Package smells like cigarettes
I’ve been using Yami for nine straight years and this is the last time I will ever use it. The package came with a strong smell of cigarettes which is very concerning since they sell food mainly. Besides my phone received multiple scam calls in mandarin one day after I placed this order. So no, I will not use their services again.

First time using the app it took off half my order even though it was in stock before you purchase a food or drink look up the ingredients cause it’s not always accurate I chose a low sugar drinks they ended up being high sugar or zero sugar drinks and high sugar when I say high sugar I mean 50- 100 grams
Amazing
The prices are amazing, the customer support is quick and reliable, they helped me with an order a while back they responded within the day. Also the products are vast I primarily get snacks but the candles are pretty great well
NOT EASY RETURN
Do not believe the "easy return" claim advertised by this app. The actual process is incredibly frustrating and designed to make getting a refund nearly impossible. Customer service takes far too long to respond and just repeats the same unhelpful scripts. Treat everything you buy here as final sale.

Keep delivering products close to their expiration dates
I purchased dry goods, sauces, seasonings, etc, but many of them were already six months to even a year old. This was not disclosed or indicated at the time of the purchase.
I love Yami
I’ve been using Yami for years, my orders usually come within 4 days. Great prices for skincare, and the widest variety of groceries from all across Asia. They always have new seasonal/ holiday items 🧡I always order a ton of soymilk, chi sparkling water, snail noodles, cakes, coffee, shampoo, and sunscreen

Very disappointed with this company. The product quality is extremely poor, and items frequently arrive damaged. On top of that, they refuse to issue refunds, even when there are clear quality issues. I would not recommend buying from them.
The new update that was released yesterday break the accessibility
The new update released on March 7th break the accessibility. Instead of reading out the items in Chinese, it read the items instead. I would like to see the app improve the accessibility a bit

Can’t find customer service link and no country of origin in product descriptions
I got my first order and the box was dumped in my garden instead of the front porch just steps away. I could not find customer service info anywhere from the app to let them know about it. There is also no info about the country of origin on any products, which makes shopping difficult. However there are quite a few hard to find products available.

Shipping service is poor
Used to be good service but recently YAMI started to use Amazon Shipping, my package is going all over the places and take forever. Will try to use other online store to avoid the running around!

Love Yami
I’ve been ordering from Yami for several years and have had consistently great experiences. Their app works well, the customer service has been good the few times I’ve had to reach out over the years, and the shipment times are crazy fast.
Horrible customer service
I asked if they can credit my refund as gift card balance when a package is damaged and undeliverable. Without permission from me or any explanation, they refunded to my original payment method. I wanted to verify to decided if I want a replacement sent or getting a refund but never given the opportunity. Their tone of voice is very impolite and ignorant even when I asked a question politely. My advice is: if things go smoothly and you don’t need to deal with the horrible customer service, you might be fine. But if something comes up, anticipate rude customer service and getting nowhere with your request.

推荐了家人和朋友都用了亚米，在国外买不到华人食品地方的人来说非常便利的网，逛亚米比在外国超市哈皮多了。这几年货品种类也越来越多更有逛头了。但是各种断货太厉害，想买啥都断货，想买的东西就没一次能买齐的，中间有一年左右都失望至极不想再来买东西了，疫情期间才又用回来，没想到已经出了app了

1.每次打开私信客服 想快速联系一下解决问题 结果app就闪退 最后还是要用email解决 … 2.是否可以增加「在下单后几小时内可以修改(比如添加或删减商品)订单」这种功能呢？有时忘了买某样东西 想买的话只能重新下单 为了包邮 又得再买满50刀 最后 谢谢亚米平台可以给没有车车的人提供一个很棒的买各国食品的地方
有待加强
亚米很多做的很好，比如说东西比较齐全，价格非常合理，经常有折扣，物流出现问题时的回应也很负责。但是有一些东西有待加强 1. 补货不及时 我等很多商品要等很久才补货，不知道是不是搞饥饿营销，如果是的话当我没说 2. 单个商品的差评被吞 我上亚米经常看到很多好评如潮的物品，买回来以后却发现很难吃。有很多五星评价里的评论都是差评，因为低星会被吞。网络商城的价值不在于你令每一个商品显得很好，而是我在这里能看到大家的使用感想，一味的只推崇，掩盖缺点，只会让五星评价变得不可信。

Works until it doesn’t
There is a bug at checkout where items that I try to buy don’t actually make it into the order and get put back into the cart after payment. Contacted customer service and they can’t duplicate the error and told me to replace my order and they would give me “points” instead of refunding shipping and to make sure I actually put the items in my cart. Like I enjoy making up these kinds of stories for fun. 😂 Update- developers told me to Email customer service….

东西还行，有很多好吃的，但是价格基本上是国内的三四倍。价格也无所谓，重点是包装差劲，把食品放在底下，纸箱特别小，上面的饮料直接就把食物压碎了！我还不如花点运费直接在淘宝上买呢，价格便宜包装也比你的实在呀？两个多星期才到货，海外淘宝都不一定有你这么慢。而且客服特别阴阳怪气，让人很不舒服

미국에서 일년에 한 번 한국 갈 때 일본도 들려 뷰티제품이랑 간식 사들고 왔었어요. 야미를 알기 전까지는요! 이제 그런 압박없이 캐리어 채워오지 않아도 되고 필요할 때마다 소량 주문하면 되고 특히 일본 간식이나 소화제같은 것도 팔아서 너무 좋아요! 가성비나 편리함에 있어 매우 추천✨
Worst service
The service attitude of Yami has really changed a lot compared to a few years ago. Has it become a case of ‘the bigger the store, the worse they treat customers’? When I purchased this garlic sauce and Korean premium sweet potato glass noodles, the product images online did not include the California Proposition 65 warning. However, the items I received did have the warning label, so I no longer wanted them. I contacted customer service by phone and email, and on 12/23/25 they agreed to refund me for these two items. However, as of today, more than three weeks have passed and I still have not received the refund. I sent follow-up emails on 12/23/25 and 1/6/26, but as of 1/15/26 they have completely ignored them and have not replied at all. I want to remind everyone: if you have concerns about this warning, be careful before purchasing. Although they claim to offer ‘worry-free returns and exchanges,’ once you place an order, it may actually be impossible to get your money back.
邮件订阅根本取消不了
软件还是比较好用的，东西虽然经常缺货但是补货周期也比较短，一般一两周就可以补货。快递10天就能到，在美国这个速度也可以习惯。 但是，特别恼人的就是，邮件订阅根本取消不了，几乎每一封邮件我都要点击unsubscribe，每一次点完告诉我取消订阅成功，然而下一封广告邮件依然照发不误。客服我也找过好几回了，也依旧没有解决这个问题。 现在我已经回国了，居然还是在不断地收到广告邮件，非常烦人！
