What they complain about

- Videos lag and crash frequently on school Wi-Fi

Diss for speaksforpeople3 or smth like that
I honestly don’t understand that one review saying that edpuzzle has eye problems, or even physical consequences. I don’t think edpuzzle is bad for us, and the fact that the person called the peoplespeaker or something like that says that screen time affects us, it’s not like students are on edpuzzle for 8+ hours like most kids are on social media. Basically I say that the first review that shows up here is absolutely incorrect and in fact does NOT speak for the people. Hehe little pun there hope u laughed.

Edpuzzle is one of the most frustrating school apps because it takes something that should be simple and makes it unnecessarily complicated. The main purpose of the app is to let teachers give students videos with questions throughout them. While that might sound helpful, it can make watching a normal educational video feel like another long assignment. Instead of just paying attention to the information, students have to constantly think about the next question and worry about completing every part correctly. One of the biggest problems with Edpuzzle is how often the videos get interrupted. Just when you start understanding what the person in the video is saying, a question can suddenly appear and stop everything. Sometimes the interruption happens right when someone is explaining something important. This makes it harder to stay focused because you have to switch your attention from listening to the video to figuring out what answer the teacher wants. The constant questions can also make students focus more on finishing the assignment than actually learning. While watching a video, you might find yourself wondering when the next question is going to appear instead of paying attention to the lesson. This can be especially annoying when the video is actually interesting. Instead of being able to follow the explanation from beginning to end, you have to keep stopping and starting. Another problem is that Edpuzzle can make short videos feel much longer than they actually are. A video that is only ten minutes long can take significantly longer when there are multiple questions stopping you throughout it. If you have several videos assigned, all those extra interruptions can add up quickly. Students already have homework from other classes, so having one short video turn into a much longer assignment can be frustrating. Edpuzzle assignments can also become extremely repetitive. The process is usually the same: watch the video, get stopped by a question, answer it, continue watching, and repeat. Doing this over and over can become boring, especially if there are multiple videos about topics that students are not interested in. After a while, it can feel like the main goal is just to finish the assignment instead of actually understanding the subject. Another issue is that Edpuzzle can sometimes make students worry more about their answers than the lesson itself. When you know a question is coming, you might spend the entire video trying to remember every little detail because you are worried it will be part of the next question. This can make learning feel stressful instead of natural. Students should be able to focus on understanding the main ideas without constantly worrying about being tested. Edpuzzle is not necessarily a completely terrible idea. Teachers do need ways to make sure students are paying attention and understanding their lessons. The problem is the way the app handles it. There are other ways to check whether students learned something without interrupting a video every few minutes. For example, students could watch the entire video first and then answer questions afterward. The app could also give students more freedom while watching. Being able to pause, rewind, and watch the video normally would make the experience much less frustrating. Teachers could still receive information about whether students completed the assignment without making the entire video feel like a test. Small changes like these could make Edpuzzle much more enjoyable. Overall, Edpuzzle has a decent idea behind it, but the way it is designed can make schoolwork more frustrating than it needs to be. The constant interruptions, repetitive questions, longer assignments, and pressure to remember every detail can take away from the actual learning experience. Edpuzzle could be a much better app if it focused more on helping students understand the lesson and less on constantly stopping them to prove they are watching. For now, it is an app that many students would probably be happy to use less often.
uh i like school
ima school enthusiast and this is reallly good for me to do homework :)
This app fails as an educational platform
Edpuzzle is a platform designed to make learning through videos more interactive by embedding questions and tracking student progress. While its intentions are educationally sound, its actual execution often leads to frustration, inefficiency, and disengagement. Despite being widely used in classrooms, Edpuzzle ultimately fails to provide a positive learning experience for students. One of the main problems with Edpuzzle is its lack of user flexibility. The app forces students to watch entire videos without the ability to skip, rewind, or control playback speed. This rigid structure prevents learners from reviewing difficult sections or skipping content they already understand. In an era where personalized learning is valued, Edpuzzle’s one-size-fits-all format feels outdated and restrictive. Rather than encouraging independence, it enforces a passive and frustrating experience. Another significant issue is the platform’s technical instability. Many users report that Edpuzzle frequently buffers, crashes, or lags—especially on school Wi-Fi networks or older devices. Because students are unable to fast-forward or reload easily, even minor glitches can cause major setbacks. This not only wastes valuable class time but also creates unnecessary stress for both students and teachers trying to complete assignments. A learning app should streamline education, not slow it down. Additionally, Edpuzzle often reduces genuine engagement instead of fostering it. While the app’s embedded questions are meant to maintain attention, they often disrupt the natural flow of the lesson. Students are forced to pause repeatedly, breaking concentration and turning what could be an engaging video into a tedious, stop-and-start task. The experience becomes more about compliance than comprehension, which goes against the purpose of interactive learning. In conclusion, Edpuzzle’s concept of blending video learning with assessment is admirable in theory but deeply flawed in practice. Its restrictive controls, technical problems, and disruptive format make it an ineffective and discouraging tool for students. For technology to truly enhance education, it must adapt to learners’ needs, not limit them. Until Edpuzzle addresses these fundamental issues, it will remain one of the least effective educational apps in use today.
Erm
what’s wrong with the weird reviews
Very easy to use
It’s good for remembering things
Bru this skibidi doodoo
I download this app and then as soon as I started the video I was time teleported to the creation of earth and as the video played earth aged in real time and the dinosaurs were really cool and by the time the video ended earth was already held captive by chat gpt and then the world was the same again and I blew up my phone with a bazooka.
really want a 2X speed function
playback speed adjusting while watching videos would surely be convenient, to maximize time efficiency
I like boys
I like boys (story time) so I woke up one day and realized I wanted to kiss a man
Very bad
It’s so laggy but it’s ok
Super application!
Des capsules interactives faciles à créer.
This app sucks
If i could give this app 0 stars i would. I saw that a bunch of reviews said it was glitchy or laggy, but thought “it can’t be that bad right”. I downloaded this to do an assignment for school but this app literally wont let me sign in. When i click to sign in there is no keyboard to type. Ive tried 5 times. Then if i try to click the refresh button to refresh it just freezes. At this point i give up and will be deleting this app after i finish this review. Why do schools even use edpuzzle when everyone literally hate it?

Long ago , I had a pet rock it would bark when everyone came over but then one day when I was walking my pet fish Jeremy something bad happened… , M-My pet rock has passed out I tired waking Bob my pet rock b-but he didn’t move an inch or cm … ,I tried calling the vets where I got him they said to me… , “ my name it sometimes will happened we only have one life and that’s that “ , I’m getting déjà vu 😱 right now while I’m typing this , Bob was like my bestie no… he was more than that he was like my toenails to my hands 😖 … I still missed him till this day but then something else happened that I didn’t mention! , I saw a note say “ I know how jimmy died “ … who the hell is Jimmy ..? I said To my self I later kept reading , then it said this for the last words “ what is nineteen in French “ I thought that was a goofy question but then , I remember that it said whoever wrote the note will tell who Jimmy died but I don’t know who the goofy hell is he … so I decided to help whoever jimmy was and answered “ the answer is dix-neuf “ I yelled …. I heard a strange voice that song familiar I said to myself “ why does that sou- “ THEN SUDDENLY I S-SAW FRENCH DORA SAYING OUI OUI … DIX-NUEF IN YO MOUTH … Then she disappeared out of nowhere . Now I’m still wondering who the hell is Jimmy …
Notifications needed
Everything is good except that there are no notifications. I tend to miss some assignments because of that, and some of my teachers are very strict when it comes to missing assignments. I need a notification feature to tell me when a teacher has uploaded something.
I love this
I use this for school and it helps
Unnecessary app
I don’t like how we aren’t allowed to watch ed puzzles from the app. What’s the point of having an app for it then.
.
쌤들이 자꾸 이걸로 수업하는데 맨날 핸드폰으로도 오류나고 아이패드도 안 됨 이거 없으면 영상 못듣는데
Complainers
This is a good educational game. The other dumb children wouldn’t appreciate this. Like the ridiculous reviews about “someone’s turtle dying from looking at Edpuzzle” and a completely UNRELATED review about someone losing their girlfriend. Oh, and the reviews about too much battery this game uses, and the others about bad color. Great game. 10/10
no
clearly you’re here for an alternate agenda why would u wanna be here to provoke me like this
Like come on
In some videos that teachers assighn the ask u questions randomly I miss clicked the submit button but I wasn’t done with the answer and I can’t rewrite it. I hope u fix that pls! :)
Great
Super Easy to use. Efficient. Students couldn’t cheat.
Why
What’s the point of it if it’s just gonna take me to the website when I select a lesson? I got the app so I didn’t have to use the website but it’s forcing me into it.
Please read
For all students who are encouraged to use this app, it is alright, but not brilliant. The user interface isn’t that great, however the feature of interjecting questions within a video is clever.
My students love it
Wasn’t sure they would but my students loved it! Great way to make them actively watch a video.
please delete app
i do not appreciate the existence of this app. it scares me, my teacher keep assigning work with this app. i hate you, and him. please help
Crappy
Bad
Best app ever
Change my life
no point in downloading
They send you to Google to complete the videos anyway, there’s no point in using this app, just go directly to Google and login
Student and teacher version app
I appreciate the idea and effort of making the YouTube video for an education purpose. For which I tried using Edpuzzle a few months ago, and the students responses were positive, since then I was longer to use the iPad to access my Edpuzzle account, but the app wasn’t here yet...
Promising !
I introduced it to one of my classes today. They were looking forward to watch the video I set! :) I rated the app with 5 stars because I really believe it has potential and to encourage the team. You guys are doing a brilliant job. Thank you! P.S I am a maths teacher %+=-
Useless App
I personally love the program so I downloaded the app, expecting for an update. It only turned out pointless. Why create a whole app when it just directs you back to the website??
No teacher app?
When will a teacher app be available? I used to assign Edpuzzles to my students using Chrome or Safari on iPhone, but after a recent update (on your side I guess), I can't do that any more! The screen sections just messed up!
!
Great
Don't work
although most reviews are students trying to get the app removed, this app actually blows. First off, you can't use it. Period. Log in, "exciting class" bs then it takes you back where you started. A browser opens to log in AGAIN, still nothing. Fix the app or get rid of it cuz ts don't work
