So thankful
I would be lost (and hungry) without Foodmandu. On those nights when I am tired and don’t have the energy to cook, It is lovely to be able to open the app and order food. Usually it arrives within 45 minutes. I really like being able to see the progress of my order in the app. I know exactly when I should be outside waiting for the driver.

PAYMENT SYSTEM IS A JOKE — OR WORSE, A DATA TRAP
I tried ordering food for my family living abroad — a simple, heartfelt gesture — and this app turned it into a nightmare. I entered 5 different debit and credit cards. FIVE. Every single one was declined with zero explanation. No error code, no support, nothing. At that point, the question stops being “why doesn’t this work” and starts being “why does this app keep asking me to try another card?” It feels less like a food delivery app and more like a card skimmer dressed up with a nice UI. I’m not saying that’s what it is — but when a legitimate app fails this badly at payments, it’s impossible not to wonder. It’s 2026. Apple Pay has existed for over a decade. Google Pay too. Every half-decent food app on the market supports them. Foodmandu doesn’t. Instead, they make you manually punch in card after card into a system that apparently can’t process any of them. That’s not a minor inconvenience — that’s a serious security concern and a complete failure of basic product development. I never got to feed my loved ones. I wasted an hour of my time and potentially exposed multiple cards to a broken or unsafe system. Fix your payment infrastructure. Add Apple Pay. Add Google Pay. Or shut the app down until you can handle people’s financial data responsibly. This is embarrassing for 2026.
Veg and Non-veg tag
The app overview is nice and convenient but the tag for veg and non-veg food must be there for easier identification. You can also add complete view menu for veg and non-veg food which would help the customer to view only veg options and a red or green tag against the product will be more convenient.
iOS app issue
At present the iOS app is not working invalid_grant : Bad request error is showing

2 hours later… still no food Foodmandu said “30 more minutes” — for the 3rd time At this point, I think my rider stopped for a mid-life reflection Maybe time to partner up with ride-sharing apps for faster delivery? Because my hunger has officially evolved into a new emotion.
No Late Night Delivery
Food delivery closes by 9-10 pm in every restaurants which I don’t like much, they need to extend their ordering time to 12 am for some restaurants . Please consider this👍 Except this everything is besttttt Customer service is hands down best in terms of any online platform I can have option of delivering food at specific time, if i need food by 8 pm I can place order at anytime They have options to confirm order by phone too, its might not be needed to everyone but its good to get response Delivery charge depends upon distance Rs 20/km unlike pathao which charges Rs 199 even for nearest resturant

The app used to be super convenient but lately it doesn’t work properly on iOS and I have to go through the website so it makes the app useless

It’s a disappointment every time
I ordered from a restaurant 9 minutes ride away from home and it took me well over one and half hour . They don’t show you estimated time and the support team is not well prepared . Everytime I order from Foodmandu, they always get my location wrong for some reason and the rider is mad at me . The app cannot get the right location . Good selection of restaurants but awful service .
Part of my lifestyle
I live in overseas and whenever I wanna send food to my family in Nepal , foodmandu is the best medium. Never disappointed always on time. Last year during Father’s Day it was late delivery may be because of huge demand but this year’s Father’s Day I received my food on time so thank you Foodmandu.
Please don’t get this app
First of all the app does not get debugged or updated often enough. It is always crashing and the food is never delivered on time. So don’t even bother honestly so disappointing man
Driver Reviews
Many drivers either do great work or really terrible work. It would great for us to be able to rate drivers on the app. That way management knows how their employees are doing.

App doesn’t work properly , auto paid through esewa and order was not visible had to email them for one pizza and took 2 hours.

Has not accepted credit card for a few months now
I loved how I used to be able to use my credit card on this app. However, for about 6 months now, I keep getting an error message saying my credit card could not be processed. I tried multiple cards, but the same issue arises. Please fix this problem.
Poor management
This is the only game in town, but they have remarkably poor management. Listings and opening times are frequently wrong. They make you post detailed maps and instructions but driver still usually can’t find your place.

Excessive Phone Calls and Texting
Foodmandu operators cannot grasp the concept of “Do Not Contact Me” over minor issues. Remaze Rama felt the need to call twice and send a WhatsApp message with no content for 40 minutes just to tell me my order would arrive after 11:45AM- which the app already tells me.

Smelled bad
I ordered paper masala dosa and crispy corn. The paper dosa was ok but accompanying vegetable ( potato mixed) smelted bad and also it was very sour as if it was fermented. The coconut chutney was kind of liquid. The samber had no taste at all. The corn was ok but not crispy as it was written in the menus.

They have to fine tune the app scheduling of the riders. Customer sevice is harrassing customers after each bad review made. The survey is our right of judgement they should rather work in improving the service rather they harass customers by callin them . Order time was delayed by more that hours . And restaurants can do what they want if we complain about special requests they will come back saying restaurant said this is what we get . Its already made. Imwhy have the special request then . Let them put served as it is. Still the customer service is adamant about calling customers . If i could i would give 0 star

Ordering is a hassle, and I’ve had to email management every time I’ve wanted to place an order. After I finally received my most recent order, it was missing the main course. I found out later via email that the restaurant did not have the ingredients to make my food. Foodmandu decided to email me, rather than call, so I couldn’t change my order. I was disappointed with my food and with foodmandu.
