This app is too slow and buggy. What’s the hold up
YouTube music would get an automatic 5 stars if they could actually fix the slowness on loading on to the next screen and playing songs that’s been downloaded. On other apps if you’re music is downloaded there’s little to no wait to play those downloaded songs. And now the app crashes more frequently. It seems like this has been an issue for the longest time i dont know why maintenance are taking their sweet time. Other than that i love the variety YT music brings compared to other streaming platforms. Its just to slow and and buggy.

I love this app, like how I recommends me song like the one I listen I the list never stops, the only down side is that the liked music tends to unlike by itself I’ve notice this through out lots of song I just wish liked music wouldn’t disappear I don’t know if this make sense

Apple Watch
The Watch app needs some love, it’s laggy and doesn’t seem to work. I have uninstalled the app, factory reset the Watch and nothing .. I when the Apple Watch Ultra 3.. miss controlling the music from the watch

I have one phone that has low volume and a newer one i always played music from and now my phone i always play from is block out from using youtube? Dont just magically do stuff like that no ones paying 2 subscriptions you actually just lost one to because of that. Tried fixing for almost a week. Give up now
Best and easy to use
I have used this app for a long time now. I discovered lots of songs I enjoy so much but I could never find them on other platforms. But the excessive ads genuinely irritate me. I can not listen to one song without an ad blasting in my ear.

Every time without fail: If I play a song i'm not looking for a "mix" stop auto playing when i didn't ask for it. and you're not slick by hiding this feature on the "speed dial" function i wasn't born yesterday. fix it. i despise that you guys are constantly shoving down an algorithm at every moment. it's on par with irritating ads i want no part of. the fact that you can't block musicians or pages is beyond a minimal feature, even spotify has it. I'm constantly bombarded with Taylor Swift and no matter how many times i put NOT INTERESTED, it's not going to change anything. i don't care if you tweak my algorithm but the lack of an artist block shows that you spot care for your consumer you just care about profit.
Not Spotify. Stop becoming Spotify.
Whoever is developing this app needs unemployment if the only changes they bring are “copy Spotify” put the search bar back at the top. That change alone is blatantly stupid. If I want to refresh my quick picks, REFRESH EVERY TIME. The autoplay is a dog water dj. Oh dolly just died and you never play dubstep? Well have I curated an abysmal day for you.
I love this app!
I really like YouTube music because I'm able to listen to a lot of songs and I don't need to pay to listen to anything but for some reason I can't get the lyrics of the songs I listen to but my mom can I'm confused.

Love this app
Everything about this app is better than Apple Music. Especially the after play and algorithm. The only issue is that the pinned songs eventually disappear after a certain amount and other songs show that I never pinned.
UI needs improvement
Watching music videos on YouTube music is frustrating. It keeps switching back to the thumbnail when trying to navigate. Then I need to click out of the video back to music only and back to music video to make it work again. Basically leave your device untouched or it will screw up the interface. Also if you’re watching music videos, and the auto play chooses a song that doesn’t have a video, it switches fully to audio without ever going back to video on its own. Incredibly annoying. Removing an artist or song from my main page doesn’t do anything. It just stays there anyways until I listen to enough other artists/songs. Useless setting.
Please change back to old format
Why can’t I search artist and find songs I’ve liked? Should be this difficult and not sure why you would change it to where that’s not an option

I have premium account. Several days ago music had becoming stoped or paused with no reason. I can’t download songs on iPhone: downloading doesn’t start. Fix it please
Good if you have Premium
The only reason to use this app is if you have premium, besides that this app is so clunky and slow. Downloading and saving music is so convoluted compared to Apple Music. This app could be amazing but as it is now, it’s a joke compared to other music services. I’m sure it can be fixed and optimized, but I doubt they care.
New update isn’t great
I am/was a huge fan of the auto playlist feature on YT Music. However, they have changed the recommended song ‘algorithm’ and it not as good as it was a month ago. Please roll the changes back.

Why
Youtube music is good. But i cancelled my subscription and it said my subscription was cancelled and will end on August 28th, but it took money out of my bank anyway.

This is overall, my favorite and preferred music app. Why not five stars? No crossfade. We need that. It’s time.

Si busco una canción, deberían de poner que sean de las mismas canciones de la misma que busqué por ejemplo y pongo una bachata en búsqueda que me pongan bachata similares a la que yo busque y que le pongan subtítulos a todas las canciones porque estoy fallando por una membresía y me parece algo como pagado. Debería de ser gratis para esto de que no tiene los subtítulos de las canciones que uno escucha, y si uno los mira en videos que también puedan salir con sus tipo deberían de trabajar también a ponerle un sonido más bonito porque tiene un sonido unas canciones tiene un sonido. Otras canciones tienen otro sonido. No tienen un solo sonido con con bajo bastante sino que hay canciones que se hayan. Deberían de arreglar eso a poner un sonido más nítido, para lo que uno está pagando una mensualidad. Las canciones sin subtítulos, las hubieran de quitar poner las canciones que tienen sólo subtítulo y mantenerlas así porque para eso se paga una membresía para tener los gustos que uno necesita y que quiere porque para así canciones sin subtítulos debería de ser para las personas que no pagan membresía. Y otra cosa deberían de ser menos tiempo el que esperes por otra canción o sea con un segundo es más que suficiente para que salga la otra canción y cuando salga una canción o un álbum nuevo de un artista de de las canciones que uno más se escucha ponerla en la pantalla enfrente para escucharlo y cuando uno pone la música con letras que no se apague de la pantalla, porque si uno pone letras es porque la va a estar viendo no porque va a querer que la pantalla se ponga bloqueada con puras negras me gustaría que tuviera la opción de adelantar 10 o 15 segundos como tienen otras aplicaciones gracias que cuando estés leyendo la canción no se apague la pantalla y que vaya corriendo la canción como la estés leyendo que no se apague la pantalla y que no se quede parada en un solo lugar de la canción que siga como que la pantalla va corriendo para arriba según vas leyendo la canción o está saliendo en el momento está funcionando mucho mejor la nueva actualización, pero siempre se sigue apagando la pantalla cuando pones letras cuando pones la canción con letras ando audífonos de los buenos y me suena demasiado suave y el audífono el problema es la aplicación que está malísimo deberían de mejorar todo eso
Performance and buggy experience
Playing off downloads is a bad experience, they somehow make it drain my battery and it’s slow asl to load. They also appear to have removed the ability to see your downloads of an artist when you search for them? It’s a terrible product but it has the YouTube monopoly so it’s still a 4 star

Please… add a history menu. Lots of times the app p’ays awesome songs and bands I’d like to listen to after, but I can’t save anything because I am driving. A history menu would help a lot and improve the app massively

How can it be so bad?
With all the money that alphabet/google posses, how is it that this app is so garbage. Don’t get me wrong the actual algorithms and content in YouTube music is good, the app however is awful. Can’t even use it on CarPlay do you don’t pay for full premium? Why? I have premium pure and apparently I still can’t use it at all other than podcasts. Downloads are horrible. I live in an area where service isn’t always guaranteed, and it’s always a pain to get this to play my download songs. Again, why? Spotify does a great job.

Keeps pausing
Every time that I listen to music with premium on my downloaded music, it keeps pausing even when I have service it keeps pausing, and my phone is on the black screen when you turn it off terrible needs updated

please let me add a song to multiple playlists at once, like the normal youtube app does. right now you can only add a song to one playlist at a time. it takes like 90 seconds to search new songs. also sometimes it lags and takes long to select options for a song (play next, add to playlist, etc.)

The only problem i have been facing is when i renew the membership and try to download any audio, it is showing waiting but never actually downloading even after having a stable network. Rest everything is great. Hope it get resolved soon

Bad app, text covers music
Whenever I search for a song the text bar at the bottom always covers part of my screen and won’t go away unless I close app and reopen. Terrible programming!
Amazing app, but need some optimisations
Really good if you have youtube premium, all songs available. But one update i would request is while searching a song it should first show songs i have already listened to. It sometimes gets very tough to find a version of song you have listened, other versions just spam in.

Its an amaaazing app for music looove it but I couldnt find all the music I love just a select few songs from a couple albums- not even niche music!!!! Also you have to pay to have it playing in the background while you use your phone. meh
