Very easy to join games
Hard to use
Really hard to navigate the application.
Almost perfect.
My biggest issue with this app is that you can’t turn off the wait list clock over night. If someone drops out at like 1am the night before and the wait listed person is sleeping, they loose their spot. Seems like it could be an easy fix. 🤷♂️
Comps
Would love to be able to do various comps via this app on the basis of people who are joining in and grade them and put various comps together where people can put the scores and it then keeps the count and see who the winner is.

MLM with extra steps
I created a group and an account, and now they want me to PAY in order to create an EVENT. Talk about predatory app design. Tried to delete my account but they won't let me do that either. Do not download.
Helpful functionality, cumbersome design
Happy to have an app focused on organizing games, rather than relying upon generic social networking products. However, the app design leaves a lot to be desired. For example, none of the form text inputs have data validation, auto-fill support, or the ability to move focus to the next input; this makes filling out event registration forms cumbersome and repetitive. The app already knows my first name, I shouldn’t have to enter that same data each time I register for an event.
Constant preferences update request
App works well but sends weekly messages to update preferences asking me “do I want to send push notifications?” When I’ve updated that the last 15 times. Impossible to turn off. They just keep coming.
Calendar
Great way to keep accurate account of your charges, especially if an event is cancelled, your credit is automatically kept & is sitting there to be used automatically for your next booking. Very very reliable. The app is a great resource for researching events in different locations, additionally I love that it puts the event directly into your calendar.
Complicated
Hard to find a spot and a time as a first time user. Keep all options as per levels so people can find times and events that they can go to.

This app is great for pick up games or meet up with new people and play you’re favorite sports, only annoying issue is the fact that it does not keep you signed in, you have to continuously sign in. Other than that the app is awesome!

Great Management App
OpenSports is a great app for coordinating events. It works great for our soccer group. The in-app messaging component helps to avoid passing out phones numbers to a large group and connect many members together for quick updates. Looking for an option to manage in-app previous events like a swipe to delete feature would be great.
Needs an update
Good app except every time you make an order, it makes you put in all the same info over and over again. Also, you can’t make more than one order at a time. Please update.

Good app in general
No major complaints about the app. One issue that’s sort of annoying to me is the app indicates that I have a new notification, when go into the app there are no new notifications. I tried clearing all notifications, deleting and reinstalling, logging out/in. I don’t know how to clear it. Other than that the app works like it should.
No Support When It Doesn’t Work
In app instructions state ask a question if you need help. Don’t bother, you won’t get a response. I asked a question about setting up a Contact List weeks ago…no response. The app works, but needs to be better.
So far so good. Impressed with the app. Looking forward to my first session.

Unable to Unlink CC and Account
First off, this is a fantastic sports app. I’ve used it for three years with no hiccups until I had to get a new phone. Now the issue. If you sign into this app with 1 Facebook account, you CANNOT switch Facebook accounts. If you sign out, the app will prompt you to login with the exact same account. No way to switch accounts unless you wipe your phone. Yes I’ve tried deleting app data and iCloud caches. Second issue. If you directly add a credit card to your account and try to remove it, it will not allow you to do so. The account now requires 1 card at all times. Very poor security flaw. Third issue. I’ve reached out to support. No response. This app has great execution, but flawed design. I’ll gladly fix this review if the above points are addressed.
Needs some work
Two main things: 1. Receiving notifications for every single new event is exhausting, please consider a single notification indicating that there are new events added 2. There’s no good way to view membership details (passes remaining) within the app

Easy to use
I used this app in order to pay for pickup soccer on a weekly basis. Overall it’s not bad for the user (I have no experience with this app as a group owner). The website can be hard to navigate but the app is straightforward enough to use - things like managing your account details, finding groups, paying are all easily found. The one downside, and it’s a big one for me, is there is no way to remove a card/payment method once you’ve entered in the details. I’d like to see the app be updated to include this functionality. 11/11/2019 UPDATE: after their big update they still haven’t added a way to remove a card once it’s attached to your account. 4/10/2020 Update: still zero ability to remove a card from your account
Payment info in user account
For added security, please add these features jn the payment information of the user account : 1- Add the APPLE PAY option instead of credit card information for payment; 2- Add the removal of the credit card information, presently, opensports offers only the old credit card by new credit card; 3- Add the possibility the leave the payment information section completly blank, with no payment information content once a payment is done. Thank you for your help.

I really like the idea for this app, but as an individual player I'm not finding any games in my Puget Sound region. Out of curiosity I tried the Discovery feature (on the website) and were no events for almost any American or Canadian city west of Minneapolis.

Way too glitchy. Freezes often.
What is a great alternative to other apps for setting up events is turning out to be a glitchy and frozen nightmare. Does Elsa live in a castle in the app because it freezes up way too often? This makes checking in attendees for an event problematic. I would expect professional programmers to address this issue with urgency as it seems to happening weekly now. Getting to the point of telling my employer to just make a decision, search for another app, and let it go. See what I just did?
