I use Dashing Dish ALL THE TIME
Everything Katie suggests in her recipes are items I ACTUALLY have on hand in my pantry! And her recipes are FUN to make and not overwhelming me with random instrustions or ingredients I dont have! AND HER LOVE FOR JESUS IS CONTAGIOUS!! I love her! - Becky Crenshaw
App is not well made
The app is not well made. The recipes aren’t that great. Save your time and money and look elsewhere.
Wonderful Recipes but Portion Sizes Needed
I love this app, but man would portion sizes be helpful.
Too many tech issues
The recipes are fantastic, but the app itself needs a lot of work. The app constantly glitches and crashes. It sometimes takes me 4-5 attempts to get to a recipe I saved because the app loads (slowly), crashes, makes you restart, and then repeat.
EXPORT TO NOWHERE
A main reason why I chose the subscription level that I did was so I could export my shopping list. This feature has never worked and I’ve been using the app for a couple of months. I have sent multiple requests for support and never got an answer.
Best clean eating app!!
I've been a member since 2015. Katie has the most delicious and healthy recipes!! You will never regret this subscription! So many times I have been able to whip up dinner in 30 mins or less!!
Awful customer service
I haven’t had a subscription in a while. Then, a week ago, I was billed $70. I did not authorize it and never received any information. I have been trying to contact Dashing Dish technical support, Katie & Sean for a week now to no avail.
Serving Sizes
I love the app because it is very user-friendly! The dishes are delicious, and many of them have become family staples. My only complaint is that the recipes don’t tell you how much a serving size is. For someone that counts macros and portions their food, I really need that feature. Doing the math of 1/8 of the dish doesn’t seem very reliable. Other than, 5 stars!!
Can't Favourite my workout
I am having problem Favourite-Ing my workout. Hope you can please help update the bug.
Review of Dashing Dish APP, not website!
Katie and her team are changing the way we think about food, exercise, and prioritizing the way we “should” be with the way God wants us to be. I’ve been a fan for years and will continue my paying membership until no longer available! That being said, the app is only adequate and doesn’t reflect the refined, user-friendly abilities of DashingDish.com. Making changes to the menu calendar is impossible. Repeat items (ex. bacon) appear multiple times if used for multiple meals instead of consolidating and increasing quantity. Workouts are easy to access but not formatted for a small screen like a phone. The above mentioned items are annoying and make the DD.com experience less than stellar. This being said, I will continue being a paying customer and use the app as a supplement for my normal browser use.
Not a cook...until now!
I never was big on cooking. I thought it was boring and I never knew what to cook. This app saved me during quarantine. All the recipes are so good, even my 10 year old eats what I make. I love the grocery list. It’s so easy to check off and not double buy something. I can plan my week in advance. Do not hesitate to subscribe!
Love Dashing Dish
I’ve been a dashing dish member since 2012, and love the recipes and website as well as the update however. I am running into some new issues with the new app. My favorites haven’t been showing up at all. I also am not the biggest fan of the new calendar. I loved that we could categorize each recipe by breakfast lunch dinner dessert and snacks and now we can’t. Also when you add anything custom it doesn’t give you the option to spread it over multiple days, you have to duplicate it and then move. Other than that the new website is beautiful.
Love the food... app needs help
Make it compatible with my IPad!
Wonderful Surprise
I downloaded this app for the 7 day free trial with all intents to cancel before or by that 7 days. I didn’t! I had no idea all the options available in this app. I have never seen such a complete compilation of ALL the things you would want to have in one place, beautifully organized! Not only are there great recipes and the easiest meal planner but she gives us so much more with the ability to add workouts to your calendar, providing devotionals, the ability to shop straight from the app, and more. I feel like every time I open the app I discover something new and helpful. I stumbled on this app and I’m so glad I did! It was a wonderful surprise and I am so excited to use it!
Favorites are not converting over to the new app
I love Dashing Dish and am so excited to try all the new features from the app update! I noticed right away that all my Favorites categories had no recipes in them. The categories I created were there but they were all empty. Hopefully you can fix that soon. Love what you do and am thankful for you!
Love Dashing Dish, Issues with the App
Okay, so I absolutely LOVE Dashing Dish! I’ve been a member for years and have made so many delicious recipes from the site! Even my husband, who doesn’t “eat healthy” has enjoyed many of these meals! The app, although convenient to have on my phone and not have to go to the website, has some flaws! I use the app to meal plan and I’ve found recently that it is impossible to delete a recipe once it is on a certain day! When you swipe the recipe to the left, a little delete button pops up, but when you hit it, it disappears and the recipe is still there! Am I doing this wrong? It is driving me nuts because I am trying to plan out my weeks, but even after trying to move things around, I can’t get my week to look like I want! Also, I have yet (after probably a year, maybe two) of using the app, been able to save a favorite! Every time I go up to the “add” button and click favorite, it says there was an error! I have no favorites in my acct anymore even though I had dozens saved long ago! Again, don’t get me wrong here.. I absolute love Dashing Dish and all these amazing recipes, but I think the app needs some adjusting!!
Love Dashing Dish
I have been a member for about 3 years. Recently I got serious about my weight loss and am on the Keto Diet with modifications. Since being a diabetic (type 2) for 6 years, my blood sugar has been going up even though I’m on several meds for it I decided to try counting carbs with the Keto Diet with guidance from my physician. I was confused how many carbs I should have per day. The doctor said a good rule of thumb is keep your sugar level 120 or below. That got me started using all the low-carb recipes from Dashing Dish. Watching carbs for a month and already my husband and I have gone down one pants size. We are both now below 200 lbs and enjoying the food. Keto low-carb is a way of life not a Diet. I’ve tried other weight loss programs without success. Dashing Dish makes it easy with the many low-carb recipes. The recipes give you options to try if you don’t have certain things in your pantry. I love to cook and the recipes have broadened my range of cooking. We like the fresh Cauliflower Riceas well as the fresh Stir Fry Vegetable bags from the grocery store produce department. It’s easy to Microwave the bag for 3 minutes and use in one of the recipes. Thank you Dashing Dish for making us get healthy!
Eating Healthy
This has been great! My kids are helping pick meals and cooking. We have liked every recipe and love trying new things.
Love the app, I use almost daily!
Lost 8 pounds and feel a ton healthier using this app for most of my meals. Now I have some wiggle room with eating out and having snacks! Thanks for helping me be and look healthier!!!💕💕💕
10/10
Life changing stuff! Made me fall in love with cooking and helped teach me how to treat my body right. The BEST recipes I’ve ever had!
Best Clean Recipe/Food App on the Market
My family is all on board with Dashing Dish! It has become a household name! I love the updated app....makes picking recipes for the week and grocery shopping so easy!! Being able to create a grocery list for exactly what I need and having all of it on hand makes my life so much better! All of the recipes are delicious and teenager approved!! Hands down, my favorite food/recipe app ever! Thanks, Katie, and team!
Unbelievably Impressed
I’ve done “clean eating” swaps for years and years but have never found recipes that taste this good and work is well on my first try! I’m obsessed and so thankful for the bonus of saving time, no more searching for the clean eating versions of foods I love, and no more guess work trying to figure out the best gluten free-paleo type swaps! It’s all organized for me. Katie if hugs were allowed I’d plow you over with hug gratitude! ❤️💯 Also husband took one look at the clean eating cookie swaps and said - SOLD pay whatever you need to monthly! Lol 😂
