good game！
I really enjoy this game, and I love its art style. It reminds me of many great games, and it's a great work itself. However, the game doesn't feel very friendly to new players. The progression system is overly complicated. Even though there are plenty of resources given as gifts, the投入 required to build a proper team is way too high compared to what you get, which makes it hard for many people to keep playing. I hope the developers can create more new-player-friendly events. If they do, I'll definitely introduce more friends to join the game.

i used to be a long player
I used to play this game a long time ago mostly during middle school and I decided to download it again to check out what was going on in this game, to say the least I got a huge wave of nostalgia and felt happy playing this again. But the reason why I can’t give it full stars is because of the new character designs. most are okay but a few look really odd like Eliza or very detailed characters which isn’t bad but I loved the simple designs this game had. It looks weird seeing the new characters because theyre so offputting to look at. Few characters I DO think has really good models are Aesir, Somnus, Daphne, Canariah, Nalakuvara, Yukina, Huah, Ariana, Van Helsing, and of course our original Horan. The reason why I think these are good is because they’re simple but also have a lot of details to them that don’t look offputting. Most of the new humanoid astromons in this game look very offputting like Halloween bride Spooky, Hannya and even the men. This game should’ve stuck with more cutesy and simple models as it fits the aesthetic and also isn’t too much on the eyes. I don’t think I would be able to play much longer if the newer characters continue to look like uncanny valley vibes.
Disappointed
I do not recommend playing this game. The fact that they haven’t done anything about nerfing Dark Persephone is ridiculous. Even if you have a well built team, she can completely wipe them out. If you’re playing in the special league, players cheap out by hiding her. The developers choose to be oblivious by the fact that she BREAKS PvP. Until they actually do something about it, 2 stars. Disappointed.

Familiar style to a game I like…
MSL is a good game, good graphics, nice astromon, but I can’t help but point out that some parts of this game is similar to a game I love, which is cookie run kingdom! And obviously it’s also similar to Pokémon. But regardless, this game is great and is very fun! 100% recommend!
My progress got reset
I had it for five to six years and just today all my progress got reset back to zero now I got to start over so I’m just deleting my app and never playing ever again
Not working
The game is not working. It keeps me on the loading screen at 87% and it stays like that. :(((
Cash Cow
26.99. A month just to skip commercials it starts out slow most purchases are not mandatory. They lure you in and then it just gets more expensive can’t compete without constant purchases. 26.99 for 15 days sorry not a month with no commercials!!!! And the commercials are like 2 minutes long. Not to mention they make you wait 30 minutes between commercials and there are 15-20 commercials to watch so after gaming about an hour and a half of commercials you can play for 5 minutes before your again out of resources!! Horrible culture money grubbing not user friendly at all! This game encapsulates everything wrong with games in our society. I never thought this would happen but recently they limited commercials to 30 seconds which makes it much more reasonable so upping 1 star now if they would take them out or reduce cost of skipping more reasonable I may actually be back. Still a change for the better nothing to scoff at!

The bomb
Its like summoners but reminds me a lil bit of pokemon, constant rewards and very addictive, lots of creatures to collect and the prize system rocks
Needs a MAJOR UI/Graphics update
This game is so visually outdated the UI is clunky and slow and quite ugly please invest some money into some decent graphics game still looks the same as 9 years ago. Honestly it’s just mot worth spending on a game that looks like a mess.
Review
Would I recommend this game? For the most part, yes. It’s fun, and I like collecting “monsters” and the necessary gold, gems, and materials to either evolve or gain better stats for each monster. I have been playing this game since the first year it came out, so I have seen how much this game has grown into where it is now. They have certainly gone into the right direction with giving F2P players opportunities to obtain 5 star monsters. Every week there is an event going on which is nice. I don’t mind how the ads are placed in this game to gain different rewards. Two of the best features they’ve added are sweep and a higher auto battle to 50. However, I think the worst part of this game is PVP. I disagree with some people that this is not P2W. There are many players that DO spend a lot of money in this game to get ahead, specifically for PVP. The higher you rank, you will see the P2W players. My biggest gripe is that they need to nerf Dark Persephone. She is too OP and makes this mode very unbalanced, especially when you have certain players ($$$) that have 3-4 of them in their lineup. PVP needs to be reworked in a way that is more balanced and less repetitive in the sense of the teams you’re fighting. There’s hardly any variation. I feel like they should add certain rules or special event PVP modes, such as having one day where it’s water vs. water monsters. Like the dimensional defense where a different day is a different element. Overall, it’s a GOOD game. It’s fun for casual play. It’s grindy, but in a good way. What they do best is that they give a lot of rewards and events that keep you engaged, so you always feel like you’re progressing even if you’re not spending money.
Crashes when I load in
I was trying to get back into the game but it completely crashes when I load in.
Update issues
So, I have been playing this game for a long time now, since close to launch. I took a short break from playing, and now there’s been a major update that is suddenly requiring me to allow the app tracking before it will let me log in regardless of what log in method I use. I am NOT happy about this being forced on me - it should be my choice! >:( Also, I read the privacy policy- why do you need to access the photos on my phone? There’s nothing there for you, so stop, it’s creepy and not okay! >:| Thanks for replying, but your response didn’t really make me feel any better. I mean, I already have a Game Centre account that I have used to long into the game for years now, which I feel should be enough. Just saying “trust me with your personal info” doesn’t really inspire that trust when you’re demanding that I turn on personalized tracking in my phone’s setting just to play a game I’ve played for EIGHT YEARS already. It makes me sad that it’s suddenly come to this :( Also, this still doesn’t tell me why you need access to my photos….
Exciting and F2P Friendly
I want to say the combat system(s) are the most fun and balanced in any online/gacha game I’ve played. Characters I’ve had since I was a child are still valid today, and new upgrade systems provide a way to make any of your favorite viable. There is always something that you can do, so I don’t get bored even after clearing the story content. The clan system rewards frequent playing and diversified teams— PVP is great for focusing on a select few characters. If you have a specific pull in mind, it is definitely possible to guarantee a summon from free currency alone. I love that power creep isn’t really an issue, so I don’t feel penalized when life gets a little too busy to game. I came back after 2 years, and despite new content, my old team still held up and could be further upgraded. Worth a try for both casuals or sweatier players.
Victim of Encrapification
They removed the old system that allowed you to spend hours of active and inactive playtime to farm game resources such as energy, gold, & astrogems. They added more and more things you need to spend resources on and limited your ability to farm resources which used to be time consuming. But it was worth it, valuable, and fun. And enabled you to somewhat compete with the whales. You used to be able to repeat the quest for astrogems, the premium currency, an unlimited amount of times. Now they cap you at 24 times a week. Which is not a lot of resources. Will not be returning to this game until this is reversed. I’ve spent hundreds of dollars in this game because I love it and it’s a lot of fun. I have the cherry blossom ship. But I refuse to continue this game in this state.
can’t log back in :(
i’ve played MSL for so long, but lately i haven’t been able to sign back in. i’ve been able to log in with game center and apple id but ive been logged in with facebook so these accounts are super far behind. it keeps popping up with an alert that says “allow tracking permissions” and i’ve scoured the settings app trying to figure out with this means but i can’t. help :(
I cannot log in
Hello I usually use my Facebook to login but as of recently I can’t because it needs to track my location but when I open settings there isn’t even one to allow tracking so I have no way of logging in. I shouldn’t need to let you guys track my location anyways to play a game.
They need a report button for clans.
The game overall is alright, though it is definitely by far from a roleplaying game. As for the title, I have been told of a certain clan that is extremely abusive towards newer players when they join their clan. Didn’t think much of it till I saw one of them tell a random user to kill themselves. Not to mention when I politely asked to be removed from clan cause I didn’t fit what their clan wanted they showed signs that they were talking poorly about me through the clan chat without making it too obvious. Would love to see a report button for clans or have at least leader and co leaders from Frozen removed permanently. Also your customer support button only shows me a white screen.

I noticed that this game is super fun and really amazing! I miss the old MSL when there used to be role players and it seems I’m the only one who likes to roleplay. I had a plan to review every gacha game on this site and this one is actually suprisingly good. Basically Pokemon esc gacha with less scummy micro transactions for a gacha game and good playability.

Really Good for my autism
A turn based gacha game with predictable monsters and events. The in-game purchase prices are sky high and you have to pay for more storage… in a collection game…. It’s ludicrous but I pay for it and keep playing :(
My review
They should make it easier for non paying people to get those 5star mons. And to complete the guide I think a trading system would make the game so much funnier and help the non paying members catchup. Otherwise I love this game! I’ve been playing this since it came out.
Wasted wish list ticket
Used a wish list ticket. Caused the game to crash. Didn’t get my summons and the ticket was wasted.
Astromon reviews
Great game, I love it, but you need to do something about the reviews. Some people post some really inappropriate stuff on there. Also, the story mode is really easy because you can get over leveled easily, so it gets kind of boring. Outside of that, it is an amazing game.
Freezes and crashes
I have been playing this game for so long and I loved it ever since but now whenever I try to play at the start the game completely froze my screen flickers a lot then completely crashes and boots me out I’m sorry but can you do something to fix it I want to play once more

Clan auto-battle bug
So my game froze on two separate occasions while I was in the middle of winning both battles. I am using an iPhone 15 so I know it’s not the device. The only feature that was working was chat, it’s very frustrating when you’re trying to take the game app seriously & when you’re a paying customer.

Love this game, been playing for years! But when I bought the hannya primo astronom summon ticket and went to use it, it froze my screen so I exited out the app. When I opened it again I did not receive any astromons but the ticket was already used. I tried exiting again but I still don’t see that I received astromons!
Losing player base.
The game is good overall but in order to get some important in game rewards you need to watch ads. These ads are going for a minute + . I am not going to waste my game time watching ads and the devs have too mony rewards behind this ad wall. So i am done.

I love this game and have played for a very long time, but I am unable to log into my account that has a lot of data. When I started the game, I had made an account with Facebook and I am now unable to sign into my account with my Facebook. I have tried everything I can think of and nothing has worked so I suggest not logging in with a Facebook if it lets you because most likely it will lock you out and take all of your hard work Aside from that issue. It’s a very good game if this can be solved, please reach out.

5stars My friends play this and we love to play it for hours I know some iPads or phones are old and the app takes long to download but here’s a trick go out of the app when it is downloading and go back in and I should go from 400 to 300 for downloading trust me it works!!!
Plz Fix things
I love this game, been playing it for YEARS and yet I’ve encountered the recent issue where if I want to unlock an astromon it tells me that u can’t cause its on either the league defense or the clan defense, when I have it on neither. Tried contacting support but only appears a while page with feathers falling and nothing else. I don’t want to stop playing, but what good is the game if it glitches this bad to the point you’re unable to play it properly or even evolve it?

Amazing game
Quite honestly the best iOS or android game I’ve ever played. The developers are constantly listening to its players and introducing new content. It is NOT pay to win and any content can be had with enough time put in (granted you won’t be #1 at the game anytime soon, but even whales have to learn how to swim).

Small issue with logging on
I love this game and have been playing for well over 5 or 6 years. Recently I tried to log into the game and I’m having no luck when logging in. It sits at the Home Screen every time I try to log on and when I try to click another log in method there is no response at all?
The ad in this game gotten worst
So to get bonus in this game you have to watch ads. That is fine, what’s not fine is after watching the ads they make us wait 13 more sec for nothing! I don’t have all day to waste on this game already it takes many of my hours. This extra punishment wants me to quit the game.
Overly Expensive
Everything about this game is amazing except for the price of permanent items, especially ships. If you want me to spend my hard earned cash, dangle it for a low cost. $45 for a ship is not worth it. I can buy 2-3 well made pc games for that price! But now if it was $15-$20, id prob buy! Its a cute game and i would love to support it! Just half 100$ is a bit overkill
