NOT Kid Friendly
As someone who played this game almost 10 years ago, this was a fantastic game when I started playing. It was a fun take on a monster turn based strategy game. It did become more time consuming to evolve monsters towards the endgame and took a break for a few years. Now I come back to pop ups of basically naked anime girls and all of the featured “monsters” are highly sexualized half naked women. This game had potential but I won’t play something that supports misogyny and the idea that women are objects. The 9+ rating is a lie, it should be 17+. Not ever playing this again.
I mean.. THE WOMEN. Why?
This is a great and creative game with amazing music and art styles, but as the title suggests, it is really unnecessary to put really…uhh… bare women into a 9 plus game. Imagine a 9 year old just going to App Store to find a game like Pokémon and when they progress further, it’s just basically naked women in weird ahh poses. To make it worse, all of them start off as KIDS. So when you try to evolve them, you just get flashed! Also, these are the strongest mythical in the game, meaning the goal is to get them. Man I wish I could give this a 5 star. P.S. While scrolling through reviews, I saw a nine year old actually complaining about this problem, meaning that they probably thought that it WAS a Pokémon like game but then just saw…that.
Bruh change the app icon please
They just changed the app icon to an anime girl, which makes the app look hella sus. I was just air playing my phone on my TV and my friend group saw this app on my Home Screen and roasted the hell out of me. This app is no longer on my Home Screen and I probably play it less because of it. This is also coming from a lvl 250+ player who has spent money on the game.
This game has lost the plot
Mythic monsters have destroyed the strategic element, so they create lower monsters that work in tandem to combat the crazy, often way too powerful mythics. And now there’s a really stupid amount of monsters that require a very specific way to kill them and if you don’t have that one move that you need to kill that insane fully awakened mythic someone bought on the first day it came out. I don’t get the purpose of giving the most powerful monsters low TU killing moves, unbreakable shields, plus some other revival or disabling passive. What are we even doing……

Just a quick cash grabbing gooner game that will requre a lot of $$$ if you wan't to be a decent player. Even if you don't, prepare to see inappropriate content for a "pvp" battle game, as the best "monsters" are girls 18+ with ridiculous animations. Don't waste you time or get caught playing this filthy game.

I’ve been playing for like…3 years I think and this game is pretty fun but the way you awaken mythic sucks so much i feel like they should chant it to 3 different battles that you have to do in order to awaken a mythic or something to make it better as I’m f2p it’s hard to save up gems since everything looks so appealing and I feel like I HAVE to get it which ends up with me being broke overall this game is good but fix the issues and cut down on the gooner mythic models their annoying

Another Miserable Attempt To Surpass Pokémon
Sorry, but with the sheer amount of characters with breasts and guns, and sheer lack of nice Pokémon designs like Chandelure, I just can’t seem to get myself to care for this game. Go help Pokémon instead, they’re at a low point….okay, this game isn’t nessecarily bad, but it isn’t good. Pokémon is still far better. Also, can you please redo the sound effect involved in moves such as Death Roulette, so it isn’t the most horrifying thing I’ve heard in my life?
Neo monster good game if you want strategy monsters to look at.
Been a lover for strategic games and this one certainly hits a good spot for me although my only complaint is sometimes when you’ve done everything to get gems and don’t get anything good from multiple rolls of 10x hatches gets annoying besides that overall great game.
Borderline Unwinnable
I was having a lot of fun with this game until I noticed a trend. In the training dojo they set you up for failure. They typically one hit kill your team, and when they don’t one hit kill your team, you’re waiting to make the game winning power play and suddenly the enemy is going three times in a row with one character and you’ve been wiped out ten seconds into the training mission.
More missions. Storylines. Evolutions….something. It’s like you’re making this game for simps.

Ok so i have one complaint…. BRO THEY NEED TO NERF THE ENEMIES. Like it’s not just “ the enemy is hard to beat” no, like it’s not fair…. For example, i have a monster that its max health is 4000. But an enemy has the same one but its has 20000. Like im fine if the opponent has a strong monster but don’t make them have extra buffed monsters. It feels very unfair.

It’s alright, but Dragon Island Blue and Hunter Island were MUCH better. Make gems easier to get, and make in-app purchases less in your face in your game which costs money to play in the first place. Also, stop making all the strong monsters into anime women, nobody here wants that. If we wanted that, we’d be playing Evertale and not a game marketed as ‘Neo Monsters Dragon Tamer.’ We want big powerful dragons, not random Japanese schoolgirls.

Aged like Milk
I’ve played on and off for 6+ years now. I really really enjoyed Neo monsters, the story, the art & designs of the monsters, making my own team however it has changed a lot now. I’m not sure if it was taken over or what but it’s just filled with soft Hentai. Every time there’s a new “monster” it’s the same over exaggerated Japanese girl. It really is a fall from grace. Regardless of its down spiral, i will always think of it fondly for its previous creativity and genuinely has been fun to play.

Constant summoning glitch
Just made it on to chapter 7 and each time I beat a monster they seem to get re-summoned and the cycle has no end. Constantly tried different methods but it doesn’t work and every point just seems impossible.
