Eerie and mysterious
I had a really great time playing this game. It has a very eerie atmosphere with a great complimentary soundtrack. I actually quite like the simplistic movement system, as it gives off sort of an uncanny feeling to the game like you’re not supposed to be there, like you’re in a literal nightmare. I would certainly love a PC version of this game, perhaps with updated graphics. This game is a real gem
Great game but losing all progress to a glitch is maddening
I lost many ours of of crafting, building and exploring to a glitch. So promising yet so disappointing.
Support help pls
I just bought this game two days ago – and I really wanna play. Unfortunately, when I go to open the app, it immediately closes. I have no way of reaching support because when I use the app support button at the bottom of the game page on the App Store, the link is either broken or there is no page:( Hopefully, I can get some help as I really would love to play and I did spend the money for it as well.
I hope the official can fix this bug.

I’ve played this game for years. I’m glad developers are still bothering to update. I didn’t think it needed much. Now the maps are sometimes tiny, you can get stalled/bit by crocs in a canoe, digging for chests is buggy. Please fix it. This game was good!
Great Game But……
Hey guys, you’ve been around forever and I love your game and I actually love the upgrades but there’s just one small problem. I cannot operate the hang glider. Once you doned the glider, you cannot move. Please fix it and thank you for always being responsive.
Crashed and took all my items
Fun game but 2/3 way through it crashed and took away all items and upgrades. For a paid game this is unacceptable.

The invisible tower
I have this glitch where i just finished destroying a tower, then the next tower that im supposed to go and destroy is already gone, so now im just stuck with the decision to either restart my entire 6 hours I’ve spent on this world and do nothing else with it and not be able to progress forword in the game, or restart from the beginning because of somthing out of my control

Every thing disappears!!! Home build and everything disappears, all the progress!!! Please fix! Love the game!!! But it doesn’t make sense to play anymore if everything gets lost! Unable to control glider, have to switch to custom hi.

I spent a year getting so much stuff I had EVERYTHING and then I find a metallic bed I press on it AND MY GAME CRASHES AND WHEN I COME BACK I LOST ALL OF MY STUFF THAT I SPENT A YEAR ON GETTING! I’m so mad!!
Latest update is glitchy but promising
I really enjoyed playing Radiation Island for the past few years. It’s a really immersive experience and lots of fun. Recently there was a compatibility update; the first update in many years. It’s quite the graphical overhaul: stones now have moss on them, torches have a more natural glow, fog looks better, the stars are brighter at night and they finally added rain and thunderstorms (with actual thunder!) I can’t wait to see what else has been added. That said, the update also glitches the game in a few ways: sometimes the map symbols become really tiny, the top left slot in the backpack keeps glowing, it’s clunkier to open boxes, if you have a shovel in your hand and you open the journal you automatically dig the ground, and the colors seem a bit desaturated somehow. The devs have been fixing the bugs with each new update so I’m hoping the game will look and play fabulously by the time they’ve fixed everything.
They fixed the bugs and improved the graphics.
Thunderstorms now work in this version. This is probably the best version of the game right now in terms of being bug free. I like this game way more than any person should but this world never gets old. Thank you! P.S. Maybe it’s just like this now but the older version of the game used to zoom in when you held down the old rifles fire button. Made it like a sniper rifle. That doesn’t work anymore on this version or on PC. In any case appreciate the updates.
This hurt my feelings.
This game was totally awesome. Like for a $3 mobile game, it was top tear. Until I got about 30 chests worth of stuff, like I’m talking armor, food, weapons, tools, and a bunch of rare stuff you can’t even craft. I built a huge house on the top of a hill ON THE THIRD ISLAND and suddenly the game crashes and all of my progress just disappeared. Everything. The biggest pack you could have, everything. I spent countless hours on this game for nothing. Developers fix this plz!!!
Lost years of supplies
I have been playing this games for years. Exploring, crafting, building and fighting my way around . Gathering supplies and storing them in boxes you can craft from wood. This first game is clearly the best open and explore with an over arching goal. However, even after you finish, you can still play. The second game became more about fallowing clues around while killing Zombies until you finish the game. The third game was about fallowing clues and solving traps. The second and third app games lost the importance of crafting, building and exploring. Now, all my crafted and harvested items have disappeared because of some glitch. I assume the developers are killing their own game out of boredom or because I am the last one playing it. Too bad, it was really fun.
Nice if it worked
This would be a great game without all the glitches. As it is, it’s nearly unplayable and certainly frustrating at the least; crashes where all progress is lost, trapped in scenery, etc. It’s not worth paying for and after seeing all the other similar reviews I assume that the makers don’t really care enough about their product to fix it.

Well this game is good I like the style and crafting but makes no sense why the clothing has a time duration another I know it has controller support but needs to have customizable settings for it cause mostly playing the game with controller is kinda horrible cause not all buttons have input to it so you have to go back and forth between touching screen and controller torch is a little to much on the deteriorating rate so it’s kinda like hey have a torch wait that didn’t last long kinda like most of the items on here have low rate but fast deterioration on it kinda wanted to touch on that but all in all it’s a good game just needs controller settings on it to be able to make it work with it better

Day and night cycle
My day and night cycle is broken it goes from darkness to daylight and back and forth all the time it’s starting to get annoying this game needs a update for iOS 14

Love this game I would give it a 5 but the game is very buggy you jump randomly and you also rotate randomly if your going one deroection it take you to another direction so maybe fix the bugs in the game and I will give it a 5 the jump button

good but...
I've been enjoying this game for a month. This is the fourth time that I LOST EVERYTHING IN MY CHESTS. Every single items stored in my chests in all the huts are just gone. The app suddenly stops and then home screen. When I re-open the app, nothing in my chest...... It seriously needs an update!!!!!
Suggestion if you still update this tame
So how about a creative mode where you can toggle having either no hostile creatures attacking you or all hostile creatures attack you? Along with infinite crafting

This is a good game, I really enjoy playing this, but one problem is this game didn’t do full screen on iPad Pro 2020
Could be much better
This game is awesome, the environment is immersive and beautiful, but the crafting is extremely limited and the crafting to build houses is broken, spent hours creating a large house only to accidentally remove one of the upper floors and not being able to install it again unless I took everything down, this game needs serious improvements and additions to the crafting system.
Frustrating
This is similar to other survival games out there, but it should not in any way be as frustrating as it is to build a house!! Fix this!! I was enjoying the game up until I started to build. Floors refuse to line up, floating roofs and floors that you can’t retrieve, walls refuse to go where you want them, spaces between rooms that you can’t fix. That made me want to quit this game. How can you release it like that without fixing that and making it easier to build a simple base camp?! Wow.
Game Still Amazing
Played the game on and off for a couple years. Started a new play through this year, and finally beat it. The disappearing loot glitch has been fixed, just don't store things in chests you didn't craft. The story, and particularly the ending, are a little lackluster- but still have some good elements of intrigue. My two complaints would be: first, i wish the crafted foundations and walls would come together better, this was never patched. Some large gaps remain. My second complaint would be, i wish there was more replayability once the game has been completed, something one could work towards. I know the developer says the game won't be updated anymore as it is not feasible, and that's a shame. All in all, however, the game still stands as a solid and enjoyable experience, and i have purchased the second game in the series to continue my adventure.

I used to LOVE playing this game but then one day I was playing radiation island and boom it logged me out of the game and I thought oh it’s a little malfunction, and once I log into the game I lost all my stuff, I lost all my things and my backpack upgrades, EVERYTHING. I was basically back to a beginner. Please fix this

I think the game is great but every time I finish an island and build up my equipment to move to the next island it crashes and I lose everything and have to start from scratch all over again

So I just bought the game and it was very good but when I got to the 3 island it glitched and took everything away. I got mad and I haven’t played since.

Don’t get this game
This game is a rip off. They like to glitch you out of the game and then take away all of your stuff. All of my chests, all of my items, just gone. They even took my items in my hut along with all the chests they were in.
New features
I used to love this game and was addicted to it but after i got stacked it got boring i saw it hasn’t been updated In 2 years i hope the games not dead and would love a new update that adds new items or structures or buildables to the game.

I was enjoying this game have been playing for weeks now so as you my imagine my inventory was well stocked my rucksack was on the 4th level I had set up a furnace and fairly central safe house lo and behold this morning having just captured my first wolf in a trap bang all gone everything. Most annoying, it took a lot of hard work and time to get to the point I was at. 2 stars frankly is 2 too many but the game was enjoyable up to the point it took everything away. Now it’s been uninstalled I will reinstall and see what happens. Fix this glitch guys people have been pointing it out for long enough for you to have it sorted.

Love this game!
This game is beautiful! I can play it for a long time without becoming bored. I love how easy it is to find and craft materials. I’m also guilty of watching a very realistic sunset. The sea itself is also beautiful and relaxing, strangely enough. Even though the setting is rather atomic. The one thing that really bothers me is the fact that I keep accidentally harvesting my buildings or stuff I have created from materials. If there was some way that you could lock your crafted buildings or other crafted objects, stopping from accidentally harvesting your built crafts, that would be awesome. Apart from that, absolutely love this game!

I bought this, reading majority of the reviews, watching the video for this app, reading the description over and over again, so I was really excited as it was brought up to be a fantastic game. I guess I was kind of let down by my first 10 mins of gameplay. All I could do really was move around and kill animals. There may have been something I was missing, like a story line or a task I was supposed to do but I got extremely bored really quickly. By reading other reviews, people have been able to play this game for hours so I’ll make sure to keep playing for a bit and see if the game gets more interesting. But I think that the small cutscene at the start was cool, earning it 3 stars.

Top quality graphics, but...
It is a beautiful game, graphically, with three distinct modes of play, and no money grabbing IAP's. The problems are buildings with absolutely nothing in them, and therefore no purpose, plus saves that do not always restore to an exact point. But for the price, this is a great buy. Nic
Shame about the bug
I got this game a few days ago - I’m not usually into survival games (I got ‘Don’t Starve’ before, found it quite dull) but this is totally different and SEEMS really good fun. It’s quite exciting and gathering, finding, crafting equipment is really rewarding. The storyline is also interesting, I still don’t know what’s going on! Anyway, the bad part. As other users have posted, the game crashes randomly for no particular reason. Each time this happens, it resets from scratch. The first time this happened to me, it was after a couple of hours of play...no big deal...so I just deleted it and reinstalled hoping this would fix the problem....nope....it did it again last night after hours and days of play. I lost everything. Really, really frustrating. I’m now just going to play through on invincible mode to see what the story is and then delete it. It’s a shame. I won’t recommend this game; players can’t be expected to lose all their progress, it’s not acceptable.

The game has been slow since the release of iOS 10. It is stuttering and barely playable at times. Please fix.
