The best football app for players
Just brilliant. In London you can join a game whenever you want, pretty much. And brilliant for shift workers like me who can’t easily commit to a team. Increasingly available elsewhere in the UK too.
Don’t waste your time
Sometimes people don’t want to download your app so they can play a game! Sometimes we just need players who are looking for a game that is just short of a few players. If you’re gonna cancel my activity by just stating your T&S then cool, wont waste my time using your app, if you can’t explain what exactly, is the reason why the activity was cancelled!
Sign up error
I can’t sign up. It says my email has already been taken but I never tried it before. Neither can facebook account. Please fix the bug.
Great app, but a suggestion
First of all some bugs when it comes to picking the position you play. Secondly we as players are not incentivised to rate our matches or vote for player of the match, make it mandatory to vote in order to book your next match or an optional pop up once you come back to the app after a game. Ive not been on the app for more than maybe 3 weeks but I still have never seen 1 person with even 1 POTM. //I have just updated and you have actually got rid of POTM, terrible decision
Really cool
I enjoy to use this app, good support team, and I met a lot of good people there
O
No refund
Looks good
Just sign up today, like the fact there's a wide range of games to choose from including 8 to 11 a side. Just a shame there's no option to set my position as information does not save
Favourite app
Been using this for about 9 years now in all the places I've lived in London. Massively rate the whole thing and great to see it grow over the years
Nothing
There is literally no games available what so ever in the entirety of the UK.
Flexible platform, but concerns around inclusivity in sessions
Good flexibility to join games, but my experience raised concerns around inclusivity and how player feedback is handled. After providing feedback on session behaviour, I was blocked by an organiser with no opportunity to discuss it. This raises questions about how ‘co-ed’ sessions work in practice.
Exceptional App
Fantastic app to get together and play football. Easy to use and straightforward. Just excellent.
Poor
Account banned for no reason with no explanation from customer service after enquiring.
Grateful this exists!
Have been dying to get back out and play regularly again and Footy Addicts makes this as easy as possible. Have met some great people already at games and look forward to it every week. Couldn’t believe this app exists when I found it and I haven’t stopped telling people about it!
Clunky App
Such a clunky app and haven’t bothered to try and improve it for years now
Football
Best app ever invented best thing for football when your friends let you down jump on the app n play football
Worst experience
If you ever have a problem with a game organiser, don’t expect any help from the admins of this app. When I wrote to them to let them know that one of their organisers was rude and disrespectful towards me and other players, hoping I would be reimbursed for being asked to leave early by this individual, they turned on me and said I should never disagree with the organiser and disrupt the game (I did no such thing), and even suggested I violated their code of conduct for leaving early (again, the organiser asked me to leave and I complied right away). I couldn’t have been more polite and friendly during our exchange. I played 20+ games on this app, never had a problem with anyone, had 100% reliability status and yet they treat you like this when you have one bad experience, simply unacceptable. May I recommend booking games directly on Powerleague or wherever they’re being hosted, instead of this useless middle man app with no accountability.
Good football app
The app shows you all matches in your area. Booking a slot and paying is easy and stress free.
SCAM
I luv soccer sooo much I am a addict I play for a high level soccer club. I was searching through App Store and I saw foot Addicts I was like perfect I luv soccer but when I tried to login it kept swaying someone already has it and it just takes ur password
❤️⚽️🙌🏽
My friends only used to play on Sundays which meant if I weren’t available for that specific slot I wouldn’t be able to play that week. As I got older and life became more busier there were a lot of weeks when I couldn’t play at that slot. This app gave me the chance to play on other days and times and I’m so grateful for this as my playing days would probably have been coming to an end without it. Thank you ❤️⚽️🙌🏽
Scam
Careful they are just taking your password and keep saying email is already taken
Life changing app
Rediscovered a childhood passion and made many new lifelong friends
