Debit Ring
I love my Debit Ring. I would love a way to refer friends.
Awful bank
Hardly used my account and they stole $100 in account fees and closed the account. Good luck if you choose such a poor service bank. In addition they are not very modern for a digital bank. They use old offline, manual process for id validation for example. Not worth the time. You can easily find a much better bank now days.
Logging in
All of the sudden the app needs me to log in then doesn’t load no matter what. App was great before

Besides some small grammatical and textual errors, a pretty good app and banking service . I do wish the app was updated more often though and I question why external transfers are enabled after 30 days. Great responsive customer service.
Never remembers touchID
Awful app for a digital only bank. I have to log in manually every time which defeats the purpose of an app. On top of that, password managers don’t pop up in the app, but do on the mobile site in the browser. Why would anyone use this app?

The app is just plain OK. You need a more robust app that is more user-friendly.
Over a year since
I am really enjoying banking with Quontic Bank and their accompanying app is pretty user-friendly, from my experience. I have recommended this bank to others in the past.
Scammed me out of $1400
I deposited $100 to start my account. Then I wanted to transfer money to my brokerage account. So I deposited $1400. Because my account was not open for 30 days I had to do a written wire request form. The wire did not go through even after emailing my broker to check the wire was right; emailed Quontic support to make sure the wire was right. I have all emails as proof. I even sent my id and a picture of me holding my id. After all that they said the wire has to get a second approval. It should take two days. 4 Days later my account is banned AMA I can’t access any of my funds. I literally did everything right. Emailed their team and my brokers team, had all paperwork, id , everything you asked I went above and beyond and now you ban my account. Where is my money!!
Big Improvement Over Previous Version
You can rename and reorder bank accounts on the website and now they show up in the same order on the app. Visually it is nicer now also.
Not exactly the adaptive digital bank they claim
Great savings rates and rewards but not the best customer service or technology. The biggest issue is customer service is a third party, so nearly all account issues require a ticket that goes to someone actually at the bank that you can’t talk to. Notifications for purchases through the app is sporadic at best and not reliable. The app never loads properly when you tap a notification to launch the app and review the info - it will load to a help screen with no login option or way to go back, so you have to force close the app and start from scratch. Face ID never works - when you try to use it the app puts your username and password all in the same box. Logging in always requires manual intervention. Poor tracking of mobile check deposits - didn’t show in my account for three days (as pending or anything) and customer service couldn’t see it either. The response was I deposited after 4pm but there should still be transaction records to reference.
Amazing
This app is on the same level as Chase or Bank of America or even Amazon.

Much improved UI
The new app is a huge improvement. At first glance it feels natural and familiar. I can immediately access the features and information I’m looking for. Like others, I was initially frustrated with the onboarding process. However, customer support was generally responsive and I was able to link external accounts, and now my account activity is fully functional. Kudos!
The app is bad
Not to mention confusing and hard to use. If you’re just looking for a mobile bank, use Chime. It’s exponentially better
The best
This is the best bank any one can have I have no issues with my money I get it when I want it and when I need it it’s good with pay checks as well the best part of this bank is the ring I promise you it’s nothing like accidentally leaving your wallet and you have your ring on and can just Zelle the money to it the greatest life saver ever I dropped my ring from the side of my hip it landed on tile floor so it stopped working ordered a new one the process was easy and fantastic but other wise this is the bank to have on the side 💯💯⚜️
Trying hard to avoid new customers
Rejected my application because of a recent change of address. This seems like a questionable choice. People often require a new bank account after a move. Customer service was not helpful and just asked me to “try again, it may work. But if it is rejected twice, we cannot offer any service to you”.
Good
Works great with the exception of the receipts function. Also, someone left a review at the top stating that you can’t transfer out money. I can confirm that this is not the case as I can Zelle large amounts out to any account or withdraw free of charge at many atms (there’s a map that allows you to search by zip). The APY is competitive, the app just needs a little more love from the developers.

STOLE MY MONEY
A few years ago I deposited $500 with them but there was no intuitive way to make any deposits. Eventually, that account disappeared from my main account profile: I let it go thinking it was temporary because of the awful state of their app. As well as unable to do literally anything within the site or app. Lo and behold, I recently receive a notice that *I had ABANDONED my property?!? And that it was ONLY $482.71 now?!? So, they took my money, held onto it for years, and are kind of returning some of it now? If this isn’t a pyramid scheme, the. I don’t know what one is…
It does the job
The app is simple and fairly straightforward. It does the job. Some things are not so intuitive. When depositing checks you have to take the picture yourself rather than the app taking the photo.
Love this Bank, App needs improvements
I have had nothing but good experiences thus far with this online bank and the debit ring is awesome to have. The app is stable and simple but could use a few extra features. I hear a new app will be launched soon.
Don’t put your money in this bank
The UI is awful. Across the board. I was able to open a checking account, but not allowed to access any of their other financial products. To repeat another way: THEY WON’T LET ME GIVE THEM MONEY.
Bad App and Even Worse Bank
You have to initiate a transfer from an outside bank, online deposit is utter garbage and the app itself is just horrible. It has terrible UI, for the BTC checking account there is no obvious way to check your balance. At a look it was tempting to open an account but it’s just garbage and you should look elsewhere.

Very difficult bank to work with
Extraordinary how difficult this bank is to work with. After opening the account I changed my mind and wanted to close the account. I had less than $5 and the process for completing a simple address change and processing my request to close the account was the most difficult thing I’ve ever had to do at any bank EVER. Multiple layers of telephone verification questions, name, DOB, last 4 of social, when account was opened, full account number (which wasn’t available in the mobile app so I had to log in to online banking which requires username, password and two factor authentication to get). Even after providing ALL of that information to change the address the bank requires you to provide utility bill (which you wouldn’t have yet if you just moved, another banks statements showing the new address which takes days /weeks to mail to you, or drivers license with the new address which you wouldn’t have yet or the USPS mail forwarding confirmation). After sending this via the secure messaging system to the agent who just verified all of my information on the phone I then had to take a color picture of my drivers license and upload that as well via the secure messaging system in online banking. This is significantly more hoops and trouble than it’s worth and WAY more than any other bank would require. Even after all of that the agent still didn’t have the ability to change the address - they had to forward the request to another department to complete the address change which means I could even process my request to close the account. Save yourself a LOT of time and trouble and go somewhere else. I signed up with SoFi which has been an incredible experience.
Good experience
I was looking for a high interest checking account during the pandemic and I found Quontic Bank. I’ve had a good online experience and the new app has all the modern features you need. There’s a snapshot feature where you don’t have to log in to see your balance and current credit score. You get a full Vantage report along with your accounts. Very smooth and easy to navigate.
Mobile app rating (Not the bank itself)
Wow, this app is so antiquated that Jesus himself used it. Please update this app to allow more features and a better mobile banking experience. I have a plethora of ideas, just contact me.
New App Design and UX
I really like the updated and refreshed mobile app! Great job in picking a new interface to migrate to. Best thing about this bank is the pay ring! It is a conversation starter when I talk to folks about it! One thing I would like to see integrated soon is debit card control. When can we expect that functionality to be enabled in the new version?
Worst banking platform ever
I don’t understand why anyone would choose to use this bare bones platform when competitors are offering higher interest rates with no minimums or fees. The website and app are just awful to navigate and you have to call for everything.
