Frustrating
Had no idea what to do. Then figured out a little bit and knew I needed to jump but didn’t know how to do it. At some point the lacking jump button showed up. What’s really frustrating is it should auto save more often. Miss the last step in the sequences and get sent back to redo the whole thing again. Same thing if you exit out to resume later - have to redo the whole sequence.

Hello, I recently bought the game because my friend told me it was good, and he didn’t lie. I honestly think this game is very well built and has great graphics for a mobile game. I only played the game for a day and I beat the game which was very surprising considering how long this game has been out. I have no other problems with the game besides the fact that there are only 5 chapters in the game. I would really like to see more chapters in the future.

Интересно, но бесит.
Тот случай когда интересная история с решением годных головоломок отодвигается на второй план борьбой с неудобным управлением и тормозящей графикой. При попытке поставить графику на минимум игра вообще вылетает. И если управление это бич всех мобильных игр, то графика это очень жирный минус. Если делаете игру под устройство, нужно позаботиться чтобы она на этом устройстве работала. Крутить шейдеры с отражениями нам на ПК хватает.8

Amazingly calming game!
I really loved Fractal Space. The graphics are amazing, voice acting is very smooth and story line is interesting. If only it was more difficult! Add new chapters with more powerful traps or even enemies. Like deadly shooting traps, some parkour jumping or even AI controlled enemies. Also adding some "find the clues yourself, hidden buttons" or whatever to make it even better! Good job, otherwise! One star down for how easy it is even though I tried experimenting with the birth date (1999, 1900, 1700... ) I think it is the most difficult around 20 years old, still eas tho. Finished in 2 hours.
Difficult
Quickly becomes too difficult for those with less than fantastic reflexes. This for people with great reflexes. Not normal folks like me.
Why won't it flip?
I want to play this but I can't because of one dumb oversight. The game can't be flipped so I can hold my iPhone comfortably when earbuds are plugged in.
Awesomest game ever
I played this game in 2017 I think. It was great then and it’s even better now. I played it on my iPad first and then I played it on Steam. I emailed the developer and he emailed me back and let me play a beta test version on the computer. The developer is really nice and his game is awesome. I don’t have any issues playing and I downloaded the soundtrack because it’s good too. The graphics are rad, I think this is the best game ever. Charles, if you’re reading this, hi from Desmond.

giving it another chance
I downloaded this awhile ago, before the most recent couple of updates. I played it briefly and was extremely disappointed because of the awful controls. I couldn't believe how difficult it was to walk in a straight line, turn corners, turn around and move carefully forward and back. I've used similar control systems on other games and never had so much trouble maneuvering. I intended to delete the app but decided to wait and see if any updates fixed it. I've gotten the most recent version and will update my review if it works better. I like the graphics and it sounds like a game I could really enjoy but will delete if the controls still make the game unplayable. I also agree with other comments about the poor voice acting
Interesting but difficult
This game is for someone who doesn't mind dying many times to get through obstacles. And if you like puzzles, weird voiceovers and cool futuristic graphics. I really wanted to like this game because it seemed different and the dialog was kinda of funny and interesting. However, dying and starting an obstacle sequence over and over made me frustrated. Wish it would save more often and was easier.

Weird use of camera
Any app that asks for access to the camera without giving any clear explanation why gets 1 star from me. Deleted when I got that prompt 🤷🏼♂️
Great game
I just hate the fact that if you die at any point the whole level resets and you start right back at the beginning rather than being where you were in terms of unlocked doors etc. Plus hearing the same dialogue over and over again as well. An unnecessary extra level of frustration to a game that’s already quite frustrating enough, thanks.
If be upset if I’d had to pay for it
The voice acting seemed awkward and forced. The gameplay was boring and there was pretty much zero challenge. It took me less than a day to beat it. Two stars instead of one because it IS free.
A good game but.
A nice game but I experienced motion sickness when moving/turning left/right, slider adjustment to turns this either extremely slow or very fast, there isn't any in-between. Also controls are hit & miss, sometimes I ended up walking sideways instead of forwards.

Interesting Portal-like, not really playable
This game features a lot of voiced dialog and is very Portal-like in the gameplay. It held my interest through several chapters of play, before I gave up do to the rough controls and lack of save points. I'm only willing to do the same 5 minutes of puzzle solving so many times when the next trick, turn or door just kills me each step of the way.

Terrible graphics, along with weird narration and a bad and bad storyline that I can't even understand leads to this game being pretty bad. Would not recommend.

Don't waste your money: does NOT work
What a waste of money. App doesn't work at all. Gets stuck on a splash screen and a restart shows an exit, rate etc button on top, none of which can be pressed. How did this POS get passed through Apple for approval? Kid wasted pocket money on this 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡
Soundtrack is amazing, great voice acting
I know some have complained about the controls, I assume they are not using a control pad, because I have no issue using my steelseries controller. Controls are very smooth when played that way. Again, love the soundtrack and the voice acting, and the overall feel of the game. The dialogue between the two characters is very well done and very funny, i.e. the remarks about remembering things. Very smooth, very well executed. For reference, I am playing on a 12.9” iPad Pro, so YMMV.
Wonderful for unplayable
I enjoyed this game greatly from the moment I started playing it. It reminded me of a simpler Portal and looked great on my iPad Pro. But it crashed at a certain point and I could go no further. I left it on my iPad, waiting for an update, so that I can continue. The update arrived yesterday and, sadly, it now won't even load. If the developers get this fixed, I would highly recommend. But, until, then, it's just frustratingly taking up space.
Dude make a second one this was so fun.
