Bit Of A Scam
The bidding closes so late that you cannot enjoy the perks of the airport. I cannot enjoy the priority access or the airport lounge.
Funktioniert nicht bei Umsteigeverbindung
Reise mit Condor Premium Economy von Berlin via Frankfurt nach Vancouver. Seatboost erkennt leider die gebuchte Premium Economy nicht (Zubringerflug hat diese Klasse nicht) und bietet mir sogar an ein Gebot für ein upgrade auf Premium Economy abzugeben für den Flug ab Frankfurt! Einfach schlecht das ein Transfer-Flug nicht erkannt wird. App ist wertlos wenn die vorhandene Daten inkorrekt sind.

Never any availability
I’ve bit twice now for a premium economy upgrade on Iberia long distance. Both times I was the only bidder, both times I didn’t get anything because of ‚no available seats‘. As I was the only bidder I don’t understand why this app offers an auction if there is apparently nothing available to auction.

An sich nicht schlecht, wenn man nicht darauf ausgelegt ist, unbedingt eine bestimmten Sitzplatz haben zu wollen, gerade für Langstrecke ist es nicht schlecht. UX ausbaufähig. Jedoch die Bestimmungen lesen. Interessant: kaum hatte ich meine E-Mail-Adresse eingegeben, habe ich zehn Spam Mails von der Deutschen Bank bekommen. Die E-Mail-Adresse ist sonst nirgendswo hinterlegt, außer in dieser App 🤔
Missed connection
I found the App worked great. I won the upgrade but sadly missed my connection. SeatBoost was easy to contact and prompt in returning my money. Would highly recommend them from how they treated me.
App auf Ipad nicht nutzbar
Ich kann die App auf einem Ipad nicht nutzen,weil die ganze Zeit ein blauer Kasten die linke Bildschirmseite bedeckt.Somit kann ich kein AGB Häkchen anklicken um mich mit meiner Email anzumelden. Bild drehen geht nicht,Schriftgrad auf minimum keine Veränderung.Letztes Jahr ging es noch.Geht nur noch über Handy…nie wieder Updates.Never change a running system…

No es buena opción
La subasta acaba 40 minutos antes del despegue por lo que no te sirve para facturar en busisnes ni pasar por fast track ni sala vip. Para vuelos cortos no merece la pena.

Me sale un mensaje de actualización, sin embargo, cuando entro al App-Store no me da la opción de actualizar, por tanto, tengo la versión más actual. Favor corregir.

Leider nutzlos…
Habe 3 mal fleißig mitgeboten und jedes mal hieß es nach Ablauf der Zeit, dass gar keine Plätze in den Klassen verfügbar sind. Daher nutzlos und direkt wieder gelöscht. Wenn schon eine Auktion geöffnet wird, sollte auch sichergestellt sein, dass es Plätze dafür gibt.

Ich hatte kurz vor dem Abflug mein Gebot erhöhen wollen - die App zeigte nur noch die Meldung „404“ an. Daher habe ich dann wegen wenigen Euros verloren… Der SeatBoost-Kollege am Gate wies mich dann freundlich darauf hin, dass genau an dem Abflugtag ein Update herausgekommen wäre für die App, welches ich hätte installieren müssen. - mein initiales Gebot am Vorabend hatte normal funktioniert. Zum Abschied sagte er noch „viel Glück beim nächsten mal“ …
É uma propaganda quase falsa
Apesar de o aplicativo funcionar bem, constantemente não adianta você ser o vencedor, já que a empresa alega não ter disponibilidade de assento para fazer o upgrade. O problema é que, em mais de uma ocasião, eu venci o leilão - com o lance mínimo - e empresa afirmou não ter disponibilidade para conceder o upgrade, mas ao entrar na aeronave era possível ver que havia espaço. Isso leva a crer que na realidade a empresa deseja é que você faça lance superior ao mínimo para de fato conceder o upgrade, o que não é correto, já que a ideia deveria ser que, caso haja espaço e você seja o vencedor do leilão, ainda que com lance mínimo, você recebesse o upgrade.

Plätze werden trotz ordentlichen preisen nicht vergeben, stattdessen werden Mitarbeiterinnen der Fluggesellschaft auf die plätze geroutet, die sich beim check in beschwert haben bzgl seatboost und sie haben ein recht auf Business. Mitarbeiterinnen sind wichtig aber die kundinnen zahlen das gehalt
Works pretty well!
Really does what is meant to do! I made my bid and won. Could also see other people bids as well. As a developer of apps in my opinion, the UI is a bit funky, cartoonish and for an app that sells EXECUTIVE upgrades I guess there are other ways to share the celebration and auction data. So I would say needs some improvements in this department but works without any major issues and it’s fluid. That is great. Keep up the good work.
App funktioniert aber sinnvoll?
In meinem Fall kam nach der Auktion die Information, dass es keine freien Plätze mehr gibt. Startgebot war 49€. Am Schalter auf Nachfrage 59€. Da ich der Auktion schon beigetreten war konnte ich nicht am Schalter upgraden da man sein Gebot nicht zurürckzirhen kann. Also besteht die Gefahr doppelt zu zahlen. Ich werde ab jetzt immer erst am Schalter nach einem Upgrade fragen. Wenn es am Schalter zu teuer sein sollte kann ich immernoch Seatboost checken
Dissapointing
Tried several times and while on some flights you see the plane bei by full and understand that there is in fact no seats available, on most flights i saw empty seats in premium and business and the app often gave “something went wrong” or “no available seats” or something, not even once i was able to upgrade but they willingly take my card information and i see no disclaimers about how it is being used🙈

Wow this is amazing app for upgrade seat to business class. Staff is very helpful.

Wahnsinn wie schlecht die Performance dieser App ist. Bereits mehrmals gab es das Problem, dass in der finalen Runde plötzlich stand „abgebrochen“. Das ist dieser faire Wettbewerb von dem alle reden ^^
Nettes Spiel
Ich habe gesteigert, gewonnen und nach der Auktion mitgeteilt bekommen, dass leider kein Businessclass-Platz mehr zur Verfügung stand. Wenn es nicht ernst gemeint ist, sollte man das klar als Spiel kennzeichnen oder wenn es ernst sein soll einfach die Auktion gar nicht machen oder abbrechen, wenn gar kein Platz da ist. Für den Bieter ist das Gebot verbindlich, aber für die Fluglinie nicht?
Die Idee ist nicht schlecht
An sich sehr interessant und für Nervenkitzel wird garantiert. Allerdings braucht man danach erstmal Urlaub um sich von dem Emotionalen Stress zu erholen.

I’ve had good luck with this app early on, got long-haul upgrades, but now it seems you can bid to upgrade and you don’t know if seats are even available until boarding time. I think this app should tell you if the airline has sold all the available seats and There’s nothing to bid on.

We were deceived
We were told that the upgrade was for Premium Economy, which was not. We had seats in the row 13. We paid to move three rows forward. Being fooled and very disappointed.
Price is always changing
The initial price was reasonable but I have tried it the third time this January I was shocked it changed and the Pakistani agent wasn't able to help explain atleast . I would say this is not a reliable service
Lowest Price to Get Business Class Seats Upgrade
Never expected to be able to fly business class for their really unbelievable low price to upgrade economy class seats to business. However, this only works when there are seats available. So don’t hope too much unless it is your lucky day.

Minimum bid
Maybe I’m just cheap, but minimum bid starting at $179 was just a waste of my time downloading this app. I was expecting some options in the $20-$50 range, and no minimum bid… And sure, maybe there are airlines without minimum bids, but this app was rated 4.9 stars so my expectations were high, and I was let down.

Cruel Joke
There are ads everywhere in Lisbon Airport for this app. Tried to use it on my TAP flight, was told an airline restriction prevented me from using it. I asked one of the Staff and he said it worked and didn’t care that I couldn’t bid. Useless app, why pretend it works?
