- Annoying pop-ups and ads
- Hard to save photos out
Excellent customer service
I made a mistake (long story) but their customer service walked me through everything until it was settled. I can't say enough good things about their customer service. I also have enjoyed the app. It works as it should and I'm learning more every day. Thanks!
Now charging to restore?
So easy to use and is a quick and efficient way to restore and save photos.
Still Learning
Just started. There is definitely a learning curve.
My favorite
No directions !
Happy but not happy
The app is very easy to use and making adjustments to the scanned photos is also easy, but beware. I haven’t used the app since 2025 and when I went into it the other day to scan more photos, all that I had done last year was GONE! Make sure you save your photos to somewhere off the app in the event it happens to you. I definitely will not rely on the app storing my photos in the future.
Old slides
This has made it so easy to copy old slides and save . I have hundreds and this is super easy
Very disappointed
Ive just paid for a year subscription and now every time I want to edit something it’s asking me to pay for bizarre what’s happening with Photomyne😡
Photomyne
Great to use…
Too blurry
This was very disappointing for sure! My phone takes more clear photos of my old pics. And the AI aspect did not help any of my pics unfortunately. It is creepy. It changes my loved ones eyes and faces. Not worth the money in my opinion.
Color is not right and not adjustable
Love the ability to colorize but it never gets the color right and it cannot be changed.
Reunion Photos
Helps so much doing a reunion slideshow
Expensive and hard to use
Multiple hidden charges. You cannot restore a photo in black and white, it automatically colorises black and white photos which looks awful. Not user friendly, it’s hard to choose any options when restoring. Stuck using this bad app now I’ve pays for it :(
Good scanning tool horrible restore
The restore feature in this app is plain awful. Standard AI programs such as ChatGPT and MetaAI do a far superior job. They also do it for free wherein this app does a lackluster job and charges money for it. The scan feature is great and I like that I can compartmentalization and share photos.
Direct to photo
Not easy to save scans to my computer. Even harder, if not impossible to save to other devices.
Product works but..
I have used the product, but it’s a winter project for me. Incessant adds to purchase more products or more services are a big turn off for me.
So much fun!
Take pictures to a whole new level
Disappointing
I am tired of using credits to enhance pictures and the subject looks like a complete stranger!
Great quality
Great quality, annoying pop ups when you open the app despite having the paid version. Could be better design of app
Not user friendly if you use Mac
Hours spent trying to interface pictures with Mac programs
Security Code
Code not being received after latest update. Have tried three times what gives and no it’s not sitting the junk folder either.
Great app
Easy to use and makes a big impact especially on old or blurry photos.
Too many review requests!!!
Stop with the review requests! I downloaded 1 picture and received 2 review requests in 2 minutes! It interferes with saving the pictures!
Great
Really brilliant app for bringing old photos to light.
Clunky
While there are a lot of good things to say about Photomyne, they are all overshadowed by the clunky nature of the web site and app.
Convenient
Results somewhat variable. Colourisation very artificial.
Use
Finding the best place for pictures
Paid subscription means nothing
I downloaded this app, thinking I could restore photos. I am in the trial period, but had every intention of subscribing once the trial had finished. Unfortunately, all this app allows me to do is sharpen faces and colourise black and white photos. For anything else, you have to buy Google AI credits. What is the point of paying for a one or two year subscription if you are limited in what you can do on the app? I will cancel my upcoming paid subscription at the end of the trial.
Photomyne
Love this app. Haven’t used it as much as I would like to.
Scanning if fine; restore isn’t
Restored portraits don’t look like the subject anymore
Bit of a scam
If you buy credits to repair pictures they then slap a watermark on it and want to charge a subscription to remove it. If you’re paying for credits to update pictures by AI, why are they then charging extra. Seems like double charging. Additionally if you buy the subscription, you don’t then use the AI to restore photos without paying extra and buying credits. So they’re not being totally transparent here.
Great product
This app is really good at taking my old grainy photos and making them clearer. I have been able to improve the Quality and the share ability of my priceless old photos
Terrible work flow, unintuitive
The app adequately scanned photos and showed them in the app, but importing images to my computer was extraordinarily difficult. The menus were hard to find, and at one point I was instructed to scan a QR code generated from a menu that did not exist on my Safari browser. I finally got an image that was just 900 kb or so, nowhere near what I need. I deleted the app less than 24 hours after downloading it.
Fantastic ap
I have to rate this ap because they keep bugging me to do so, which is very annoying. However, it's a very good ap and does everything it says on the box. Two things to note. Firstly there’s an AI option that is AMAZING at making old photos as new, but you only get a couple of free changes, then you have to pay. Also it can totally change people faces. Secondly the subscription rate has just doubled. I will not be renewing.
Not what it seems
The subscription is a basic software access, to get AI based enhancement you have to purchase further credits which can turn out to be expensive. It gives good results but they can vary. Not what it promises to deliver
Downloading restored photos is not intuitive
It works sometimes and not others. Very frustrating
So easy even a 65yr old man can use this app
My Father recently passed away. I found boxes of photos that were not I albums. Using Photomyne I am able to preserve, document and organize all the photos with just a few scans. I am easily frustrated with technology if it is complicated. Unbelievably simple to use.
No support
I have had a major problem with 2 accounts and I get no help solving this problem. They sent me a text to up date my account I did. I bought the membership and it is for a completely different account so all my pictures are on the other account. 2 messages for help and know response.
Very good need some additional bits
The app is very good scans easily and makes a fantastic job of sharpening and improving photos however it lacks the ability to sharpen a batch of photographs at the same time. You have to do them one by one.
Not very intuitive
Just hard work
Question
What happens after my subscription ends, do all the photos that I downloaded with the app disappear? Or can I download these photos to my iCloud?
Photomyne
Excellent App! Easy to use and great capabilities.
Don’t bother with the free subscription
I selected the option to use the free three day. Subscription to see if I like the app. The three day subscription does not work and I’m still having a copyright watermark on my photos.
Photomyne
Hard to find anything to criticise. Thanks.
Not for me
The quality is not good enough for what I want.
贵
挺好用的 贵出天际。价格真的有点虚高 被吓晕。有没有考虑优惠一些
More!
Would love to be able to produce a card or photo book straight from the App!
Try’s to trap you into forever subscription
Even after paying a ridiculous amount for a year they then make it so hard to just download your own photos. We didn’t want ai. We even have purchased the yellow app outright but the company is now making it arduously difficult to just download our own photos. Bait and switch from a once off purchase to subscription as a service then lock you out of your own photos. Criminal
Sharp
Very convenient and magical. It’s a time saving tool for Photoshop editor.
Excellent App. !!
Found Photomyne to be an easy but very efficient App.
