Considering this is a free app without advertising, I’m impressed. The interface is clean and easy to use, there’s no mess or fluff, and I can count pulse/resps now whilst multitasking

Love this app and the new quick run widgets! A handy tool for nurses and medics. A quick tip if you find the watch face goes blank when you lower your arm you should update these settings (as at March 2025) General>Return to Clock>Set to 2 minutes Display and Brightness>Always On>Show Apps>Medtimer
Apple Watch series 10
Great app but will not open on new watch. Hope this gets fixed
Needs some work.
App has a nice interface and is fairly simple to use but lacks helpful features. A 6 second option would be nice as well as a vibration feature that goes off when the timer does, the option to change a normal HR and RR range for people working in veterinary environments, and a hands free timer only with a calculator.

i bought pro so that i could have it on it on my watch face/screen and it doesn’t work, it’s a scam don’t waste your money.
Update to watch?
I love this app and recommend it to all my coworkers! I really loved having the app on my watch as well but since I upgraded it won’t download to my new watch. I have tried everything I can think of to fix it. I Tried emailing and checking the website but kept getting error responses saying it doesn’t exist.
Used to LOVE
Has stopped working on my apple watch, I used to use it at work ALL the time, but now it shuts down every time i open it on my watch!
Cool but not reccomended
I thought this app would be cool to help me get through vitals faster on my apple watch, but when I try to take a patient’s pulse my watch vibrates as-well and it throws me off counting patients pulse.. I don’t recommend using it, I also always seem to get a inn-accurate pulse on the app than what I counted in my head.. the app always counts a pulse as too low and somehow my patient sees the screen and gets concerned due to how obvious it is that im using a app.

Thank you so much for updating this app in what seemed like a very long time, especially as the update to Watch OS had broken this app on the Apple Watch. Now able to use on my watch again which is great.

Doesn’t work install to series 9 iWatch
I would love to use this app on my iWatch but it does not install to series 9 iWatch. Hopefully it will be fixed so I can use it from my watch.

I’m a nurse and loved using this to count respirations but I can’t use it on my watch anymore. Please bring it back to Apple Watch I don’t like the idea of pulling out my phone to use the app.

Please give the 15 second timer back instead of the 10!
Please put the 15 second timer back my colleagues and I use that one the most frequent. And it’s the most accurate for us with adults patients. ): this app is 5/5 stars with the 15 second timer
Can't download to Series 9
I loved using this app, I work in labor and delivery and it makes it a breeze to count the baby's HR and RR. My series 6 watch randomly died and I upgraded to the series 9 and I am unable to get Medtimer back on the watch! Is there anything I can do?
Please fix for Apple Watch 9
Like others have said, this doesn’t work for the series 9 watch. Really hope this gets fixed because it’s such a good app!
Use it all the time!
The only gimmick I have with this app on my watch is that sometimes it’ll glitch on me. I have the Ultra 2 and there are many times that I’ll press the app button to count respirations and it’ll force close on me. After about 5-6 attempts it’ll open for me. Other than that I love it!

Need it fixed for my iwatch. Used to work fine and now it just crashes with start up :(
Unusable in currant form
Two issues. 1. Seems to be making noise even when my phone is in silent, it’s completely unnecessary for it to beep so much! I would like the option for it to be completely silent so I it doesn’t distract, 2. It would be nice to manually enter a count at the end of the time, rather than having to tap for every heart beat.

This is no longer working on my Apple Watch and it’s very useful when in patient room. The app is useless on my phone and I only got it for my Apple Watch. Please fix this!
Great App, however...
Wouldn’t it be great if it automatically added the breath rate result to Apple’s Heath App, with a time and date stamp, instead of the user having to do it manually? I’m thinking along the lines of what the ECG function on the Apple Watch does?
Distracting soundd
whilst trying to record there is an annoying tick each second. Why is there no mute option? It would be better if you could select heart rate or resps before starting then swap to the other with both results remaining on screen to enter on patient records at end of examination
Suddenly not working on Apple Watch
I loved using this for my newborn assessments. Allowed me to focus on what k was hearing vs watching the clock. It suddenly stopped working though. I even deleted and reinstalled and made sure everything was up to date. Works on the phone but won’t open on the watch. Since I can’t pull out my phone in my patient room this has made the app useless, I hope there will be a fix!

do not get if you have an apple watch series 3, won’t work :( i previously had the app with no problems, loved the app but note is incompatible with my watch.

Great app. For development a suggestion would be if it could automatically log the calculated RR then you could track the RR over time.
Sadly, a great app but can no longer install on Apple Watch
Unfortunately since recent updates this will no longer work on Apple Watch on the latest phone/watch OS. Otherwise a handy app, but don’t expect to work with your watch if this is your normal timing device.

This app is very useful for counting heart and resp rate. The one thing that I wish it had is a complication on the Apple Watch app. This way I can access it really quickly without having to fiddle with the watch.

Great app that doesn’t work
I absolutely loved this app. It was a game changer for getting neonatal VS. it recently stopped working the watch, which was the only way I ever used the app. HEY DEVs! Please fix!! This is an awesome app that makes my tedious job a little easier!!
