Best VPN app
Really easy to use and constantly updating IPs
Fraudulent advertising through the Apple middleman
Tried to get a refund within minutes of purchase and was denied. Most of these supposed and alleged privacy apps are blatantly falsely advertised but worse they get to deny refunds because Apple has a real problem and bias against and with privacy. Only after buying these "privacy" products that are supposed to keep people from monitoring and Filtering your network activity you receive the prompt which nullifies the very purpose of the product you are trying to purchase. "all network activity on this iPhone may be monitored and filtered" by who? It doesn't say and ask your lawyer what that means. This is the equivalent of selling someone a flying suit only to open the box in front of them and finding a little note stating "in order to use this suit you must accept that suit can not fly" and surprise, no refunds while the seller laughs in your face.
Fastest out of all of them
I’ve tried almost every major vpn. This is by far the fastest over nord, proton and Surfshark just to name a few.
App OK, but widgets don’t work.
The widgets don’t display any info or work. This has been an issue across the last few updates that had not been addressed.
PLEASE SOLVE THE ISSUE
For God sake, please solve this issue that it needs pass all the time when you use IKEV configuration and when you want to try the password, you have to wait two or three times until the password screen stays steady! PLEASE , it really sucks!!
The best VPN
Probably the best vpn I have ever used, very well priced and incredibly fast would recommend!
Until they fix the widget
This will remain at 1 star
iOS macOS apps
Hasn’t been app/security/software updates for iOS and MacOS apps in more than year, is team working on anything or is there plan to wind down support for these? Any update? getting slower and slower .. need update
Latest update broke widget
Been using TorGuard for several years and zero problems, However latest update has broken the widget. Tried uninstalling and same issue. U can’t tell if you’re online. Widget is blurred out.
Widget does not work properly
Latest update borked the Widget. iOS 18.7.3, deleted app and reinstalled, reboot, no change.
Great value
Top notch, great options VPN
Doesn’t work in China
The updated version blocks all internet connections either wi-fi or LTE. The version has many bugs which makes me wonder why they issued that update. Just to refresh a logo? But who does that? Totally unusable unfortunately. I can't use it as before. My iphone becomes a brick.
Good VPN except some errors
Good VPN except some errors which occurs in some providers
Flakey on iPad
Works okay on my Macbook but hopeless on my iPad. Every time the tablet goes to sleep the vpn stops working. This means that each time I have to go back to the app and Disconnect and Reconnect before Internet connectivity resumes through the vpn. All settings on the app as default.
Denied purchase restoration
Guys… come on… i paid for two services and twice you denied my subscription despite billing me..
Does what it says
It’s easy, reliable and fast. Puts me wherever I need to be. Great app and service. Been using it for almost 5 years and never had an issue. Customer service was very responsive and helpful when I needed assistance.
Used this for years.
I have used this app for two or three years. I used to be very happy with it. The VPN works well and the app makes it easy to use. However, as soon as my current subscription ends, I'll have to find another VPN. I also will NEVER subscribe to ANY service through Apple again. I have finally learned my lesson about paying through third parties. Anytime you have trouble they just point the finger at each other and make it nearly impossible to get what you paid for. I won't be subscribing to TorGuard because, having tried to work with their support team, I am convinced that they care very little about whether or not they provide the service for which I've already paid.
Some Problems
I'm in Canada, so I select Toronto Server (mostly) Lately, I've been unsuccessful connecting to Toronto. When that happens, I select Vancouver Lately, I've been unable to connect 100% to either of these. I'm then forced to Chicago or New York What's going on with the Servers in Toronto and Vancouver???
Easy to use; but don’t believe the 7 day trial offer
App is straight forward to use. I guess it’s fine for encrypting info, but the sites I wanted to try a VPN with recognised I was using a VPN, and I could only access content I can normally get; so no use for my needs. The cancellation process works via App Store, but you have to ask for a refund. Despite saying 7 day free trial, you pay your subscription straight away, so there is in fact no free trial via AppStore. I don’t know if this is the case with Google Play, I used another VPN that way (which had a genuine 7 day trial period). Easy to use, misleading marketing, hence low score.
Please update iphone version
I love this vpn especially because i have gotten used to it for years and have a dedicated IP service at a good date. However, the vpn sometimes doesnt load and keep spinning / connecting. Other vpns like Mullvad or Nord are so smooth and it takes 2-3 seconds to connect. For some reason, the past year TorGuard has been a bit clunky and i would have to close and restart all the time to get it to work. Unfortunately i have no choice but to cancel renewal and find something that works all the time.
Very reliable
Works every time. Great support and unbeatable pricing.
Continued to Charge after Requesting Account Deletion
I requested my account be deleted back in April, and I recently discovered that they have continued to charge my credit card. They refused to refund the two charges since my deletion request.
Great but app looses connection each day
Amazing and affordable service
Good when it works
Often difficult to connect. Once connected all good.
Good but does not work for Russia
Does not work inside Russia.
Always there
I have been using TorGuard for 8 years. Highly recommend.
Don’t buy
This vpn will sell your data to google dont do it..
Good could use improvements
I like it but the fact that it doesn’t seamlessly connect when you get back on wifi from data was a bit tedious but otherwise pretty good.
Not for me
Way too slow for my needs.
Connection error
I can’t connect with TorGuard I live in Iran and there is too much limitation on mobile data and Wi-Fi do you have any solution for this? I submit ticket on your website and you told me some solution that doesn’t solve my connection problem
Good speed
Finally a VPN that gets decent speed. You won’t get your gigbit speeds but it’s more than acceptable
Good service, Glad they added back Openvpn support
Upgraded to IOS 18 and new phone, and now the app isn’t working anymore. Whenever I try to connect, it tries to add a vpn connection config, but never succeeds and never works. The service is great! I wasn’t happy when they removed the ability to install openvpn profiles via the app, but their recent update added Openvpn support directly to the app, so that’s great! The app could use some improvement: - The Secure WiFi feature isn’t working. It stays on the VPN even when it’s on a marked secure network - There’s a second place to login with account credentials, but they don’t give any explanation as to why that’s needed. The VPN seems to work fine without it. - Should be able to configure excluded networks by adding the one you are currently connected to without having to type it in manually - Should be able to configure what networks to auto connect on without having to disconnect. - Would be nice to have an option to automatically use the vpn on any unsecured WiFi network, not just all except manually excluded. Most of these problems have been there for quite a while, so not the best in terms of support speed.
Very good but not Apple friendly for me
When turned on, perfect and great VPN experience but, for some reasons iCloud Drive, iMessage and iPhoto so syncing. They world only resume when VPN is off
Lack of voiceover accessibility
I would give this app a higher rating except the app doesn't work well with VoiceOver. For instance, I am completely unable to check the box to remember credentials when connecting to a surfer. Also, I am disappointed ios users must use open vpn if we have a dedicated ip address. That to me seems silly.
Desktop App
When connecting through the desktop app the app says not responding and it says not responding again when I disconnect and all of your stealth servers are not able to hold a connection more than 15 seconds it keeps reconnecting reshuffling but it’s not able to hold a connection you need to work on your stealth servers And especially on a 200 mbps Connection the VPN is only able to provide 30 mbps per second speed
Great
Plz update
Slow speeds
Slow transfer speeds, TCP_disconnects. The only reason I still pay is because of the socks5. But I’ll be looking into better alternatives because of all the constant problems. Yah I have to cancel, I can’t even watch 720p video now. Utter waste of money.
Really good, not perfect
I really like TorGuard however I have to remember to turn it off while I’m driving because Siri voice commands often fail for me while using the VPN. This is kind of minor however I would really like to keep it connected always. I get good speeds and there is a good selection of server locations.
Bugs and Connextion Problems
There are two annoying issues unfortunately: 1 when the vpn service is disconnected, it automatically turns itself of without any warning. It happens three or four times than it solves. Quite annoying. 2 when vpn is on, after a while; it stops all internet connection even though wifi and vpn symbols are both on and visible. When you go back to the app when this happens, it crashes.
New version not working
Really like TorGuard as a VPN but the new updated version is not working at all on my iPhone, always freezing!!!
Good
Good
Not good
Terrible in iOS - I’m not sure whether support has been abandoned or the app devs are completely incompetent, but it’s basically broken.
I recommend
Great customer service!
The update issues
This new update keeps disconnecting TorGuard
missing features
torguard has always been my go-to vpn service. They provide excellent and fast support, and they will give recommendations for settings tuned to your needs. Unfortunately, the ios version of the app lacks many features found in the computer version. That being said, it still works great and i will continue using it over other alternatives!
Best one I have used yet
Go ahead and patronize them
Frequent disconnects with ios app
The service and the Windows program are fine, but the ios app is subpar. It frequently disconnects, causing a need to go back and restart it in IOS settings. It does no good to enable “always on”, because that has a tendancy to block the log in screen when connecting to a public hotspot.
TorGuard Honest Review
I’m new to using VPNs. I did a bit of research on line and found Torguard to have some good reviews. So I decided to try it and purchased the anonymous VPN. My wifi connection speed was pretty decent with the VPN on. The application is feature-packed but the user interface can be intimidating if you’re new to VPNs, but they have an efficient customer support. Pricing is good as you can find promo codes and get 50% off or you can just ask them for a discounted rate. But you’ll have to purchase a dedicated IP address if you want to access streaming networks like Netfix, Disney plus, etc.. Unfortunately, the dedicated IP supports only one active connection at any given time. So, if you have multiple devices, like I do, I have fire TV on all my TVs, then you’ll have to get another dedicated IP, as the default VPN don’t work with streaming. Torguard though is willing to assign another dedicated IP for a free or at a discounted price if you request them.
Constant disconnects
Service is very unstable. Constant disconnections.
Please update
Frequent disconnections. Service is good when it’s stable.
