Good rhythm game for phones
Simple controls, high skill ceiling 10/10 sound track
No sound
I bought this to play on an iPhone SE 2020, and literally no sound played. No sound. Kind of a problem for a music-based game.
Overall very nice music but with one major issue
I love Deemo’s music songs as they are all fire with my favorite song from Deemo being Myosotis but as I play it’s songs and growing the tree, it only stops at 20.00mm and doesn’t grow any further. It seems impossible to get to the Forgotten Hourglass if you can’t get to the maximum height of 50.00mm and this exactly happened to me as I was trying to grow the tree over 20.00mm but it didn’t work. To get to the Forgotten Hourglass, you’ll need to reach to the Top Floor to Alice’s Room but it doesn’t let me grow the tree higher, this is becoming a problem and I hope the problem gets fixed soon but overall, it has very fire music but the tree is the issue so I rate this game a 3.8/5. Deemo gets a 3.8 out of 5 for very fire music and collaboration with Cytus and other rhythm games but it gets a rating lower than a 5/5 because I unexpectedly saw the tree height stop at 20.00mm as I’m supposed to continue growing the tree to the max height of 50.00mm and it’s not functioning right. Overall, it’s a 3.8 out of 5 (slightly to a 4/5) but I wish that the issue of the growing tree in Deemo can be entirely fixed and functioned right.

Not free anymore
I unlocked all songs when it first came out years ago. Now it's all locked behind a paywall despite unlocking most of them in the first place with lots of effort.
Game restarted by itself :(
Im on a new device, same icloud and gamecenter as the one i used to complete the game, yet when I downloaded deemo again it restarted and my data reset. On my achievements it says i have 11/12 achievements but somehow everything else isnt back, please help. Thank you.
Paid for the app, but more IAP?
I bought the app through the App Store, but when I loaded it on my phone there are songs that require in app purchases. Very disappointing, as there is no indication that buying the app won’t give full access to all content. If the app was free to start, I’d understand the in app purchase option, but in a paid app?? Really sad
Good music game
Great music and artwork. Minus 2 stars because there is only a small selection of free songs, with about 80% you need to pay for 😭 The remaining free songs are a bit tedious to unlock as well

Long time plyer
This game has a good story amazing music and really fun gameplay. I like the customization of the notes. This allows players to adjust the game the themselves. All in all 5 star game100%.
Lost Purchases
Played this game years ago in high school and loved it enough to buy several books. Years and two new phones later and now that I have redownloaded it and try to restore my purchases nothing happened. I could not play any of the songs I purchased years ago, and I won’t support a scam of a company. Also they fired their artists and use A.I. art. Pathetic. How long until the music is A.I. generated too?
Storage space sucks
Hey this game is great and all, but it’d be nice if dlc stuff was online instead of being stored locally. Would save a lot of space than having 3GBs of storage being taken up for no reason. Edit: I say this because it’d be nice for old players to get access to new content if they offloaded.

my first true rhythm game
from time to time I had played games in the App Store that were simple rhythm games with generic pop music with press the tiles or follow the ball, but when I played this game for the first time around 2013/2014, and took years to beat it, it not only grew on me in such a short amount of time, the heartbreaking story and beautiful art as well as music, not only change my music taste, but love for this game, as it remains as one of my favorites to this day, and most definitely one of the best rhythm games (at least story wise) made to this day. A truly unique and memorable experience I’ll never forget nor regret. It’s soundtrack I hold extremely close personally.
New AI direction is disappointing
I bought this game years ago and have loved playing it, but I’m very disappointed that Rayark is switching to using AI for their art instead of hiring artists. The beautiful artwork of the game is a large part of what makes it so good, this shows no respect to the artists that made this game successful. I considered buying the sequel or more songs, but I will not be doing so if all of it is created by AI so that the company can cut costs and replace good art with cheap imitation
A few songs are super good
A huge fan of the songs like Wings of Piano, Evolution Era, but other songs aren’t as enjoyable to play. At least new songs are often being added
Please bring back the old ui
I know maybe some of you dont like classics, but to me the new menu and such are pretty ugly to me. I would rather play reborn because of this really. The nostalgia from 2013 is gone tbh, not to mention the fc/ac indicator too. For an ac player like me its extremely helpful to know if you choked or not. I love this game when its v3.9, but it feels like the old Deemo is taken away because of this. Thank you.

This is beautiful
I’ve never written a review for games before, but this game is too good not to. Everything about it is beautiful. The music is wonderful, the art is amazing, the gameplay’s fun and not too difficult, and the story is captivating. It’s simple, but that’s what makes it beautiful. I also love how mysterious it is. No one explains anything. There’s no deep lore. (well I’m still playing the game so I wouldn’t know if there is any) but I love that. Things just happen and you learn to accept it. Maybe I’m going too deep with this. Anyways, it’s a wonderful game.

Restore purchase
I reset all setting of my Iphone, I downloaded Deemo, and I can not restore my purchase. All books and data are gone. Why?
My first rhythm game
This was my childhood game that I would play in the car on long trips and is the game that started my love for rhythm games and made me want to continue playing violin and pursue music. Now here I am 11 years later and still holding onto that same passion. I owe so much to this game, thank you Deemo for bringing music into my life for the first time.
Use of AI art has turned my love to hatred
Loved “Deemo” to death, hadn’t found the time to get into the sequel. But hearing that the company fired humans to replace their hard work on the game’s beautiful art with “AI” art has soured my memories of the first game and destroyed my interest in the second. When all artists are out of work, who will the “AI” steal from to produce its inferior junk art, have you considered that? Hire back your human artists and PAY THEM PROPERLY. —— (VERY) old previous review: I love this game and even though I've had it for months and have gotten full combos on most easy/normal tracks, I keep going back to favorite songs again and again - not trying to improve my score, just for the fun of playing and listening to them. But I want to find out what happens next, so please add more to the story! :)

DLC difficulty
This game is perfect and all but since Rayark released the new dlc and adding a new difficulty to songs when you unlock the charts, some of the songs require 3 or more fingers which I find ridiculous considering I've played this game for a good 3 years now and only ever needed to use my 2 thumbs. I have this game on iPhone and hold the phone while I play so I can only use my thumbs to tap and would rather keep it that way

With the new update, I can t play very well because there is always lags, then I miss all of the songs.

Paid but not getting full access
Hello, so I paid for the game, but when I loaded the game, it displayed the message “due to version update, please restore your purchase at App Store,” and when I pressed the restore purchase button in Deemo, it did nothing. I have played deemo on other devices before, and I have never had this problem. Please help me fix this.
