What they complain about

BI Resident
Use it every day to hold my ticket, check on status and follow location of ferries.
The update sucks
I regret updating this app. The update is very visually busy and difficult to navigate. I'm trying to figure out how to revert it to a previous version. I commute by ferry most days and have used this app for 2 years for ferry alerts, vessel mapping, and reservations. It used to be really useful! If I can't figure out a way to revert the update I'm just gonna delete it and use the wsdot app instead, which is clunky but is better than this.
Worked like a charm!
Used it to go Edmonds - Kingston for the day. Lots of good info provided!! Will use again 💗
Best ferry information
This app is far above and beyond the WSF information that one can find. Accurate and timely. If you have to take a ferry in WA state you need this app.
Point defiance
Always late, short on staff
A must have!
Thank you for helping me get myself, residents & guest to and from Lopez! Literally it’s a joy to use your app!
Another developer who needs to learn to budget
This app is not complicated or elaborate. It’s not fun to use, or pleasant to look at. It was not a feat of engineering to make. But it had one job, which was to marginally improve the formatting of some publicly available information. And it was ok at it. In return, its developer was granted a lifestyle of freedom and opulence that few can dream of. But as always, it wasn’t enough. Inspired, perhaps, by rent seeking everywhere, the author of this short work decided that for the privilege of using bookmarks, you should now pay him $3/month to exist. I’d rather use a WSDOT website. Which is saying something.
What did you do without this app??
This is a great app. The predictions on car volumes for future sailing is incredibly helpful. And the ability to see how many rides are remaining on the multi-ride tickets is huge!
Doesn’t reflect cancellations
The ferry was cancelled due to mechanical issues and they didn’t even reflect it in the app even though it was an all day thing. Seems like a very simple thing to do
Must have
This is a gotta have it kinda app if you use WSDOT ferries at all. Super user-friendly and easy to navigate. I recommend to all
Losing features to subscription model.
I liked the app but features are being put behind a subscription paywall. I think ad revenue was a better choice with a paid “pro” option instead of a plea for money subscription model.
The app you NEED for WA Ferry travel!
The best. Love it! Highly recommended. Affordable.
Feature regression
Favoriting a route is now a paid feature. I understand the need to monetize the app for development, but it would've made sense to introduce new features for the upsell, instead of removing basic functionality to force upgrades. The latest update gives a bad customer experience and undermines trust.
Brilliant
A++++ for this app. I’ve ridden Wa. State Ferries for 50 years and along the way everything has gotten more and more complicated. Everything, I mean EVERYTHING, you need is on this app (schedules, alerts, allotments, availability, real time maps, direct link to reservations, and more) and it’s so easy to navigate. I think it was designed by someone who knows what they’re doing.
Love this App
A must if you are a regular ferry user. Easy to use. Keep la track of your multi ride ticket usage.
I love this app
I just downloaded this app a few days ago because I HATE the WSDOT app and cannot read the ferry schedules they are so unnecessarily confusing. This app SAVED ME! I love everything about this app. The schedules are easy to read, the predictions and wonderful, and I love the ease of everything. I willingly will be supporting this app because it is so wonderful(: ⛴️🦦
What a great, easy-to-use app!
This app is sooo helpful! It’s easy to navigate and has a pleasing, understandable interface. I just moved to Vashon Island and have used it about a dozen times this week.
