Indispensable
I will admit to bringing my Hidrate bottle with me everywhere I go - I use a climber’s carabiner for ease of carry & clipping it to my briefcase & luggage 🤣 Without the glowing reminders on the bottle’s base & my iPhone, I do not make the effort to stay hydrated - just indispensable to me

The late update completely removee all of my bottles and settings. Plus the sync is way too slow!
Love this water bottle
This is an amazing piece of work. This water bottle keeps me on track in maintaining my health. I don’t like water at all so I skip an forget on purpose but you can’t skip with the bright light on this water bottle as my reminder.

Good but could be better
It would be nice if you could choose different colors for the sip reminders and the celebrations would also be nice if you could choose different. Sounds so you know without looking at the bottle if it’s a reminder if you met your goal or if you took a sip it also is a little laggy so updates take a little while.

Good basics. Ridiculous extra
You buy a bottle for $60 or more and everything works really well. I also appreciate that there’s an app on the Apple Watch and a widget for it: great package/combination. Slight deduction for: - it is entirely ridiculous that in the app, one can’t log a bottle of beer because that’s a type of a beverage which I would have to switch to the paid version of the app. - phone, app, and Apple Watch do provide sufficient data about today’s activity profile and temperature environment so the app could make adjustments to the daily required hydration intake goal, but it doesn’t
Annoying app
My biggest pet peeve of this bottle and app is the calibration… Every time I charge it or wash my bottle I take out the puck and every time I have to go through the app through 15 different menus just to figure out where the calibration button is… Why wouldn’t you have this option on the front? for that two stars…
Disappointed
Im a little disappointed the water bottle can’t sync automatically without opening the app first. Why can’t it run in the background? Other than that, app feels a little clunky but works for the most part.

Great app. Temperamental with Apple Health
App is great. Neat layout. Easy to read. Easy to manually add fluids. And the best feature is the algorithm which calculates how much water to drink. BUT it’s very temperamental when synchronising with Apple Health. It does show the amounts showing in Apple Health but they don’t show as logged in the top bar and don’t get recorded against the daily required intake. This is a bit annoying as it has great potential to be the main referenced app for hydration. For a paid-for app I somehow expect better.
Puck keeps falling out and device locator doesn’t work.
Customer service is slow to respond. Still waiting…
Great concept but…
I have the 30 oz Tumbler the 2.0 version. The bottle really helps me hit my water intake, I have POTS and have to drink 120oz a day, which is difficult without support. However, the syncs are constantly wrong!! I follow the instructions to the T, I recalibrate the sensor after each time I charge the battery, I always wait for the light to recognize that it has weighed the new weight when I refill. I always refill after completely empty and make sure that the sensor has time to recognize the empty bottle. However, without refilling a 30z bottle it will sync 60-80 oz. Over and over again. Huge amounts like 13.6 oz or 20.3 oz at a time! So. It’s a great concept but currently the sensors and the app sync just don’t work in real life. Disappointing for such an expensive water bottle.

Great idea but terrible design
I really hope you will update your design. Especially now with iOS 26 it looks so old I even don’t want to check it.
New phone
I got a new phone and when I set it up says already paired to another phone. Click on the bottle icon there is nothing saying to remove bottle.
Buggy
App is buggy. Every time you open the app in the morning, it will change the date to the day you created your account and show the stats from that day. You have to force restart the app every single day to get past that glitch.

No Customer Service
Can’t get any response from customer service. My bottles beep randomly throughout points of the day even though audio reminders are off. It’s driving me and my family insane
Problem with widget and Liquid Glass
If you set a widget and change your icon appearance, the widget goes pure white. Please fix, other than that - great product!
Bottle is great. App sucks
The app is terrible. It is impossible to install the firmware updates and after the 20th try to install, I can’t change my glow color, the synchs take longer and my badge on my phone for oz drunk lag in updating. Buy the bottle. Don’t expect much from the app.
Sync with Health is Broken
I also use the Larq app with a Larq bottle. I like the Hydrate bottle better but I use both. The Larq data syncs correctly. The Hydrate app doesn’t. Sometimes it syncs and reports correctly. Unfortunately most of the time it sits clocking sync with Health then reports whatever is in the Health database as negative water intake or it never completes and shows zero intake even though it shows the intake records. It’s comical really that they can’t even get the basic required functionality working reliably but at the dance time they have the gall to charge a subscription fee to add drinks other than water. That’s absolutely idiotic. Do better.
I absolutely love this bottle!
I’ve never been a water drinker, or a bottle fan. I certainly don’t own a Stanley. I bought a lined/timed bottle and it sat untouched all day. Knowing dehydration was probably the cause of my headaches and brain fog, I bought the Pro 2. I’m easily drinking 100oz a day now. The lights blinking and the beep and the watch notification are a perfect reminders to take a sip. The cup and app work flawlessly. I genuinely feel better. I would love to see a pin or favorite option on beverages. Even a way to reorder them would be helpful. I have to scroll past 5 alcohol options to get electrolytes.

So many bugs, so slow
No way to report bugs or get any support from the app. Worked great for a couple years with the Pro bottles, but the Pro2’s are SO SO SLOW to sync, don’t sync in the background (ever) and the app bugs out when adding a bottle or recalibrating. Now I have a Pro2 puck that won’t stop beeping & zero way to get support.
Needs apple health compatibility
Not bad products are good and useful app is fairly simple and has nice design just wish it would synchronize with apple health so it can log to myfitnesspal and other fitness apps as well if it was it’d be perfect
App update broke firmware update, which broke the water bottle
The most recent app update brought firmware updates with it, which cannot seem to complete - even with steps like “reset the sensor” and “manually reset the sensor”, restarting the phone, recharging the sensor, and reinstalling the app. Support offers only “search help articles” and email - despite advertising helpful US-based support.

This is the best product I’ve ever used. I love how it keeps me on track doing the right thing with the water every day and the fun colors are always neat and where I work everybody always sees it and says hey you need to take a drink of water so it’s been the best product. The best gift I’ve ever got. Thank you.
No support
Reached out to support when my sensor stopped working on 6/25 and they’ve only responded twice. No help provided and they are slow to respond if they do.

App has been great. But as of yesterday all tracking data is gone. App don’t display any of my data in the dash as soon as I log in and log out again

It’s been laggy with my older bottles now
Ever since the new update the the older bottles don’t seem to be working correctly. They’re not syncing as they should.
I don’t like water but I have to drink it!
Honestly, it’s so funny because it took technology to get me to want to drink water more. We laugh about it together but it’s helping me a lot. I am a competitive person and If there’s goals to meet I like to win and accomplish them all. I even do this at work with a my team for working out and staying active. I like this app a lot it’s pretty cool love the color options for the Glow and the sound too. Especially the FIND MY option because we forget where we leave stuff all the time. Excellent Water bottle! I have the 21oz only thing is the sound. It doesn’t always work.
Horrible support
On June 9 I submitted a support ticket via email regarding a warranty issue and have followed up every few weeks since with absolutely no response aside from the initial automated one. It’s been over a month now and if I could return the bottle at this point I would.
Features to Add
App is great but needs the following to be perfect! 1. Force Sync and detail of when last synced with the bottle - often my bottle doesn’t sync even if connected! 2. Current estimated liquid in the bottle, useful if you can’t wait for the bottle to flash it’s been refilled or to let you know if it needs to be recalibrated!
sign in with apple just broke
Sigh. Syncing just isn’t responsive anymore. I have two bottles that only sync sometimes. My spouse’s pro2 needs to be re-paired every few days. Even hard reset with paper clip only gets a couple of days of syncing. What could this be? Hidrate reached out and I retried the sign in with apple feature. Now it works. Thank you. Zero idea what’s different now. Averaging old score and new score and updating stars. (While waiting for the fix, I used my old phone that was still signed in. Now I can finally finish my transition and re-add my bottles. Very pleased about that.) Old review after 2+ years now my account is unreachable. the app just hangs and then reprompts to sign in. My three bottles are now useless. a lot of wasted money.

Someone did reach out to me and I finally got my bottle working again. I hope further updates aren’t so “buggy” because this is an excellent product when it works consistently!!

If I had to go back when I purchased 2 $100 bottles from this company who absolutely refuses to reply to my 4 emails I’ve now sent them I would have never bought them. They will not help a customer who has done nothing wrong. I just need help getting into my app since it doesn’t recognize me when I try to sign in. Do not purchase from this company you will be sorry you ever did. No customer service help whatsoever. I wrote a Better Business Bureau complaint and multiple Google Reviews. Can’t stand ignorance.

UPDATE at 1 year Love just as much as I always did. It is absolutely great, sync is as flawless as always, and with a new bottle or two, I just wish all other smart tech was this good. ORIGINAL review LOVE LOVE LOVE. The new tracking style for liquid is brilliant. This is a health app, AND device, that has genuinely been great. It’s easily fits in my life, because nothing has changed except I’m now more Hidrated. Not all health apps, devices, or habits stick as easily as this. The app - tracking drinking via the Pro or Legacy (HidrateSpark 3) bottles is utterly seamless. The technology is literally perfect. You don’t do anything, you don’t have to open the app, press any buttons, it just works. Even when the phone and bottle are not in proximity to each other, it just syncs up next time. I only wish other companies did such a good job. My only complaint is the app background is the same picture it’s been for ages. It feels dated and I’d love a more modern looks that fits with the iOS aesthetic. A small thing is the scheme of things. The bottle - I use the Legacy bottle and find it excellent. It does use a battery, but it lasts for months and months. My partner has the new Pro which is rechargeable, but doesn’t seem to last nearly as long and notifications to charge are few and far between. I love that there are spare parts for the bottle, which is important, these things are not indended to be disposable.
Tracking no longer works reliably
I used to love this bottle, but the latest app/update has made the tracking really frustrating. With the original bottle, I didn’t have to log in or even open the app for it to register my water intake. It would update automatically, which was the whole point for someone who is busy and on the go. Now I have to open or log into the app just to make sure my intake is tracked, and I’m not getting any notifications after the latest update. The app doesn’t even show up in my phone’s notification settings, so there’s no way to fix it there. The bottle itself is great, but the app and tracking experience have taken a big step backward.
Needs better watch support
Overall the app works great on the phone, but what I’d like to see is better watch support. It would be nice if the watch complication showed not just my water progress, but the green dot that shows how much you should have drank by this point in the day so I know if I’m behind my goal at a quick glance. It would also be nice if I can add drink types other than water from the watch app.
