2025.11.14: |_| latest update 2025.09.22: was wanting to download this for a very long time, and I figured after the latest iOS update, it would’ve been the best time… But it seems to hang and crash, is anyone else having this issue? Thanks in advance..!

Force closes at start up
Great game but no longer works on my device
I am on an iPhone 8 with IOS 11 and the game now crashes on launch, the compatibility section is outdated at least for the older phones and operating system updates. I just wish apps wouldn’t just flat out destroy themselves on older phones like they all seem to be doing.
Excellent idea, not-so-good execution
This game takes me to the square one every time leave the game!!
Nice idea but not fun
Interesting idea, nicely written, simple, minimal gameplay but just becomes too difficult. Even if you get past the difficult bits you don’t feel you enjoyed it, or used skill, it’s just a frustrating chore of ‘rapid clicking and hoping for the best’. I gave up on it fairly quickly.

Won’t work on my device
Hello, this game won’t work on my device. I have a iPhone 8 running 11.4.1. Any time I tap on the app, it gives me a white screen and then crashes. Rebooting did not work. I loved A Dark Room and The Ensign but this app doesn’t seem to work.

This game is short but I love it. I redownloaded it because I was thinking about the concept of the 4th dimension and how we would perceive it. I guess like the flatlanders, I’m confused. Unlike them I’m not scared. Big fan of the game developers.
One Dimensional
Literally the most pointless game I have found yet
I’m so confused
The game was great, clearly designed to be more art than game. Where I’m confused is that in looking at other reviews, I don’t seem to have experienced all the content. Did the game designer redesign the entire game, making the old content unavailable? That seems to be the only answer as I spent 20+ minutes trying to move past the ending and at this point can only assume that I reached it.
Crashing
Have had multiple crashes. Game is fun. But, I finally lost my patience after I finally passed “The Bug Guns” only to have my game crash before it saved.
A bit underwhelming
The gameplay was lacking a bit of development further. Jumping mechanic was a bit underwhelming. I think n-dimensionality is not so mysterious and thought provoking as author wanted to. After great A Dark Room I was a bit disappointed.

Why..
Finished the game in ~15 min, thought there would be more but... no. Also, frustrating mechanics and annoyingly small gaps to get your little circle through with time pressure and clunky movement was just... ugh. I enjoyed a dark room and the ensign tremendously, but this just let me down.
Sound broken on iPad version
Sweet game. I’ve finished it twice. The sound doesn’t work on the iPad version though. Deleted and reinstalled, also restarted device but no use. Sound works on other apps, just not this one. Sound works on iPhone version though.
Cool gemacht aber eig nur Werbung
Ich hab die App a dark room gespielt und dachte dös wäre ein ähnliches Spiel ( übrigens ein sehr cooles Spiel ) allerdings ist das einfach nur Werbung für a dark room sehr schade hab mehr erwartet :(
Frustrating controls
Not a hard game made hard by inaccurate controls. Make the dot go relative to the dot not relative to the bottom middle of the screen.
Another title with a genuine story
While the game isn’t long, I enjoy having stories that are concise and have an ending to them. It’s like having a book you can open, finish and return to with the return feeling like a burden. Starting many games these days feels like it’s going to be a burden getting started and having that huge laundry list of things to do again. But games made by this artist are concise and memorable, and I’ll leave my review the same way. Thank you for letting me enjoy your game again.

Ok so this game takes about an hour, if that...i really liked dark room, and if your looking for that, don't get this game. This is more of a message from the developer than a game, something id rather get for free than pay $.99 for...however i gave it 3 stars because they did a good job on Dark Room.

Interesting..
Like the other games Amir has created, it kept me hooked until the end. It’s a rather simple game with a simple plot, but that doesn’t make it bad. It’s meant for a certain type of people; people who have the patience and persistence to finish what they started. The only thing that I found annoying about this game was how after you died in a section it would make it easier for you. I didn’t really have a sense of accomplishment after I got past most sections, since the difficulty was lowered. But, I can see why this was added. Not everyone will stick around to complete that one difficult section of a game. 4/5. Keep doing what you’re doing, Amir and co.

A good mix of humor and good message
The first time I realized this was more than a silly game was when the square spun super fast and appeared to be a circle. I don’t entirely know why, but I found that to be very touching. The (anti)story is nice, the game is fun, the mechanics are smooth, and the overall experience is good. The temporary difficulty setting is very helpful, allowing to make a particularly difficult obstacle easier without the entire rest of the game being easy. The music at the end was very nice as well. I got this for free several years back, and never played it until now. I’m glad I did though, as I’m not sure I’d understand the deeper meaning of this game back then. But now that I’ve played it, I’m so glad I got it. So thanks for making this neat game. Below has a partial spoiler: I would love a sequel of some sort. Maybe about the friend (his name slipped my mind), or the society that they built. I would definitely pay the 1-3 bucks for that.
Boring
Big fan of Dark Room and Ensign but I didn't find this enjoyable to play at all, got bored of reading the rambling text and found the jerky gameplay difficult and annoying.

Loved the game! It's so creative and interesting... However...I have a question/problem...not sure if this is a glitch or not but every time I try to redo the game after I got to the end I die within 200 steps even if I didn't touch anything. I could just stay there and not move and die. The raindrops from the end of the levels show up too. Is it supposed to be like this? Thanks!

Engaging but tiring gameplay
The narrative is very engaging and keeps me intrigued but the jumping puzzle element is as bad as flappy bird. I'm not sure if I'll ever finish the game.

Redownloaded this game at 3am after stumbling upon it as a child. Like with many things in life, tackling with a new perspective was enriching. Thank you for sharing.
Condescending, poorly paced and full of itself
Much like its predecessor, A Dark Room, this is a reasonably solid game, with a decent story concept, but it's so full of itself and thinks so little of the player that it ruins any enjoyment. A dark room was good enough to be (barely) worth it, (at least until the self congratulatory audio files after the ending) this one is not. Do not waste your time.
Great Concept
Stick with this game, it can be very frustrating but it is worth it. Big thanks to the developer for the game and sharing his insights into indie gaming.
A story of epic scale and small heartfelt moments.
What can I say but that I enjoyed it. The game play was simple but delightful. The physics was well presented. Loved it.
Prohibitively Difficult
This game showed a lot of promise but it became prohibitively difficult to continue about 5 minutes in. I've enjoyed other apps from this developer but, sadly, this one fell considerably short of the mark. Such a pity.
