Was all about it until …
You get to a point in 2011 where you cannot continue because the inventory menu blocks the item that you need to interact with. The game is definitely one that gives you something to think about. If you’re prude, easily offended or just super critical emotionally. This game ain’t for you. I had a great play through until that glitch :(
Buggy
Starts well but then you get stuck .. conversation options to advance the game are missing, even going through a walkthrough leaves me stuck in 1992 with no options to move forward. A pity as the story and look of the game are good.
Fun and sometimes tricky
It’s a great game that follows what we expect from a point and click. Definitely covers controversial topics at times. I’d call it rated R. Translated from French, not perfect translations but it doesn’t get in the way. Great music. Good variety of puzzle types. Sometimes you can get the puzzles easily and some are tricky. Sometimes you can’t pick up an object you need because you don’t know you need it yet or you can’t use it yet. Certain conversations trigger certain objects to become useful. There’s a few walkthroughs out there to help you, some better than others. Final thought, save often (nap sack... tools... save... choose save slot.)

Either grossly sexist or clueless about how to do satire, disjointed and meaningless, bizarrely toned and poorly written, and wholly unsatisfying. Controls are irritating as well. Don’t waste you’re money.

The game was outstanding! I loved the game play and however there were some scenes, that you wish your parents wouldn’t want to see, it has a great moral nonetheless. I would love if Désiré would walk faster. ( I know many of the comments include this complaint. ) But other than that, my issues with it are just me nagging. Thank you, not only was it thought-provoking, it was real! However, if you get easily offended, and are sensitive to political and religious stances, I highly advice to; not play this game. Other than that, I can’t believe it’s free!

For some reason, whenever I click ok the interaction selection that says to offer Desire’s crush’s birthday present in her cooking area, it won’t allow myself to transfer into the dining hall compared to YouTube walkthrough

What a superb game, the piano music in the background totally and story of the game keeps you wanting to know more, and not only that play more. WHAT A STORY!!!!!

C’est une habitude que j’ai perdu sur les jeux mobile. Cette notion de sauvegarde n’est pas forcément mauvaise, juste inattendue et non indiquée. En ce qui concerne le jeux, c’est un très beau projet relativement prenant, seulement je ne suis pas allé très loin dans l’aventure (qui semble vaste) car j’ai perdu ma progression et je n’ai pas eu le courage (pour l’instant) de tout recommencer ! Belle idée, Belle histoire, Jolie bande son, Ambiance atypique/sympathique, Encore une fois, on est sur une bonne recette, qui montre le potentiel et la qualité que peuvent révéler les jeux mobiles. Bravo aux créateurs !

Not sure what to say...I played through 1992 parts. The game is made nicely. Moving around is slow. I did not get any crashes like others have reported. The story on 1992 is strange to say the least. If you are easily offended, this game is a definite no for you.

I just don't know... not suitable for kids!!!
It's a good game, but it's very easy in terms of game play and puzzles. Conversations are way too long and trying to be something they are not. The whole game didn't really go anywhere and some levels were just done for shock value I think.. maybe it's just me I found some of it a bit unnecessary. Also, a couple of mentions of things that were very below the belt I think.. too much swearing and ignoring very serious crimes going on in the story. You can't say it's a bad game but I'm not recommending it as there were no points where it wasn't obvious what to do. It was only the long drawn out conversations and long walks to each bit that made it as long as it was.

Мне довольно понравилась игра. Интересный сюжет, очень запоминающийся некоторые герои, и даже загадочные. Игра достойная и открывает глаза на то что ты не застучал не когда. Гемплей довольно обычный (простой) но это скорее плюс игры чем минус. Взаимодействие с предметами не чего сложного. Единственное от графики не чего не меняется. Я ставил и плохой и хорошую графику. Но не чего не менялось. Хотя телефон разражался быстрее. Вот это единственный - который мне больше всего не понравился. Остальное небольшие мелочи на которое не стоит обращать внимание Вообщем игра довольно интересная. Атмосфера черно-белая графика, я проникся этим, мы как бы смотрели от третего лица но глазами этого мальчика. Гемплей очень прост. От этого игра не становится не интересной. Это + игры, ведь с первых минут понятно как играть. Сюжет интересный (если конечно не пропускать все реплики персонажей) и довольно не мудрёный. Мне игра понравилась 😌Советую поиграть✌️

Good but can be confusing
I like this game a lot. Because you don't need internet connection, it's good for playing in the car or on holiday. The character, Désiré, is likeable and you're rooting for him which makes the game easier. I didn't have a problem with saving because I saw the save game button on settings but I can see why people might be confused and annoyed about the no auto-save option. Problems: If you get stuck, you have to work it out yourself. Some people might argue this is a good thing but if you really don't know what you should do next or how to get what you need, you're stuck for ages until you have a eureka moment. It would be really useful to have some hints, if a walkthrough is too much. To the reviewer who asked about the photocopy card: get the mouse from the laboratory and put it on the librarians desk. Unless you're talking about Father Fouco, in which case, somebody help because I'm stuck on that part too. Thanks!

Boring
All you do is wait for the character to walk at a snails pace, and click through a ton of boring dialogue. I deleted it after 10 min of complete boredom.

Я понимаю что возможно сюжет норм как многие пишут, но читать в каждом диалоге про геев и порно как то не придаёт желания продолжать играть, мне нравятся игры такого жанра, но если основной диалог держится на теме секса однополых, то играть становится по просту не выносимо!

This game is pretty awesome, but it crashes at chapter 1, when I'm trying to leave Bruno's room through his door, I have to go through Desire's room in order to stay in the game, and at chapter 2 when I'm trying to go back to the kitchen when the girl screams for help, and there's no other way to come back, so it's impossible to play it any further.... Please, fix this problem!!
Loved it!
I am a huge fan of point and click adventures. Being a new found lover, I really play the games available for my phone. This one was very enjoyable. It is not suited for any child, but the story and characters are intellectual and interesting. Definitely recommend.

There's a glitch and I can't get an appointment with the psychiatrist. Even tried restarting the game, uninstalling and reinstalling the app and still isn't working.
Crashes at Homeless Man
Interesting, though slow, game play. Can't get past interaction between Homeless Man and Eva. Game keeps crashing and restarting brings me back to the beginning of that scene. Please fix the game!!!

Awesome game
I love this game, the storyline, artwork and concept is very unique. I have played almost all of the point and click adventure games the App Store has to offer and this one would be in my top 10. I hope there will be sequel. My only issue was with trying to open the safe because it was at the bottom of the screen near the edge, it took a couple tries but it eventually worked, I blame my fat fingers not the developer. Other than that no issues with crashing or anything. 5 stars. Keeping my fingers crossed in hope for a sequel.

Enjoying the game to some extent. The story line is disjointed and there seems to be no clear goal or objective but once you get the gist of what is happening it is pretty easy to make the steps up as you go. No auto save which is frustrating and no hints available or even online walkthroughs so getting stuck means you could take forever figuring it out if you haven't already given up. Biggest problem is that I can't get passed the underground on the second chapter? Crashes every time I'm about to get onto the train. Serious bug and crash fixes needed.

Poncey and monotonous game
There is a lack of humour. It has the same desperate tone of dismal despair throughout. All the characters are argumentative and impose their philosophies on the player- and they go on and on and on for paragraphs. There are no endearing or witty characters or interesting plots. It is disjointed like the dialogue which only occasionally has relevance to the gameplay. One is forced to endure the dialogue in order to be able to make the next move in a puzzle, which is like forcing the buyer to read and endure the viewpoints of the creators of the game. The game wants to be deep and thought provocative but it is not. It is in many areas disgusting and disturbing for people well into their 30's so the age-group warning doesn't prepare you for that. On the whole it isn't fun to play, it isn't artistic like it pretends to be and not clever .

Thought provoking, but heavy handed and unsatisfying.
The two main faults with this game are its minimalistic interactions and an irksome narrative style: An early scene referencing a ballerina advises us a solitary clue, to revisit something again and again in the hope we might see something different, and no doubt this is the only way to progress through the game, trying every object with every possible interaction in the hope something is eventually achieved. It's incredibly frustrating, repeating the same thing again and again, expecting different results is the definition of insanity. Secondly the dialogue is unnatural, at least in the English version, the vernacular of this 12 year old boy seems to have been written with a thesaurus, or perhaps the translation is a little too on the nose, using multiple references by different characters to uncommon phrases like 'kitchen-sink philosophy'. The author tries and tries to come across as deep and insightful, however the style lacks subtlety, and it ultimately feels like having an agenda pushed on you, the protagonist turns to face the player whenever he some 'wisdom' he needs to share, it's contrived to say the least. Perhaps this is a French cultural point that doesn't translate, but characters the protagonist has just met are ready to deliver ad hoc philosophical maxims at a moment's notice, and are willing to discuss his inner turmoil at length, which distances the work further from any grounding in the real world. That isn't to say I didn't enjoy the game, there are moments when you can empathise with the character, and it raises many interesting sociopolitical topics for debate, however it needed to be done with a lighter touch and less of an established political bias (even if you agree with it). Ultimately the feeling I'm left with is one of dissatisfaction, but I don't regret playing it.
Desire crashes When I Go to the Living Room
I go to desire's brother, talk to him, and then get the scopa cards. I go to the living room and the game crashes to the home screen.
Terrible,awful game..
Masses of dull and questionable dialog about a range of unsavoury subjects in the first few minutes alone. I would ask for a refund from the App Store but I'm even embarrassed to admit that I paid for this crap. Oh, and it crashes like its the fashionable thing to do, all the time..
