App freezing
I am on iPhone 11 with IOS 15. This Dawn App is constantly freezing on my phone when in use. As it stands it is largely unusable. Also the web based Dawn is not stable and is constantly jumping up an down. Some serious software upgrades are needed.
User interface inflexibility
The dark mode of the app makes certain words within articles unreadable as they are dark coloured which clashes with the dark background. Update must be done to rectify these words in brighter foreground tone so to ease reader.
Scroll not working
Since a couple of days, the scroll on any news story is not working. It is just working on the home screen. This same issue was happening a year or two back. Clearly whoever fixed it didn’t fix it properly.

Good tech support
Being an expat, knowing one can read the local news on a mobile device is very important. I was so frustrated on the last update when the scrolling issue happened. But thanks to the girls and boys at the Dawn App team for responding on it so quickly
Scrolling issues
App used to crash a lot and now with latest update, scrolling through an article/news is horrible. It moves in millimeters.
Bugs issue in application
Kindly update the application and fix the bugs because the paragraph could not scroll down completely.

App hangs when you open any news headline to read it in detail . You cannot scroll down to read that news in full
UI can be better
I uninstalled Dawn app because of the bugs and crashes. That problem seems to have been fixed. The UI on the other hand is not very user friendly. Especially the “top” and “latest” options in the bottom are hard to reach on Iphone X and newer models because of the swipe up function.
Buggy
Current version is buggy. Swiping to scroll up and down doesn’t work at all.
Not scrolling
Im having a problem of scrolling the news article whenever I try to open it. The app is updated on my phone as per the latest version but the problem persists! Would love to have this fixed asap
Need update
Thank you for updating the app. I am updating my previous comment, due to further issues regarding this update. I personally feel that readers are more interested in reading the text written, rather than the photos shown. This new update shows photos large ( larger than before) attached with the news For example OPINION sections. And the text size has gone very small, which is still acceptable but not convenient since zooming in an out to read is a big hassle. Please look into it.
Full of bugs
This is the most bug prone app on my phone. Interface is very basic but still hard to navigate as simple gestures such as clicks and swipes stop working here. They can pay some decent app developers to make an app that matches the quality of their news contemt

I think the app doesnt work on ios 12, doesnt seem to work since iv updated my phone. Otherwise the app is great and provide fairly neutral news from Pakistan which is hard to find with the likes of Ary and Bol around
Cannot scroll news items
After latest update which was supposed to fix bugs for ios 12, one cannot even read full news items. Scrolling up and down does not work with in an article. So instead of fixing it added bugs.
Nice UI but need option to make text bigger
In this respect the old app was a lot more readable because the text was bigger.
Blank Screen
A week ago I updated the app on iPhone 11 Pro and now once I click on the headline I only get blank screen and no contents. Please fix this issue.

One of best app
One of the best app ever although their breaking news alert comes up at least 6-8 hours after event has happened. Best thing about this app is, in the news description there is no machine language!
App ads overlay on top of the news
The wrapping of text around the news report does not work and ends up hiding key info. App is not designed for iPad as images on its main page are cropped. Poor design & execution.

Thank you for the news app but your app continues to crash since ios 12. I am running ios 12.1.4 (the latest version). And the app is still crashing to the annoying state. Please update and fix the bugs. Thank you!
Can’t read
After new iOS nothing is readable. App has become practically usable.
Simplicity is good
A very minimalist app. Does what it's supposed to do. Perfect example of what and how a news app should look like.
App quality
Its shameful that a premier newspaper of Pakistan could have such an atrocious app. It keeps crashing time and time again, its painful to read articles or provide comments. Please invest in your IT or your good content will become obsolete.

Dawn app freezes, crashes and shows old news
I have been using Dawn App in fact this the only app I use to view Pakistani news. Since last month, app has been acting strange, frequent crashes, showing old contents & when I tap on a link it will show blank screen.
Why no Improvements???
Dear Dawn The Magazine section of the App is not being updated since last one month. You are not making effort to frequently improve the app and the user experience Kindly keep up the Good work of an excellent initiative that you have taken on developing this app
Fonts
The app itself is better than before in layout but when you open an article the font size is so small it’s practically unreadable. There is no way to increase the size of the font so essentially the app is useless.
My concern ---app won't play the tv
This a good improvement from the previous version. Still there is a bug. I noticed when in the options you choose to watch live streaming of the Dawn Tv. The app will never take you past the add the shows up.
