Best App Ever!

Be extremely aware
Be aware that you will be charged before ever getting approved. You will have to scan your license, take selfies, and put in a tax id number to be approved all before you can use the service. Which, would be fine except that you’re charged up front. I paid the yearly $108 and went through all the steps, but they are refusing my business Tax ID even though this is the same one I use to file and pay my taxes. They have a strict no refund policy and now I know why. More money for them to grab. I will be reporting to all agencies I am able because this is not a service that is customer-forward at all.
Gets the job done
Sometimes features on the app make me crazy, but they do well in providing answers in how to fix. I am happy to have this app and use for my business.
Every day is a different tech problem. Good luck getting a human being to help.
The app is not user friendly at all. Dealing with tech-support, which unfortunately is way too often, is even more work and time out of your workday.

Been using it for few years now, paying about $100 a year, connection usually unstable or with delays, platform feels beta and looks the same for years

Interface easy, customer service terrible
I’ve been trying to hear back from customer service for weeks. I used the help articles to forward the main business line and make what I thought would be all the necessary changes but it’s still not working. We’ve had some restructuring in the company and are trying to change things around. I submitted a ticket over a week and a half ago and then again a few days ago. No response. Will likely be changing services soon.
Glitching constantly
In all the years I’ve used IPLUM (around 3-4) there’s several times you answer and no one can hear you on the other line at all. It seems to be happening more and more often. If the glitching wasn’t an issue I would give it a 5/5
No customer service
If I could give this a zero I would they have no customerservice don’t get this app. It’s terrible. Don’t pay for it.
Terrible
I would NOT trust these people to port your business number. Went back and forth with their vague and slow tech support via email fot a week where they could not get my business number ported even though the other carrier had released the number to them. Then refused to give refund. HARD PASS.
VOIP calls blocked
Works great for receiving texts. Calling is a mixed bag. Some businesses block callers using VOIP.
Customer service
I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere for a business phone service. Customer service consists of back and forth emails, no easy resolution to issues and no phone calls with customers.
Sometimes doesn’t connect incoming calls
It seems like 80% of the time I get an incoming call my phone doesn’t ring, but I see a missed call in the app. Sometimes, my phone will ring some time (~30 minutes) after the call was actually made.
Business necessity
I’ve been using iPlum for several years now to give me a low-cost second line for my business. It continues to get even better with updates. I highly recommend.
BEWARE IPLUM’S SERVICES
BEWARE IPLUM’S SERVICES. Despite consulting with iPlum’s customer service, I have never been able to align my business name with the actual caller ID. This is despite entering my info correctly into the iPlum system and signing up with their recommended business reference sites. Whenever I call a client from my iPlum line, my client’s caller ID line is either blank or reads "xxxx for Senate." Nothing has resolved this. It is untenable. I will cancel my iPlum contract when I identify a reliable phone system provider that easily ensures that my phone line correct caller ID provides an accurate caller ID. This is a significant professional hardship, as a change in my phone number requires revising all of my marketing materials and notifying my existing clients. AGAIN, BEWARE IPLUM’S SERVICES.

Glitchy but works after some much effort
No Customer Service
I submitted my documentation I to my text messages working three months ago and it’s still not working. However, I am starting to receive daily spam texts from different spammers. I cannot reply or report. I have reached out to customer service twice. To date, I have not heard back from anyone. I can see online that other people have the same complaint: there is no customer service. It is utterly ridiculous to be running a phone company that deals with doctors, therapists, etc., and not have customer service.
Porting-in is difficult
I tried this service to port in my number. But I couldn’t because of challanges and policies of both the companies. Rest everything was good.
Works great
I’ve been using iPlum about 3 years now for my online business. It lets me take calls on my schedule. Has voicemail with my personal message. It also gives me the ability to send and receive text messages. All of this on my cell phone without exposing my personal phone number. I was able to port my business vanity number to the service. I can’t think of anything it doesn’t give me.
Not worth the hassle
Service was mediocre at best. Paid for a year up front. I only used for a few days. Pretty sure I canceled my service. A year later I was charged for another year. Reached out to and was told they would not refund they are a small business and it is in the contract. Fine I don’t have the energy to fight it’s not worth it. It’s canceled my account. Another year goes by and I am charged again. Remembering that they would not refund last year I contacted my credit card provider. The company said. I didn’t cancel correctly. The app showed my account is disabled. Now it is on me to prove that I canceled my account.
Incoming calls
Hey guys, its a good app. However recently not able to attend incoming calls. When I pick up the call, there is utter silence and then the call disconnects. I have to call them again. Is this a known issue as its going on since last 2 weeks.

Ansicht gefällt mir die App gut. Es kommt allerdings nicht selten (2-3x die Woche im Durchschnitt) vor, dass trotz zuhause und WLAN keine Anrufe durchgestellt werden und ich regelrecht zusehen kann 7 Anrufe zu verpassen, es allerdings nicht einmal klingelt. Ich hoffe das dies bald besser funktioniert, ansonsten ist die App nämlich sehr nützlich.

Never works
iPlum has given me nothing but issues since I started using them. I have had to have them reset my service three times because it stopped working and impacted communication with my patients, and I have only been using them for a little over a month! It also took forever to even get my number on and working.
Cheap but poor Connection
I could port my existing number but the call-quality is terrible. Bluetooth regularly disconnects only on this app and their server must be busy because I can’t call out many times.

Impressed So Far
Been using the app for a while now and it has been a great experience. The interface is clean and the features are easy to use. It makes keeping track of calls and messages much easier.
No customer support
Run, don’t walk away from this app. They don’t have a dedicated customer support: just a webform that takes an “agent” 5-7 days to respond. There’s no phone to call if there’s an issue and they mention “zoom call” as an option, but they don’t offer that either. Don’t even bother with registered to text, which is the main use for this service. In addition, they are unethical and keeping a year’s worth of subscription when only used less than a week and cancelled.
Gets the job done, much room for improvement
The user interface is in desperate need of refresh and doesn’t work as nicely as other apps. It feels clunky, old, and not really designed for iPhone. The paid backup feature didn’t work for me. Maybe it’s because I subscribed after I started using the service and I had data just on my phone. Not sure. But it should have at least told me things weren’t backed up. I recently backed up, reset, and restored my phone to improve its performance. All data from iPlum was gone with no restore option. I would look elsewhere if you really want to ensure your data is not deleted. As a burner-phone type app, it works.

Exactly What I Needed
Downloaded this hoping it would simplify how I handle calls and messages, and it definitely delivered. The setup was easy and everything has worked smoothly since then.
Fraud
They tricked me, they canceled the monthly plan, but for some reason they charged me for the entire contract, and less than 24 hours after the cancellation.
