"RTHK News" is the latest RTHK mobile app dedicated to the provision of RTHK news content in both Chinese and English, including latest news and news programmes which is developed by News & Current Affairs and New Media Unit of Radio Television Hong Kong (RTHK). Users can listen to live programme of RTHK Radio 1 or Radio 3. Users can add/remove and rearrange the news content blocks according to their preferences.
"RTHK News" key features:
1) Multimedia service – provides news photos, text, videos and audio contents.
2) Personalised – users can add/remove and rearrange news categories and news programmes according to their preference.
3) Downloadable – news programmes and videos can be downloaded and enjoyed anytime and anywhere.
4) “Push Alert” function – users are notified of breaking news at their choice.
5) Sharing capable – users can share news articles or news programme episodes via social networks.
6) Equipped with “Simple Mode” – specially designed for visually impaired users.
7) Radio live – provides live streaming of RTHK Radio 1 and Radio 3.
8) Live Video News – provides live video news content.
