J Allan
Having extensively researched the various translations, all of which are good (short of the occult versions), I found the NASB to be the most up-to-date and accurate. The app, its convenience and quick access, has been a real blessing. Thank you!
Frequent loud adds
This app runs frequent video adds which are not even relayed to the product. More than once in church I open this app and forget to turn the sound down and a loud app goes off. The teacher is halfway through his reading before the stupid add finishes and then I’m behind.
No Chapter Names
I love this translation, however I wish you would name the Books and not have just the number of chapters listed. Also the ads are annoying and very distracting
Ads
The last book of the Bible is blocked by an ad bar. Takes away significantly from what would otherwise, be a great app.
And add every minute
How do you expect people to actually read the Bible on your app when every minute, and I’m talking every single minute, and ad pops up and starts talking over the Bible &/or covers up the verses of the Bible that I’m trying to read? It makes me not want to use your app. I have games with ads on them, but they’re about every five minutes so they allow you time to actually use the app before you get bombarded with ads and I’ve got ADD so when ads keep coming on, I close off the app. Most of the time I forget to open it back up or I get annoyed with it and just get rid of it. The narrator barely got two verses out and an ad popped up and then another minute later another ad popped up and then another minute later another ad popped up. You get my drift?
Jesus words in red
Jesus words in red?
Ads are ridiculous
Title says it all. Can’t read the bible. Minute long video ad after every page. Most of the ads are very scammy too.
Ads are too much!
The user experience is killed by the ads not only inappropriate for reading the Bible but it’s just too much that it’s annoying.
Missing Bible verses
I wanted to give this app a good review and feel it's important that we have Bible apps that are free. Unfortunately in just reading the book of Matthew I noticed several verses were missing and had to keep going back to the internet to make sense of what was missing and get the full text. Ensuring the scripture is complete is very important and this should be reviewed and looked into. Some people maybe reading these books for the first time and it's important this gets resolved so no one misses out. I will be praying this app is fixed in the near future so everyone can fully enjoy he scriptures.
The Gospel alway good
The old version was better I read a lot of them I have them mark now update everything I read it lost I don’t know where I was disappointed and you try to mark it as read again and it disappeared
Lisa K.
This truly helps make any Bible study series easier. I love the large print and the ability to research any book or chapter at the touch of a button. Thank you, I love it!
Horrible Ad Interruptions
Worst Bible app I’ve ever tried. Ads are horrible. Often, in church or Sunday School, I’m trying to keep up with Bible references. Just when I try to go find another scripture, BOOM!!! up pops the most annoying (and sometimes INAPPROPRIATE) ads. Just terrible. I paid for lifetime no ads and after several months i was forced to “update”. As a result, lost my “no ads” status.
Review
Would rather pay for APP than have pop ups. It’s off putting when you’re trying to reach God
Some flaws
Don't like the ads at the bottom. Hard to scroll all the way down. Some verses seem as though they have been inadvertently deleted. The entire text needs to be re-checked for completeness and accuracy.
NASB
It’s fine but only works in the vertical position on my ipad.
A Diamond found!
This App is super easy to read and finding scripture is also easy!
No support for Landscape
I couldn’t believe that this app only supports Portrait mode and not Landscape mode, but why?
Wrong Bible. I want the Catholic Bible not King James
Please delete the King James Bible. thank you, Judy Schell
How do I change the setting?
This app only appears in portrait view. It will not allow me to change to landscape. Very annoying.
God bless you
It is very clear easy and readable
TOXIC APP
This app is worthless. It is not allowed to work because the ad block feature blocks it from working unless you purchase it. Stay away, don’t waist your time.
Thanks.
You made a bible for us.
Ads block Revelation
The ad bar across the bottom blocks you from selecting the bottom menu option. For example: you can’t read the book of Revelation in this app because it sits behind the ad bar on the bottom of the screen and there is no way to select it. This app doesn’t come with a search option so I can’t even search a chapter/verse.
Prophet
This version is very easily understood! I’m able to visualize what i read as i continue on my studies. Thank you, God bless
Do not purchase app

Unable to open the Revelation
The book of Malachi and Revelation is being covered by the ads. Please arrange the contents insuch a way that I can open them. Thanks
Can not get last books
Adds at bottom interfear with getting to the last book so can not read revelations or Malachi can not access them
NASB translation
The truth of God’s Word never changes. Thank you✝️
The Worst Bible apps
All the NASB Bible apps are the worst apps ever made. The are just time wasters or don’t k ow what they are supposed to be doing. Should be scraped off the AppStores immediately!
The only free audiobook
This app is the only free audiobook for the new American bible on the phone or an app. The voice is British English. But it is understandable and good.
Reads Too Fast
Good Bible App But it Reads A little bit too fast and it will not allow me to adjust the Speed while it’s reading 📖 for my Blind Great GrandMother and she has a hard time understanding when it’s reading 📖 to because it reads too fast.
The greatest Bible app with The greatest Bible Translation
Everything about the app “feels right”. It is seamless. It facilitates sharing one’s faith by easy sharing of scripture/verses. I love it.
Separated verses
Why are the verses separated and apart. This is not conducive for smooth reading.
Review
I would like to see "related passages" as is available on some other sites.
A clearer version for me.
In Isaiah 49:6 certain words are capitalized making this a much clearer version for me.
Search
Can’t get a search of the new twestament to return any reults
Thoroughly modern English
Since becoming Catholic, two seasons ago, I have used the online bible from the Douay Rhiems translation which comes from old English similar to King James. Sorry but I resist using “thees and thous” So when I found this New American version, I was happy as a lark! Thank you God!
Poorly formatted
I looked up Hebrews and it wouldn’t even go to the book. I’m not impressed!
