Tech issues
I enjoy the NLT bible app while it was working, but when I logged onto the app the past week, it would shut down within five seconds and I never had that problem before. I enjoy the app but I can’t use it now.
App feature
While listening I have to keep forwarding after every chapter it doesn’t continue
Quizzes
It’s a great Bible app with simple translations and ui but I don’t think the quizzes and ads are necessary tho if you want to give quizzes it should be about faith and actually the point of the chapter you read like an actual test not to complete words
Commercials
Why you guys put commercials on this app people reading the Bible and all of a sudden you get cut off with a commercial like YouTube that’s not good why stop the word of God with a commercial..you guys messed up the app try reading it while you guys are changing it and it won’t let you read it blinks in and out it’s was so bad I couldn’t even open up the app because of you guys work on it yo put a commercial on it or whatever was going on not good take the commercials out
.
Missing verses
Bible
It’s very great and useful.
App crashes daily.
App crashes daily. Would not recommend spending any money on this app. Have to uninstall and install app daily for it to work.
This is an ok app
This app is great but the adds and THE CARDS I can’t even claim my cards!
Crashes
Has potential, but it keeps crashing. This is on my new phone with plenty of space.
Great but not sufficient
I used to use this app all the time and it was great but recently the app closes me out within 5 seconds of opening it. I’ve contacted them in which they haven’t gotten back to me.
Proverbs
The Lords first creation.
Update Error
After updating my Bible app it started malfunctioning. When you open it it closes by itself. Please fix this.
Adds
Just wish there were no adds other wise it’s great
Red letters
The words of Jesus are not in red.
It has some issues
The app is good but the adds are killing me and i cannot find a scripture but the speaker helps me read so I have it 3 stars.
Very good app and totally recommend
Very good app to read the Bible. I have a much better time reading in this app because each verse has a visible space and lines between them and the font size is perfect. No complaints from me. The reminders and the verses of the day help me stay on track. The quizzes you can take to test your memory on each chapter of the books you read help me understand how much I remember from the chapter and if I need to go back more. No ads and no distractions so I can read for hours without having to worry about a pop up or anything which is very good for me. I love this app 10/10
Missing passages on lowest fon’t
At the lowest font passages have missing text having to go and make the words bigger in font shows the whole text Please fix to the whole text on the smallest font
Bot voices
Please make the audio voices sound more realistic and less “robotic- like” otherwise good app so far but pleassse fix this
Missing verses
I’ve come across two incomplete verses in Leviticus so far. In reading other reviews it sounds like that’s an issue in other books of the Bible as well.
Scriptures are cut off
This is a great app and I love the fill in the blank quiz to help with scripture memorization. However, a lot on scriptures are incomplete. Hebrews 10:23 is one for example. There are some in the book of proverbs as well. I’ve had to download another Bible app so I can read the full text. Please fix this.
Keep me up on my reading
I have a hard time staying focused on my reading, but reading through this app with the quizzes at the end Keri’s me focused. I love this app.
Why are there versus missing?
I have found four different chapters in the New Testament that are totally blank. Why??
Blank spaces
There are blank spaces and incomplete informations in some chapters but the translations are understandable
Not too helpful
Need fix to keep track of reading without glitching and quiz at the end of each chapter.
NLT BIBLE
Very easy to understand and work with
Missing Bible verses
As I'm reading Matthew I see missing Bible verses! You see the number and it has nothing there! Then it cuts off the Bible verses and don't finish the full verse! I love that it keeps track of how much you read and how you can keep notes but it's not worth having when it's taking out important scriptures!!!!!
My rating on this app :>
Hi I'm a teen Christian and came to this app to better understand the word of God. This app is basically great, there's even quiz that you can take on the chapter you just read. If you are a beginner and want to better understand the Bible, this app is definitely for you. May God bless you all in Jesus name amen 🙏🩷 I'd just like to point something out to the people who wrote Matthew 17:21, there's no verse there :/ plz add the verse
I do not like this app!!
I like to read my paper nlt bible while an app reads to me, the audio on this is so AI! It’s hard to listen too!! The words don’t match either, Is this the nlt or no?
Doesn’t have certain abilities
I wish I could send more than one verse at a time to a person
Falls Short
This app does not allow you to just read the Bible past whatever one chapter you chose. It is difficult to get to the next chapter. The ads are absolutely maddening and take much effort to remove to get back to your Bible reading.
Not NLT
I just read the book of proverbs, it was king james instead
Relatable!
Easy to read and understand.
Not NLT text
The text in this bible is not exactly the same as the original NLT bible. It should not claim to be the NLT bible.
Ugh
I am very disappointed with the ads in this app. Even though it is a great Bible app I will be deleting it. I can not stand the ads or the content of the ads
Bible App
I love this app. Easily find the scripture as I read my daily devotionals. Recommended to my Sunday School class members….we are in our 70s. The teacher replied she was already using it!
I’m Not satisfied!
I’m not able to move from one chapter to another easily. It’s freezing after each chapter, it doesn’t continue after a chapter finishes, if I am in another room I have to move to start the other chapter.
Feedback
I strongly disagree with advertising being with a Bible app bc of the distraction factor but in addition much of it was Very inappropriate & not God-honoring.
I love this Bible app!
This is a great Bible app. You can set a time in the day for it to give you and Bible verse. It’s also a lot easier to understand than a KJV of the Bible!
It’s the KJV version
I was very disappointed to take the time to download this app and listen to it for some time, only to find out it’s not the new living translation, but rather it’s the king James version
