Mi piace molto la vostra app. Credo che l’idea di socializzare il processo di cercare appartamento sia così intuitiva, semplice ma che ahimè poteva essere sviluppata anche prima. Ne avevamo bisogno!! Potreste per caso aggiungere la funzionalità di salvare gli appartamenti all’interno di liste private nel proprio profilo? Trovo scomodo dover scrivere ogni URL di ogni camera per ricordarmelo!

But you cannot search by location or town/postcode which is surely the most obvious thing? You have to scroll and read all ads to see where they are based, they need to fix this asap
Safe but SO expensive
I’ve been using this app for over a year now and even though is one of the safest ones out there, it charges you up to 20£ to interact with people who might just ghost you after the first interaction and every other week after that is 20 more to keep interacting with people or receiving messages or 6 £ to advertise it but even like that you don’t know how many times your room has been advertised.

Room for improvement
The app is very nice and helpful but it has its mistakes as we need the procedure to go quicker.
Chat notifications are not working
I want to like this app but for some reason the chat notifications are not working. I receive nothing when landlords reach out to me. I’ve already missed out on 2 apartments because I did not know I had received a message until it was too late! There’s no option to control this in the app’s settings and I know my OS notification settings are fine. This bug has ruined my experience with this app.

The APP has a lot of potential, but does not work so well
I have tried to use Badi for the past year and a half to find quality roommates. The APP has tons of potential but it seems to me mismanaged. I paid premium for a room as a trial and there was no difference whatsoever. Not only that but I went premium with a second room and the first one went off premium and continually prompted me to pay again. I sent an email but there was never a reply. I tried to contact Badi to no avail. So I paid again but nothing ever happened. I wrote close to two hundred personalized messages to some of the recommendations Badi made but one in a hundred replied and they all booked a visit but left me waiting on the day of the visit. Also the majority of people recommended to me by Badi were not even close to what I had set up on the App. I marked very clearly I preferred single non smoking males but Badi kept sending me dozens of female smokers and couples. Also Badi sent me dozens of recommendations with pictures that contained only dogs, monkeys, sunsets, large groups of people and a few pictures that looked more like a hook up application. Today I was told I needed to upgrade the App. So I did upgrade the app and once again I lost the premium status of my two rooms and the app is asking now to pay for things that were free before updating the app today. Now it’s impossible to ignore a recommended tenant without paying 9.99 yet again! Why can’t they monitor the pictures and have more enforced guidelines? Why did I have to pay premium multiple times for the same rooms due to a glitch and why is there no customer service? Why are they now asking for more money without any improvement to the app or their services? This App could be the best app in the App Store if the management were more effective and logical.

Mid-represented in adverts
This is just another flat search app. But the advertising done on Instagram shows a girl introducing the “perfect flat mate” she found through Badi. I advert, to me was selling the App as a flat mate finder, (eg. I want to find someone to live with) but it isn’t. You can find someone to rent a spare room out to but you can’t search for flat mates unless you have a room. It’s not suitable for anyone just looking for a great person to search for a flat with, which is what the advert was suggesting it was. I think the “about me” section where you select things is great, saves you having to type it all out. But unfortunately, ultimately this was a waste of time and energy for something that’s useless to me.

Great concept, too many scammers (London)
(Used Badi in London). Love the concept of the app but there really needs to be more work done to stop scams. Almost everyone I’ve encountered has been a scammer. The majority of the people I spoke to were from the same four agencies, only telling me where they worked once I’d agreed a time to meet at their office to discuss the room of interest. Each time, I found out that the room hadn’t existed in the first place. Using Badi, they send beautiful rooms to lure you to their office, upon arrival they announce that “Every room I sent has been taken! Rooms are going so fast!” (which is later used to pressurise you into signing contracts) then offer you far lower quality rooms (completely incomparable to the ones they send online) at much greater prices, and seriously pressurise you into paying money before you can so much as view them. Unfortunately, every single person I managed to arranged to meet off the app was from one of these companies. Again I do think the app is a great idea, it could be absolutely brilliant, it’s just currently being massively misused by the majority of people on it.

Has potential, but endless scammers
I’m from London, so it may only be this area. But there is a company called Flintons, which are a scam estate agent. They post fake places with good prices. Then when you come in, they tell you the place is gone and try and get you to give them a deposit (500-700£) on another place before you’re even allowed to view anywhere. They even have a lawsuit pending against them. I know this isn’t the apps fault per se. However, this company has so many people/accounts posting so many fake properties that I have spent hours searching through places and enquiries to only have one of my enquiries to be a legitimate property. Unless Badi get on top of scammers in a better way this app is virtually useless.
Pretty great overall
My main issue is that people keep offering me a room with a twin bed & we are a couple. I wish there was also a filter for who can contact me. Otherwise it’s a waste of time deleting requests from people who’s rooms are not compatible with my needs.

This new Badi app in NYC is great! It is perfect for what we need here.
Waste of time in Barcelona
In principle it’s a good idea, but when it comes to these big cities it is a waste of time. No matter how many people you message to inquire about the rooms they post, less than 10% will reply. And there’s no way to do any follow-up. You have to wait and hope the person thinks you look good, so that then they will allow you to chat with them. They also keep allowing people to post ads looking for rooms, so only half the ads are for actual available rooms. Basically if you’re desperately looking for a room, most likely you won’t get anything. This has basically become tinder but for roomates.

Scammers Galore
This app, while sometimes useful, is a breeding ground for scammers. The user verification process is far too easy to fake, requiring only a phone number, email address and Facebook profile - all of which can be manipulated. Scammers will often deny you visits to the properties and instead demand an immediate down payment. While it is easy to spot the legitimate ads from the scammers, it is extremely annoying scrolling through waves of fake ads. My advice would be to improve the verification process. I found one account that was using a photo of the chief operating officer of Facebook, Sheryl Kara Sandberg, which was somehow verified as a legitimate account. Apps like Bumble require users to send in a short video to verify their identity. While time consuming, it will make the app far better and massively improve the verification process.

Best web to find tenant
Easy . Quick to use it. Very good web. I recommend Badi to people .Very useful. I am very happy with them . It is best web so far from my viewpoint.
Waste of time and money! Avoid!
This platform is completely useless for London, it may work in other locations but not here for sure. I had just 7 views and 0 messages on Badi, after paying for Badi plus. SpareRoom is so much better, i listed my property on it two days after on Badi and have at least 3-4 people contacting me every day. I contacted support to ask for my money back, since this is clearly not delivering any valid..according to their T&C they don’t do refunds even id they failed to deliver value..don’t bother with them, seriously…

Seems to be an app for estate agents trying to scam you. The classic “oh this really nice flat that you liked has just been taken but why don’t you come in to the office and we will find you something else”

This app has helped me find several possible tenants within a reasonable time frame. After trying a lot of different apps and websites, this app felt like it was actually trying to help me list my apartment successfully.

There are so many scammers on here!!! 100% of the people I’ve messaged about a room have been trying to scam me. I’ve reported them and nothing has been done. There’s even been a BBC documentary about one company - flintons. Badi, please do more to stop these people taking advantage of others, they shouldn’t be on your app at all.

Don’t bother waste your time if you have a room to let.
Pros Firstly, the app is well presented. It’s the right idea. This is where it ends. Cons The app is basically follows the tinder model but for flatmates. It just doesn’t really work in my eyes anyway. It seems as if the developers of the app are only after money. You cannot reply to more than one person without having to pay €9,99 extra to reply to more people. Why ask me to jump through multiple hoops to be verified then cut off the possibility of finding a flat mate. This doesn’t make sense to me. We are the people whom you rely on to make your app functional. Your business model is ruining your business model. It’s a cannibalistic approach. Nobody is going to place deposits through your app if you can’t even speak to the person who is renting the room as they have spoken to ONE PERSON previously. This app makes its name on finding the perfect flat mate. How is that possible if you’re barred from speaking to others after speaking to the first? There are lots of scammers on the application, but usually they can be found out pretty quickly but going back to the point above, you interact with one, and boom, cannot reply to a real person. The filters are too rigid. You’re either in one box or the next box. Most of the time people don’t fall into one specific category. I would continue to go on and on but I’m just bored of writing about this app, I’m just wasting my time because I’m completely sure that the developers won’t do anything to change their ways. UPDATE: they have replied saying they have changed their model, which is fine, but they still haven’t addressed the fact that they only give you one match, and when you accept, it’s some spam message and you can’t speak to anyone again.

He usado Badi dos veces para conseguir una habitación. Estoy muy atento a los problemas que tiene el app y a las mejoras que no se han hecho. En particular, creo que app de Badi pudiera hacer un matchmaking súper bueno y de manera facil. Yo quiero una habitación para mi y mi pareja. Este es un filtro súper sencillo basado en True / False. Sin embargo, recibo millares de requests de habitaciones con cama individual que no puedo simplemente borrar de la lista. Tengo que hacer dos taps para lograr el cambio. No puedo simplemente borrar. Filtrar por barrio o ubicación sería ideal. Además—si los alquileres tuvieran una forma de acreditarse—excelente. Gracias!
