What people like
- Positive stories genuinely help with mental health
- Great antidote to all the bad news out there
- Content is free and has high variety
What they complain about
- Ads pop up constantly and ruin the experience
- Fake scam links try to steal your money
- App loads very slowly and feels sluggish
Good positive news app!
Like the small positive yet inspiring stories to help my mental heath! Thanks!
Good idea. Poor execution.
The news articles are good but the “this day in history” link has stopped working.
Other language options!
Please make other languages avaible in the settings! I would love to read in my native language, french. 🙏😞
Bug Problem
I love the app but now when reading a story on the app an add pops up and take you to a different site. I have tried deleting and re loading the app to no avail. I will have to delete it if this is not corrected.
Can’t open stories
This was my go to for my dose of ‘ everything is ok in the world’ but I can’t open any of the stories anymore. Great intention though.
Perfect!
This app makes me an happy!🥰
Contains scam links
Contains scam links… fake IQ tests etc that attempt to take money and lock you into hidden subscriptions.,, better off going cold turkey on the news than hoping for good feels
Iz nice
Please consider adding dark mode to the app.
Automatically launch advertising
Lastly, the app launchs an ad by itself while reading an article. I tried reinstalling the app without success. I'm completly sure my fingers was NOT on the screen and I don't have any touchscreen problem in other apps. I removed the app, it's too annoying to use it. Please update.
Ads ruined
Letters moving up and down, slow loading, annoying ads all over
Awesome
Great app! It would be even better if there was a section for the environment though, but I love reading the positivity!
Great content - slow load times
I appreciate the positive nature of the content - keep it up! However, the load times are so bad I had to remove the app.
Good news at last
High variety of content and I love that it’s free. The only reason I gave four stars is because I would happily pay a small amount for ad free content.
Positive Stories with Lots of Ads
I used to really enjoy the daily stories and positive themes. The number of ads gradually increased and began to have negative political messages. For me, this started to take away from the positivity that was created. There is an option to pay to remove the ads if interested.
Happy that I got it
I’m so glad that I got this app but I wish there were more updates.
Used to be good
Lately every page triggers adds even when just scrolling. Even doing nothing and reading a story will popup another ad!!!
Comments?
Not bad. Aside from the comments section showing a blank page despite the speech bubble showing a number, can’t complain. Mostly left leaning news articles. Slight bias.
Great app
I appreciate the concept of this app, but I get annoyed every time an ad appears when I scroll through the page.
Great app
I love this app, the stories are so meaningful and always bring a smile on my face or tear to my eye. The only thing I wish this app had was a section specifically for good news about the environment instead of just a section for animals.
Seulement en anglais!???? 😳
.... alors que 24 langues sont annoncées!? 👎
Language?
The ideal is brillant but I miss other languages. In the AppStore is written +12 languages. Mayen you can help! ? Thanks.
Annoying ad system
I like the idea of good news (though I don’t know why it has stories about diamonds selling for the highest price ever)… but popping up an ad with each and every swipe is just too distracting. Deleted app.
Brightens my day
I honestly love this app! I rarely write reviews for apps but I had to tell the world how amazing this all is. Keep up the awesome work. I will spread the word. :) I would love to have the ability to comment on a news article without signing into facebook. That is my only critic.
Nightmode
Nightmode would be awesome!
Spoilt by ads!
I cherish this app and have for years as a way to nurture my hope and counter the mainstream news and entertain my children. Recently I have noticed there are now large and strange ads appearing which really spoil the whole experience. Can you please offer a paid version so we don’t have to see the ads?
My favourite app!
I’ve never had any technical problems with it and it’s my favourite app ever! Inspires, brightens your mood and fills you up inside on the daily! Everyone should have this app on their phone!
Great to read Good News Network!
Forget about the bad news and read Good News Network! When I do it reminds me there is still hope for humanity!
Love it
Super app
