Longtime fan
I’ve been playing this game for 10 years relatively consistently. It remains a favorite for its simplicity, design, and replayability.
I fricking hate this game
The game forces you so that right after your last move you get a plus. It makes you pay for fricking antimatters when they could just give you free antimatters for an ad or something. I do not recommend this game for beginners.

Very good game. I don't know how I stumbled across it on my old phone but I changed phones and now I'm glad I did. I honestly feel like it's a tradgedy that more people don't know about it, but i suppose this would be hard to advertise anyways.

Game needs a better tutorial
I just understand the idea or goal of the game is the tutorial isn’t enough. I know trial and error is a thing but it’s a game, no? It’s kind of boring.
Been playing for years
I have been playing atomas for at least ten years at this point. I love this game. It doesn’t have any ads and doesn’t force any spendings on you to win. Also the gameplay is fun. Has different game modes, but i just play the basic one usually. Great game, great app, i appreciate the developer for not making this game a money cow
Missed Opportunity
If you’re going to have a game with real names of elements you could at least use semi-accurate chemistry, but then to not even use accurate 1st grade math, it’s embarrassing, offensive. Two Heliums (2x2) make a Beryllium (4), not a Lithium (3). Stellar nucleosynthesis is just an alpha and beta decay, two options for changes in atomic number (+/- 4 or 1). It would be really easy for anyone with a 6th grade education with a very short tutorial. Too bad.

I love this game, but it had issues. The randomness means I could be getting mountains of +s I don’t need. Or I lack them when they are needed. Also, I wish there were more power ups.
Make the game iPhone X compatible.
Game is good. But non-compatibility ruins the experience. It looks awful in iPhone X.
Fun but..
This game is really cool but it has a major flaw, I think. As you’re playing the game will give subtle hints as to what you should do next, where the atom best fits in. But if you’ve already started your own chain and you don’t follow the hints then it seems almost like the game punishes you by denying you positives until you fill out the game area. Obviously I can’t prove this so it’s entirely unfounded but it’s just how I feel.

it pushes you into a corner until you meed to pay to win. this is a great concept but its ruined by a bad pay to win form. I wished this was a pay once game. its impossible to win without paying for bail-out items, and makes me feel like a loser.
Can’t play sound on other apps
Want to be able to listen to music and podcasts while I play, but I can’t. Other than that, very fun game!
Fun game, but only briefly
It’s a fun little game and a nice concept, but later on you’ll find that it only has one purpose, which is to sell the “problem solver” action ie antimatter. The game gets steadily more difficult as the array of atoms increases, but at a certain point too many “junk” atoms are introduced to ruin the patterns, and the sole purpose of this is to introduce false difficulty. The game has enough difficulty without this addition and it ruins what would have otherwise been a good puzzle game. I’d rather have bought a game with honest play than being pushed towards in-game purchases.
Cheats
As the atoms add up they add to what they want you to have ultimately. Game is a good game but it does cheat A LOT. The way the atoms add up needs to be consistent and not in favor of the game to ultimately get you to purchase. Basically you’re going to lose unless you spend
I love this, but there’s only one bad thing about it
This is one of my favorite games, and I hope more people will get to play it, but I have one suggestion for you. PLEASE DECREASE THE AMOUNT OF ATOMS YOU HAVE TO GET TO UNLOCK ZEN MODE.
Fun but frustrating, less fun less stars edit
I wish I could post a screenshot with the review, six +’s at the beginning of today’s game. Seems to be happening more often now. The developers don’t respond to reviews, well with “free” you get what you pay for eh? The game has a number of positives going for it. But unfortunately the “randomness” of it isn’t one of them. I’ve played a number of times now and the +s come in waves at the beginning of each game and then disappear as atoms build up. I’ve had literally more +s then atoms then they disappear. Is it a coincidence that a paid feature removes atoms so game play can continue? Not likely… time and again I play “free” games that use a paid “fix” for the lack of randomness in their random games. Sorry I don’t like to be played, only play… Still having a significant problem with the “randomness” issue. Not quite ready to quit and delete but if the developer doesn’t want to respond to concerns then why bother playing a game that just irritates you.

Basic scientific inaccuracy..
Has great potential and maybe if it was a number game I'd love it, but I can't stand that it's teaching incorrect basic science (combining two of the same atoms would double the atomic number, not give the next element in the periodic table)

How long ago did this app come out? It has to be over a decade ago now, right? Well anyway, I play this game every day and I love that it doesn't have ads, it's simple but difficult. It's calming because you go at your own pace. Easily my favorite app. Please never change!

Poorly thought out
Despite the aesthetic and clean animations, this game has no complexity and was poorly thought out by the developers. 1) Gameplay While the core premise of this game is sound, serious players will be disappointed by the lack of thought put into the game modes. Notably, in classic mode it is possible to have a highest atom that is is twice as large as the atoms that are spawning. This leads to a tedious grind that leaves your spawned atoms trailing slowly behind while your largest atom slowly crawls higher. This does not make for exhilarating gameplay and it is worth playing only once. 2) Achievements and Unlockables No thought was put into the creation of unlockables as many of them work against the player during the game. Perhaps you “enjoy the challenge” that these unlockables give, but they do not add difficulty to game play. In fact, they disrupt any winning strategy, making the game more of a grind. Moreover, any useful hardly changes the gameplay. Many achievements encourage grinding and the mystery achievements have no way of completing. While the app is free, and does not matter in general, I cannot help but to express my disappointment in the game. I am extremely disappointed in the developers ability. This is genuinely a terrible game.
Fun but Confusing
This game is really fun and I really love playing it. But, some of the atoms’ colors are too similar to each other and it messes me up. For example, magnesium’s color is extremely similar to the plus atom color. It makes gameplay more difficult.
Flawed
I really, really want I just love this game, but the more times you play it the more obvious it becomes that there’s something not right with the way atoms are distributed. Each time a new game starts, the ratio of pluses to atoms is skewed waaaay toward pluses. Like, get a couple of atoms, then three pluses in a row, a couple more atoms, two more pluses... it’s really common for me to have only 3 or 4 atoms but 5 or 6 pluses all stacked up on the same board. Then once you’ve played for a bit, no more pluses. I’ve tried hoarding them, but that just fills up the board so I can’t have as many atoms to work with. By the time I’ve gotten up to Gallium or so, I just get ten or more atoms in a row with no pluses. It’s impossible to advance. Please fix this!
Awesome, but so many bugs
This game is my favorite but there are SO MANY BUGS!!! One I found is that when the game ends, there is a share button. When you click the share button, it crashes the app.

Luck based too much
Going into classic, I thought I was gonna get a good, high score. Couple games and end up failing because barely any plus. “Ok, then I’ll use the Oxygen boost!” Next round ends up me getting way too many unnecessary plus signs and when l finally need one it never shows up. Checking what I was going to get next was a plus. Seriously? And that is insane. Too much luck and when you need to be lucky you aren’t. Would’ve rated 2 star if it wasn’t for the fact that I love science and the periodic table.

Really fantastic game that is challenging without being frustratingly so. What *is* frustrating is that opening the game will stop and prevent playback of anything you’re listening to (Spotify, etc) even with the sound and music turned off. This is exactly the type of game that’s best enjoyed while listening to something.

Fun game
The app helps you memorize the elements while playing a fun atom merging game. I found a glitch with the ( - ) power, I’m not sure exactly what caused it, but I used it in a hydrogen, placed it, pressed undo (time machine) and it undid two moves while replacing the original hydrogen with nitrogen, and gave me an extra hydrogen to place. The difficulty of the game progresses nicely with the length of the gameplay.

Let me start by saying I LOVE this app, I’ve been playing since high school and encountered essentially no bugs, no issues playing the game and have had hours of entertainment from this game, but with this recent update (I’m on iPhone 11) everything seems to be missing, there’s no game modes other than the standard and no option to go to my high scores. Kinda a bummer considering I used to love Zen Mode. Any solutions? An update fixing the bug coming soon? Anything?
