Great
I got to speak with real french speakers! It helped my french so much. Got to meet cool people! Still figuring things out but i can't wait to use this app more! They are so many opportunities to help others as well so that's really nice.
Not working
The app is not working at all. Please fix it
About the application
Lingbe is a good application for learning English speaking. It gives learners an opportunity to talk with real people from different countries through voice calls. This helps in improving pronunciation, fluency, and confidence while speaking English. The app is very useful for practicing daily conversation and learning new words in a natural way. However, there are some drawbacks too. Sometimes network issues disturb the calls, and at times it is difficult to find a suitable partner. Also, the quality of conversation depends on the other user. Despite these problems, Lingbe is a helpful app for improving spoken English.
Needs bug fixes and UI update
Its good but the user interface needs a lot means a lot of update and bug fixes. There are a lot of bugs and due to that I cant connect with people.
Love the idea, not enough speakers.
Japanese is completely dead, I end up wasting many hours just waiting for a call which cuts itself off. Non-native speakers in the native section too.
Recently I downloaded this app
Recently I downloaded this app and I loved for now! I hope won’t damage with ads🙁
Waste of time
It doesn’t connect me to anyone on the call i use my iPhone
It’s really good but I’m nervous
I like this but when I put my real age it doesn’t lets me when it said 4+ I’m born 2011 and it doesn’t let me put it
Pro subscription fail
When i select pro plans and click continue button it doesn’t do any thing
Great potential to be a fantastic language learning tool
First of all, this app pairs you with a native speaker of the language you’re trying to learn with a voice call. So that’s great because it is quick and straight to the point and you get talking with someone immediately. But the app is very buggy, it constantly closes by itself, it’s slow and unresponsive. And I wish you could send voice messages to friends. There’s a few other features that I wish it had, but other than that it’s a good with a lot of potential.
VERY Nice app!
VERY Nice app!
Bugs
We are connecting you screen show up and runs infinite time
Glitchy
Its a really good app but it does tend to glitch and not let me connect to calls, it also crashes sometimes when im in the middle of messaging someone and it can be super frustrating.
Learner
Actually this app has a lot problems unfortunately. First of all, the connection is very poor, my internet isn’t bad so there’s nothing wrong with it plus, whenever I opened the chat section the app crashed and it sent my out of it immediately. Hopefully all these problems will be fixed soon and thank you.
Hmmm
I’m about through with this app. After one year of membership, it seems there are only more glitches than before. If you have an iOS I wouldn’t even bother; the keyboard doesn’t work for anything but private chats. This glitch hasn’t been fixed since I switched to iOS over six months ago, and it makes participating in tasks and forums a royal pain. The idea of the app is good, but even with a paid membership I make fewer “lingos” for helping someone learn, than is necessary to pay for help. Thus, I’m hesitant nowadays to give my time, as I really don’t have that much extra I can spend teaching. Time zones and low usage unfortunately cause there to be very few native speakers in my practice language available to chat with. So, despite the great idea, this app is turning into a bit of a ghost town.
A very wonderful app to use
I’ve learned a lot throughout using this app and also met lots of cool ppl
Sound intermittent
When I spoke every 30 seconds the sound intermittent !!!!!!
Useful
it help me make some friends who are interesting, but the app often quit suddenly when i open it, I hope author can fix it
Crashes
This app is good but always crash , maybe you should hire good programmers.
Great ideas, bad implementation, bad support
This has a great community and great ideas, but the app is awful. The screens are confusing, the app takes over your iPhone sound even when you’re not listening to the app, the typing interface doesn’t allow spell-check or auto-correct, etc., etc. The FAQ is useless and support is slow.
So far so good!
First call was a success.
Bad
It's not good at all, and I don't recommend it until the known issue is fixed it suddenly disconnects and both parties can't hear each other.
The sound in app is not good
The sound in app is not good I can’t hear any one can you Improve that
Big issues on ios
This app is not optimized for iPad at all it’s used to work fine but with the updates of this year it’s not working as it is supposed to; the screen goes black for no reason, lot of lags and above all if you choose to use Apple ID as I did it’s impossible to switch to another device using the same account as I couldn’t till now recover my password to use on the other device. Ps: I have two iPads one of them is of the last generation but on both of them it didn’t work PPs: I reached out to the app support but in vain.
Consistently Broken
The concept here has potential, but they make it very difficult to earn in-app currency (lingos) unless you are a native speaker of English. The app is also often buggy. Calls will not connect or they get dropped. In the rooms, the audio is often too low and the hosts cannot invite people to join. I find myself less and less interested in using this app, and I am a native speaker of English
Good
👍🏻
Technical problems
It has a lot of technical issues it needs to be fixed as well as every time i about to take a call it loads forever so i have to close the app and start again and i face the same issue again
Milad
That’s great but there’s a limit for Lingos
Hate the new update
Whilst the app is good in theory, it has countless bugs (I lost my 70 day streak despite speaking for 30 minutes, amongst other issues like crashing, freezing, not receiving things bought in the shop with lingos) and the new update is terrible. It makes no sense that we cannot maintain our call streak with practice rooms and native calls like before. Besides, whenever I try to start an 8 minute practice session, no one is available. I wait the full 2 minutes several times for other lingbers to be found and it hasn’t worked. Now I will lose my streak again when I have already spoken for several hours today. The idea of the app is great, and I would have recommended it to anyone looking to practice their speaking skills, I’ve met loads of nice people on it and have improved loads, but the bugs need to be fixed and the update to be modified.
I love it however
Love this app but it’s so glitchy and sometimes I can’t even open the app properly
My experience
I wanna briefly say that none of Applications are better than Lingbe, you can find people to talk one in one that helps you significantly specially for your fluency in your target language. Besides that you can find natives and talk with them for free. Just download this application and use from it you will witness a hug alteration in your speaking capability in your target language. Best regards
No good but it used to be

About Lingbe
It is an amazing app. I like it so much. But I am also facing some problems with the chat option. I can't see messages properly and can’t send messages properly. So, fix this problem, will be better for me.😊
DISAPPROVED instead of getting verified
Hello So I talked to the verifier for 2 times and both times he said I’d get verified. HOWEVER I GOT DISAPPROVED INSTEAD. I don’t know if it’s a bug or a problem in the app, but please look into it and VERIFY me
Disappointing
In New update you earn half coins than last one , Not enough coins to practice I no longer can use the app ☹️ Calls have bugs for the most part Messages come and send with delay nerve racking most of the times It doesn’t sound like learning app anymore
Great concept and potential
5 stars for the potential and value of the app, I sent an email to support on the bugs I found. Please fix 🙃, I really have made so much progress being connected to native speakers , I want to keep using the app
Junk with constant mandatory updates
Title says it all. Use youtube to learn any language for free instead of this. This app is pure trash. Constantly forces updates for no reason. Now it has almost 0 users bc they dont listen to the user base. Having a good time watching it burn. Now im leaving too. Uninstalled
Amazing app but..
I think this is an amazing app but there is a bug on the IPhone 11 where if you click on the messages button while on a call, you can’t exit out again because the ‘x’ button is too far up right which means you cannot end the call until they do.
Why there is no button of deleting ??
Up
I love the idea of this app but there are many problems that need to be fixed.
I love the idea of this app! In fact, I have spent months looking for this kind of app. I think it is the only one of its kind. I have noticed many problems with the app. For one thing, the accessability for screen reader users is not very good. When I downloaded it and tried it, I could not access many of the apps features that were offered. When I wen into the app after I wrote my orriginal review, the app stopped working entirely. Ever since, I have not been able to get it to work at all. I could open it up, but nothing would happen. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it a good 3 times without any improvements. Does anyone know if some kind of virus made it into the app! This is a big shame because when it was working, I was able to practice some Spanish with a native Spanish speaker. I was also able to help an English learner practice their English. I could only make a call, answer a call and chat with my voice during the call. I could do almost nothing else because the features were inaccessible. But now, I can not even use the app at all! This app needs an update right away with real improvements that aactually work for everyone who wishes to use it!.
非常好用
很好用正在学习使用它的功能
Doesn’t work
No matter what I did I can’t even make an account sadly not sure how this app so many positive reviews sad
poonam
it is a good app but sometime i suffersd from network issue and call disconnected in every time.i cant get practice with native speaker
C’mon now fix the glitches!
Calls drop or don’t connect. I’ve posted questions on Lingbe tasks and now they don’t even show the answers to questions I’ve made. I paid for Pro and I can’t even I’d the video with people who also have Pro. You need to resolve this problem. This app has the potential to be great if you pay attention to comments made here. Also, I should be moving up levels faster and I’m not. Seems like the regular version is better than the apto version! Go figure. I’d be happy to give you more stars once these issues are resolved.
Bugs
After this update, July 1th, I cannot connect with nobody... The app stays loading and trying to connect me and another person for loads of minutes... 2 days ago (before the update) everything was super fine... Fix that issue, that i will give you guys a 5 stars...
Cool one
Nothing to say except as a free version user that…
Censorship and racist abuse
Rampant hate towards Asians and lgbtq from the same people over and over. If you dare to speak out your comments are all deleted by lingbe. In the meantime the perps carry on. Terrible app poor rum and managed with censorship at its finest. Lots of people asking even demanding help from native English speakers. All after they abuse those very people. Lots of hatred anger and racism on this app. Lingbe not only allows and tolerates such repugnant behavior they also encourage it. I imagine they think all publicity is good publicity.
Network and battery 🔋 issue
App is wonderful but it eating too much battery 🔋 power , Secondly whenever I click on add watching it’s appear check your internet failure while my internet working fine with other app and browser , Hope will fix it as soon
Can’t view adds for coins, poor connection issues
I’ve recently been trying to view adds for coins and it always says “whoops no internet connection” I’ll leave my phone open for ages and it still doesn’t connection. Funny thing is, I can still accept and make calls 🤔
Great Idea - Very Bad UX
Love the app and the idea, but hate the usability. I have a 2016 SE, but that can’t be the problem because all my other apps run smoothly. This app crashes and is super sluggish. Just not optimized at all. Came here to post after having my app crash 4 times in a row.
