Poor UI
Does not support dynamic window scaling, only support two sizes. Very much an app left in the past. Dynamic sizing would further allow this to work as a macOS app. Needs significant work.
Good functionality
But it would be better if you could choose multiple categories of questions at once - such as choosing unused and incorrect questions together instead of just one or the other.
Terrible App
This app is just so buggy it’s ridiculous, very disappointing for such an expensive service. I use it on my iPad and I have issues every time I use it. I wrote the company about it and they said “We do find that the iOS app is quite stable and rarely run into issues”, very unhelpful. I’d recommend sticking with the browser version
iPad app could be better
Can’t comment yet on quality of QBank (OBGYN resident), but I am very frustrated that the iPad app doesn’t appear to support split screen. My preferred method of studying is to have split iPad screen up with my QBank and OneNote. TruLearn allows for this and it really makes studying much more efficient. If my program hadn’t purchased Rosh for us, I’d be sticking with my TruLearn subscription.
Great Q bank
Emergency Medicine PGY-2 here. Doing this question bank is by far my favorite way to study. Great questions with concise explanations that almost make you feel like you’ve seen a patient and taken that teaching point home from a shift.
No offline capability

Great resource, can be better
Hello! I am 6 months into clinical year of PA school and find Rosh review to be incredibly useful in general for test prep. One feature I really wish existed though is questions organized by EOR topic rather than by organ system. For example, when I was trying to use Rosh to prep for my internal medicine and EM EORs, I struggled to make tests that really captured what presentations I’d be seeing in that setting. I know that a large chunk of the test will be cardiac, GI, renal, some OBGYN, but combined there are like 800 or something questions in all those categories and not all of them pertain specifically to the level of acuity I am studying for. Contrast that with my women’s health rotation where Rosh has several hundred questions specifically that all pertain to that rotation- I did better on that EOR than any other using essentially only Rosh to study. I am struggling with this problem again currently during my surgery rotation because, once again, Rosh does not have a “surgery” category of questions. Please please make this a thing before I graduate PA school haha.

Apps fine, content is bad
I don’t know what happened from 2024 to 2025 but the q bank has significantly decreased in quality. App functions fine, but the content is atrocious. Obvious AI photos and poorly written questions and non EM content.

CPNP Bank Review
Rosh Review is great! Having taken PNCB’s PNP-PC exam twice and narrowly missing a passing score (380x2), I decided to try Rosh’s PNP bank despite limited reviews for it. It is AWESOME; thorough rationales, accurate boards content questions and similar in difficulty level to the actual boards exam. Upon completion of the bank, Rosh’s predictive statistics told me I had a 97% chance of passing the exam - and I did! Thank you Rosh Review! I will be recommending the Q Bank to my friends who are soon to be sitting for their exams for sure.
Can’t seem to reuse
Why isn’t there a way to reset this app and get questions?
Some suggestions
The app is amazing. I think it would be just as great as the desktop version if we’re able to change the name of exams we create and can view the app in split screen mode.

This site has been one of the most outstanding and helpful resources I have ever found anywhere to both review for board exams and to learn a very broad expanse of medical knowledge in general. The questions and topics are truly relevant and are very board centered and extremely well thought out to educate the learner on the various questions and the entire content topic on each question from A to Z. My highest compliments and most sincere THANK YOU to Rosh review and their brilliant staff for all of the obvious work and thought that went in to produce such a “learner friendly” and productive board exam prep site! 👍👏
Not helpful for ITE
The questions and answer choices purposely try to trick you. Pathology descriptions are nebulous. The majority of correct answer choices are chosen by a minority of peers. It’s frustrating to go through questions and reading the descriptions prove to be futile. Descriptions are not helpful for learning material however seems to serve the question writer’s justification for a horribly written question. Complete garbage for the 2023-24 question set.
Good questions, app could use more features
Rosh is gold standard for questions. Would be nice to have a text size feature for older eyes.
Can’t create new exams in the app
I’ve been having trouble creating new exams on my iPad. I keep getting a message that “An unknown error has occurred. Please try again later.” I selected Tutor Modecame here only to realize that the app hasn’t been updated in about 2 years, so I’m not very optimistic that anything is going to be done about it. Not mention the fact that the Anatomy questions aren’t visible on the desktop website, so I can’t create the exam there and then take it on my iPad in the app. This app is pretty awful considering you can’t see any of your performance statistics breakdowns the way you do on the desktop version. I’ll give it a few stars because once you start a test, it works great, but what good is that if I can’t even create an exam to begin with?

App is horrendously designed. Test percentages are frequently wrong. Not customizable - tutor mode is default and if you forget to unselect then you’re stuck doing a practice set in that mode. Also no performance analytics. A 3rd grade after school tech club can design a better app.
Test Bank Errors
I have used a lot of different test banks and I find that not a lot of them are very accurate. That being said I find it annoying that we have to go to the website and toggle between test banks in order to use a different set. It can’t be done from the app. If you choose questions from the wrong set it gives an error. Please fix this.
Amazing with 2 flaws
Rosh Review is one of the best exam prep softwares but one flaw is the inability to customize the font on the app or website. Such as making letters bigger or a dark background. Also the spacing of the lines is really narrow and makes it hard to read without starting on the wrong line. BUT The biggest issue is that they don’t separate their questions based on whatever rotation you might be doing like Uworld does. My program makes me take PAEA national exams which are outlined. Uworld has their questions separated into the 7 different exams as well as topic lists such as cardiology, neurology, etc. rosh review does not. Which means I have to try to figure out which topics are relevant to my current rotation, otherwise I’m studying random topics that are not relevant immediately. Please fix this, take a page from Uworld
AG-ACNP AACN review
Definitely recommended!! Created did a great job organizing this Q bank plus it does great explaining content. Do not worry about your score. Focus on understanding content even if you had the question right. I tried board vitals q bank, Apea test prep, and Barkley review and failed by 5 point first time I took Boards. Second time I focused only on Rosh review and was impressed with how I score 20 point above my previous score! Again worth every penny!
Crashes every time I start exam
Totally unusable. What a waste of money. Not what I expected from a top rated app. Customer support has not responded to my emails.

I wish Rosh had an option to customize the questions by speciality (family med, ER, surgery, etc) to help narrow down what to know for EOR exams (PA focused review here)

Psych CAQ rosh review questions were so wordy and long. It seemed like 70% where this way. I used rosh review for the pance and LOVE it!

Best review app out there. The website version 1 best because you can highlight text in questions but you can't do that on the app if using a tablet or a phone. Money well spent overall but I will like to see that update on me app, thanks.

You cannot change the font, no night mode and no highlights in the questions. It is so uncomfortable that I never use the app
