Kokonaisuus on toimiva sekä johdonmukainen. Tyyli on hyvinkin positiivisesti skandinaavinen ja sitä kannattaa korostaa sekä kehittää eteenpäin. Plus-jäsenyystietojen näyttäminen on hyvällä tasolla mutta esim. kauppa-toiminto sekä korotusetujen hallinta voisi jo löytyä sovelluksesta eikä vain selainversiosta. Kaiken kaikkiaan hyvä sovellus!
Doesn’t even work
Completely useless and it does not even work. Keeps giving an error message!
Tumman tilan tuki puuttuu / Dark mode not supported
Sovellus toimii muuten loistavasti ja ansaitsisi täydet viisi tähteä, mutta tumman tilan puutteesta johtuen saa neljä. Mikäli tumma tila olisi saatavana, tekisi se sovelluksen käyttämisestä miellyttävämpää ja säästäisi myös puhelimen akkua. Lentojen varaus sujuu sulavasti kaikkine vaiheineen. / Otherwise, the app works great and would deserve a full five stars, but because it lacks a dark mode, it gets four. If a dark mode were available, it would make the app more pleasant to use and would also save the phone’s battery. Booking flights goes smoothly at every step.
Could be better
Expecting more from FinnAir — Works ok - happy path only. When changes are made to the booking due to FinnAir flight cancellations they are not reflected within the app. You also can not find the updated booking. Frustrating.
Make sure you check
I tried to book a seat with leg room. The app showed one that had more space but when I got to the seat it was not at all. I was told it was my problem and very sorry but tough luck. Otherwise it does what it should, but do check.
Nordic quality
Excellent fleet, Nordic quality, functional app. Until you manage all your needs digitally, everything works just perfectly. When you need human custom support, you are in trouble. Even being on a gold membership tier.
App doesn’t work at all!
It opens with a page with a “continue” button at the bottom. Literally nothing you can do other than push the “continue” button, which takes to a “something went wrong” error page. So literally the only thing this app is capable of doing is telling you something went wrong!

Uusi appi on tehty paljon sekavammaksi kuin edellinen. Nyt joutuu etsimään varausnumeroa ja lennon tietoja a Paljon hankalammin kuin ennen. Muutos ei ollut nyt parempaan suuntaan vaan huonompaan.
The best airline app I’ve ever used
This app does everything others do, and more. It notifies you of every step and any changes to flights. It has maps and a user-friendly interface. I’ve used most airline apps in Europe and this is the best I’ve used.
Useless!!!
This app is completely useless. No boarding pass, every time I click on the seat button to change my seat it gives an error message saying “problem uploading that information, please try again later.” I’ve been trying for days, and all day. Never works. All it’s good for is to show you your flight, that’s it. Everything and anything else you must do through the website, which honestly isn’t that much better; I’d give it 2 stars! Website won’t add my trip via the reference number, keeps saying “something went wrong, try again later.” It will find it under the find my trip. Problem with that is you have to keep typing it back in to find it. Just a waste of an app! And again, the website isn’t that much better. Finnair, do better. Makes no sense at all in this day an age of available tech for you to be this terrible with your online and app options for your airline! SMH…

Needs more work. Logon is terrible - can’t remember my user name. Every other time have to change the password. Won’t let me buy seats….very clumsy. Just a terrible experience.
Can’t add membership card to Apple wallet
Sometimes when they travel overseas, the airport, Wi-Fi is not stable and there is no international roaming data on my phone so it’s very inconvenient to log into the app to show the staff my membership card. If the membership card can be added to Apple wallet, it’s more convenient because I can show it to the staff off-line

Nowadays most major airlines offer their frequent flyer members to add the tier status card to the apple wallet. That is something which should be possible, to show & add the Finnair Plus card.
Does not update
Sometimes it stops updating and there is nothing you can do via the app to force a flight info refresh. The app becomes useless when in this state.
Upcoming is not upcoming?
Various past bookings, (manually entered using PNR) are showing in “upcoming flights”…

Eine der besten Airline Apps auf den Markt. Bin Mega zufrieden und kann für mein nutzen 4,5* geben,leider gibt es nur 4*. Natürlich gibt es 1-2-3 MANKOS, 1. Mann muss Mitglied bei Finnair Plus sein(bin ich:-) 2. es sollte doch möglich sein wenn man ein gebuchtes Finnair Ticket hat, mit nicht OW Mitglieder den Online Check-In zu gestatten über die App, das liegt aber wohl an den verschieden Schnittstellen der nicht OW Airlines. 3. Wäre es auch für Gäste toll die nicht Finnair Plus Member sind die App im vollen Umfang zu nutzen, natürlich kann man sagen diese kriegen eine Mail und können das Ticket in der Apple Wallet App speichern,stimmt auch, aber als Ansporn wäre das doch was. Bei mir überliegt ganz klar die positiven Aspekte, diese jetzt aufzuzählen wäre zu lange, wie so oft im Leben fallen einem die negativen eher ins Auge. Darum liebe App Entwickler macht weiter so Hammer App, aber nimmt euch die kleinen negativen Anmerkungen an und Arbeit für ein zukünftiges Updates daran.
Terrible app
This app is terrible. It doesn’t update regularly and often has wrong information. If you are a group traveling you cannot see the information for other travelers which is crazy if you are traveling with kids who don’t have a phone. Maybe 5 years ago this was acceptable but today apps should have pull to refresh and should at lease work as well as Google. I found searching my flight number in Google was more accurate.
Works but UX not great
Phone is not the greatest devise to check-in. At the end of the check-in process your should be able to see the details you entered just to double check and make sure no mistakes were made.
Affordable luxury
My wife, a close friend and I recently travelled to Helsinki from New York and eventually to Thailand. As always a great experience all throughout, the food, the smooth & timely landing, all luggage in tact and received. Once again.. Well done! It can’t be all luck, you all are doing something right. Thank you and looking forward to another journey with Finnair. 😊😊😊
A completely useless app
The app does not show updated flight information or allow you to check in for flights. I’m confused what exactly the app is even used for? I had to use a web browser to check in for my flight and had to rely on third party websites to confirm the status of my flights. The Finnair app is utterly useless.

Great info but rubbish at sharing
Downloaded for our trip to Finland. As lead passenger of a group I had the boarding passes. App was unable to share for an iPhone either through messages or airdrop or the sharing function on the iPhone.

I always look forward to traveling on Finnair, however the app is so counterintuitive & cumbersome, sections get blocked out, it thinks I’m 3 people all occupying the same seat. Let your travel agent do it

Bad
Cannot get my boarding pass via the app but I can’t when I log in via mobile web or computer?! What’s the point of an app? Also never saves my personal info. Somehow boarding pass did not have TSA pre check even though I always about in my KTN and have flown with airline multiple times.

I got this app in hope that I could add my Finnair Plus card to my Apple Wallet, but I can't. This is completely dumb that you can't do that. Every airline app that I have encountered have that feature (Excluding Qantas). This feature needs to be added soon.
Average App
App does not offer Oneworld RTW planning. Limited info/facilities. I use it to track mileage accumulation.
Zero world - no communication for codeshares
Codeshare communication is so poor that the app is essentially non-functional. Book on American and you risk not being able to check in. No seat selection / payment options, no cross app communication. The APIs are so broken you can’t even add your trip until check-in time if you booked through American.

Brilliant Airline App
As airline apps go this is one of the better ones I have seen. Gives you a complete break down of your flights, what luggage you can take and weights, transfer and passport control info even terminal maps and info. Just hoping check in is as easy as it says now :)
Kafka-esque
Worst airline app I have used. Check-in is almost impossible and then once I have checked in, the boarding passes are nowhere to be seen. Chat not helpful either. No way to get a boarding pass issued to my Apple wallet. I have flown several times before with FinnAir and don’t recall it being so hard to check in so something must have changed.
At least Online Check-In now works ...
... even without being a Finnair Plus member. But the App is pretty useless if you are using a different oneworld program.

I’m so very pleased with this app! I rarely write reviews, but this app was so good that I wanted to write about it. Everything is very intuitive and user friendly. I wish more airlines would have something similar. Well done, Finnair! 👏

App doesn’t flights booked for friends and family, making it useless unless I’m flying.
Bättre och bättre
Det började inte så bra, men appen har blivit betydligt bättre den senaste tiden. Stabilare, snabbare pålitligare. Nya funktioner, som konto info, har lagts till. Nu saknas bara ett par av funktionerna från webben för att göra appen riktigt användbar.
Weird averaging
When I scroll thru, I get about 6 4 star reviews or better, and then a couple 3 stars and then a bunch of 1 star reviews. THAT’S A BUNCH of one star reviews, but yet the average comes out 4.3? Is this new math or something? This app does more to make you feel things are going wrong than things are going right. Checkin seems like a backward, forward chain of failures. Gives Finnair a very amateurish appearance. I’m sure their aircrews love getting negatively prejudiced passengers because of this app when their inflight service is very much the opposite.
