the app. Can't get to menu, nothing!
Great app
Takes a bit of getting used to initially but really great app for keeping training records and for people that train alone with a Misper. Look forward to the website coming back on line too. Just linked my phone with a Garmin glo2 which now gives greater accuracy to the app as well
