Works well to view UNV NVR cameras
The EZView UNV app works well to connect to and view cameras and video on a UNV NVR system. I’ve been using this app daily for a year without any issues to view multiple camera systems. Like any other camera systems and apps I’ve used, you need a strong phone signal or WiFi signal to view the video, but that’s due to the camera resolution and not a problem with the app. Overall, I am very happy with this app.
Terrible - the opposite of what you want in “security”
This is easily the worst piece of software I’ve used, not just for a security app, but for any app - it’s all the worse that it’s for my home’s security. My condo board uses this app, and it is beyond useless - down for months, dodgy instructions from the person who set it up, the list goes on. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
It’s reliable but just needs one simple function
It works well and is reliable but needs one simple new function: the ability to turn on and turn off all cameras with one button! Please🙏🏻
Wrong Time
Why when the time switches to Daylight Saving Time, the clock stays at Standard Time. It’s always an hour behind. Frustrating
Upgrade not progressing
The App asks me EVERY time I enter, to upgrade to the latest cloud version. I have followed the process 5 times so far (connected to network and power), yet still it asks me to upgrade. Please sort this out!

The time on the app is always incorrect no matter if you have “ use Device time Zone” on or off! Not munch effort has gone in to designing this app it’s slow and unresponsive and you can’t playback recorded Vidio from the NVR! Very disappointing 😩😩

I just had Uniview cameras installed at my house. The company that installed them ensured me that I would be able to receive push notifications about motion to my iPhone 15 Pro Max running iOS 18.7.1. NOPE! I can’t get push notifications on this app or through the UNV link user app either. Nothing works! Such a joke! Avoid Uniview!
Problema risolto
L’app non si apriva ed i tentativi continui di aprirla non andavano a buon fine . Disinstallando l’app ( completamente senza conservare i dati ) e reinstallandola inserendo nuovamente le credenziali ( quelle che avete salvato e con le quali accedevate ) l’app funziona si apre sempre e non mi da più problemi .
Glitchy and slow
Often difficult to view on playback. Tends to load slow at times. PTZ movement unbearably slow.
IP Local View
Possibly after recent updates LOCAL IP view has stopped working. When trying to add front scratch unexpected error. Only cloud works.
Working very well
So far so good. App has been more stable than others I have used. Installing these systems for clients and I appreciate how powerful the mobile app is now.
Issue with latest update
The recent update introduced a bug where the password under “my devices” gets changed by itself and cameras go offline. And even when I input the correct password and save it, the cameras will be on temporarily but then the password will get changed again. And another issue is when I log out and log back in, it doesn’t save my camera placement configuration in Live View.
Weird sound!
there is a weird peep sound coming from the cameras when entering the App and after exiting, which is a scary thing! Please fix the problem. Appreciated.
Notification too generic
It would be nice if the iOS notifications specified which device is giving the alert. The next level up would be to make a picture available directly from the notification or other similar solution.
No sound on notifications
This App used to be ‘sort of’ OK, but since a recent update, when an alarm movement notification is received, I get no sound, so don’t know that there has been movement detected. All the phone settings are correct, and ‘sound’ is turned on, but no notification sound given. It sort of makes the App useless, as I have no idea that there has been a movement alarm in one of the cameras. Might have to look for a different App that works properly
How to turn off Auto Pause Video
App works great with my Q-See Presidio NVR but when I use my iPad to monitor the cameras in Live View it will repeatedly pop up a dialog with the message “No activity for a while. Video will pause in (xxs).” In the now unavailable Q-See Presidio app I could turn this off, so how to turn this off in EZView?

App crashes
This app has not worked properly since we’ve been using this system. Works only if you reset your phone. One use and it goes back to crashing. Would recommend sourcing a different system.

Language on app randomly goes to chinese and i have to restart my phone for it to change back, also freezes and disconnects alot
Works just fine for me
Does everything it should. I can’t understand the negative reviews, I can only assume they have connection issues or technology issues themselves? I installed my own cameras. Run two different sites from it. Only issue I have is the App times out so can’t use it to monitor all the time remotely but that could be my settings

Just downloaded the latest update. It reliably fails to open at every attempt to use.
Dog toffee
As the title says, this app is total dog toffee. All set up correctly and proved working However Won’t load up most of the time Always buffering Playback never works System time incorrect (and won’t update regardless of what I do) Reading the positive reviews, I feel they are planted by the app developers!! Update fault
The latest update has removed the red notification bars on the playback bar. Surely this is an error? This app is far from perfect but this has made it worse.
Dental office
Bought this system to keep an eye on my office property. It has paid for itself 3 different times! Catching people and being able to identify cars, license plates, and their face…priceless
notification issue
I tried to activate the app notifications with both Android and iOS systems, I did everything but unfortunately it doesn't work! I want the cameras to detect motion for a specific time and if it happens, I get a notification on my phone.. I checked all the possibilities but it didn't work and this is not good at all
What the actual hell…????
It was working fine & in English - The app all of a sudden has turned itself into Chinese - how the hell do I put this back to English - I did nothing to change it to Chinese - what have done to the App - fix it!!!!
App bug
The app in itself isn’t bad at all it’s just after the upgrade was initiated with the new iPhone the app works for a few minutes and automatically closes up. Please fix this bug other then that it would definitely be a 5 stars for me. There is absolutely an issue with the new IOS 17.2 and the app.
Not had the issues the other people have had
Like most technology it’s hard to understand everything at first, take your time. With everything set up correctly by an experienced person, I’ve had no problems in the last 3 years or so, the motion sensor works with red tags on the timeline, notifications are annoying with birds, cats etc so wouldnt bother with them
Trash Service and App
Horrible service! Always a lag with pulling up my cameras. Can’t get the right time set on my cameras from this app. Says my cameras need update but every-time I do it gives me an error message. I do the update again and it says completed only for me to close the app out and go back in to the cameras needing the same update! It’s stupid. Find a different service. Do Not use this app! Trash….
The app crashes and doesn’t allow to use my cameras

Google tv
Please write code for google tv. Also please fix code so that when configuring, unavailable plug ins are no longer required. Configuring in chrome or edge requires a plug in for video, which is nowhere to be found.
Best cctv app I’ve used
I have had Hik vision connect before and this is light years ahead as you can play back multiple images.

Always connection problems
Only works 50% of the time, for no reason it will not connect. Look at video one minute and the next minute it just won’t work! Besides connection problems you can not export videos to phone or anything else because the file is always to large.

Struggle with connection issues all the time. Get part through camera review and it stops.

Four Uniview cameras and NVR. It works very well for me. Support seems good. A mildly irritating bug in the previous version was quickly fixed.
What a terrible app
Constant connection problems, Surveillance playback is abysmal Even with high speed internet & the latest iPhone at the time, this app is terrible Unless you never plan on using this app, I suggest looking elsewhere Please fix the app for better user experience
2.32.1 causes system to crash
The latest update 2.32.1 released on 6/5/2023 is causing our Uniview NVR to reboot every time a user tries to connect remotely through the app.
