Works well but I'm concerned about the future. The app has not been updated for a year and website completely neglected (grib info several years out of date, hydrografica availability muddled). Zero communication about current events such as Swedish charts snufu. Has the team gone away after the Raymarine deal?
Relativt bra
Fungerar bra, dock är vissa extremt grundläggande funktioner tex. mäta avstånd på kartan blockerade för 95kr-versionen tyvärr.
Sökfunktionen fungerar ej
Kartsök fungerar ej för mig på min iPad efter sista uppdateringen.
AIS
Det är en av de bättre AIS som vänder sig till båtar. De använder sig av sjöfartsverkets data och bilden ser ut som ett riktigt sjökort. Det är lätt att lägga ut leder som man tänker gå. Det som fattas för att se hur man gör en gir vilket fartyg har stor nytta av. Tex om ett stort fartyg gör en sväng med en radie på0,5 nautiska mil så kan båtar se hur fartyget girar. Det är den enda missen som kanske kunde läggas in.
Maps missing
Says US map is free but only shows details 25 miles offshore.No details close to shore.

Jag tycker om enkelheten med appen men premiumabonnemang är alldeles för dyrt mtp att konkurrent tar 299 kr.
Sök gör att appen kraschar
En väldigt bra app för att navigera. Men söker man på sjökort eller ais kraschar appen.
Molnlagring
Skulle vilja att all användardata så som rutter, waypoints och favoritmarkerade AIS-mål sparades i molnet och synkades mellan alla enheter. Annars är det toppbetyg. :)
Terrible app for boating
Installed app on my ipad and iphone and way too much unreadable data when looking for a location. Scrolling in works better.
Bra funktion
Dock låser sig sidan ibland i iPhone 8 plus. Hopplöst få veta hur man betalar för nästa år.
Inloggningen saknar stöd för inklistring (från lösenordshanterare)
Går inte klistra in användarnamn och lösenord. Använder man en lösenordshanterare vill man inte skriva in sitt 25 tecken långa slumpvis genererade lösenord. Varför har ni stängt av klistra in funktionen i inloggningen.
Inga sjökort för sjöar
Bra sjökort om du ska ut på haven, men om du som jag bor vid en sjö så finns inga kartor tyvärr.

Så här ska ett sjökort se ut för säker navigering. Utseende och symboler enligt yrkessjöfartens standard.
Unusable
Update. Tried to use it again. Still, paste is disabled on login, and also the login dialog resets when the app loses focus. In other words, unnecessarily annoying and unusable if you have a password manager. Fixing this would be less than 1 day for a dev, so why they keep having this off-putting behavior is puzzling. It’s not hard to do this right. The UX is a complete mystery to me. Have they never even opened the app on a newer device? Black text on dark grey background?! Removed paste from login?! But why?! Lacks all but the most basic features once you get it running. I wish this was better, I really do, but it is not.

Men buggar vid upplägg till Facebook. Men annars enkel och bra reserv till plottern.
Kantiga landbilder och inga namn utskrivna
Plötsligt förra sommaren blev min Seapilot oanvändbar står inga namn på varken land eller vatten och kartbilderna alldeles kantiga, går inte att navigera efter. Har betalt 95kr abonnemang. Vågar inte uppdatera till 419kr om det fortsatt är kantiga bilder.

Superb charts
Absolute excellent charts. As professional Mariner I hold Seapilot as the prime nav-app. Intuitive and fast. The drag and drop method for creating routes is brilliant. Bravo Seapilot!
AIS slutat funka…utomlands
Efter en dag i Palma (Mallorca) slutade AIS funka lokalt. Från att ha funkat perfekt första dagen. Dessutom kraschar appen om jag söker på en inlagd Favorit.
Tolle App mit mehr Detailbedarf
Tolle App - besonders die Möglichkeit, die Bezugsquelle der AIS-Daten selbst zu definieren. Was mir fehlt: 1.: ETA-Daten der Schiffe (nächster Hafen sowie vom Schiff angegebenes ETA) 2.: Die "Güte" der angezeigten Daten (wie alt sind die AIS-Daten, die dargestellt werden) Alles Gute für die Anbieter - viele Grüsse...
Laddning
Betalat, uppdaterat appen och laddat synliga kort på våren. Helt plötsligt är det ”inte tillgängliga”. Får svar av supporten att jag ska återställa köp i appen – appen säger då ”köp är inte tillåtet i appen”. Det blir att åka med analoga i år. Hände för övrigt en morgon kl 07.10 på väg till Gotland. Skitkul. Sen på tur med barnen. Kortet laddas inte upp. Varesig nät finns eller ej. Nu upp till Supporten/seapilot att återställa förtroendet. Eller så åker appen ut. Sjukt dåligt att man tagit bort så många funktioner utan premium också. Synd på en i övrigt fungerade lösning som komplement till papperskort. Dock tydligen inte att räkna med.

När en rutt är aktiverad och man trycker på reverse, stängs appen. Irriterande
Great and Getting Better
I’ve been following SeaPilot from their beginnings and their connection to Raymarine my primary chart plotters and VHF, I gave it a try. The coastal charts around Florida are enough to get around on, the AIS responds quickly. Each update improves it even more. Diehard fan and hope to continue to see more growth and integration in the app. Awesome stuff thus far, looking forward to even more.
Useless
Downloaded the app and paid £17.00 for a chart. Unable to load or activate chart. Useless. Don’t waste your time and money. Update: I have now managed to activate the chart. It does not scale in and out well with far too much detail (e.g. soundings) completely cluttering the chart when zoomed out. (You can turn off deep water soundings but this does not solve the problem). As far as I can tell, you need to upgrade to ‘Premium’ if you want to access any significant functionality (e.g. even the basic features of any navigation software such as plotting routes). There does not appear to be any weather and tide data available beyond the ‘tidal diamond’ in-out information found on paper charts. I was really hoping for something better than the ‘other’ marine navigation app which frustrating as it is, remains far ahead of the free version of this. Update to update. I really want this to work as the other app which could be so good is so awful in places. Careful checking of the Seapilot website does say that additional features are available in the premium version. I’d be more inclined to pay if there was a free trial period. I’m a bit reluctant to put £40 down only to find that it’s not what I want.

Stupid payment model
I really dont like when I have to pay 95sek for the map and then 419 sek for creating routes. I will go back to Navionics+ where 350 sek includes both and a fantastic Sonarchart.
why the higher price for Denmark?
I’m wondering why 1 year subscription is much higher for Denmark compared to countries around Denmark?

Downloaded this app on my IPhone to have a backup. I like having redundant systems. Well today my Raymarine chart plotter took a dump. The Seapilot app helped me navigate flawlessly.
Couldn’t log in
Tried to use the facebook option to log in, which didn’t work and kept on reverting to the log in screen.
Möjaman
Borde vara tillåtet med två enheter på en licens. Bökigt att byta eftersom det krävs internet. Väder? Dyr.
Inget för flera enheter
Jätte bra app. Väder funkar ibland. Hur jobbigt som helst om du vill använda två enheter, och du måste ha internet tillgängligt för att byta. Hoppas detta med endast en enhet försvinner och att väder alltid fungerar någon dag i framtiden
Very good Chart Plotter
Have used Sea Pilot for a year now, ever since Garmin stopped supporting their iPhone plotter. Tried most of the other apps, and paid for several only to find that they were not adequate. Sea Pilot is very good. Charts are accurate and seamless. Very easy to plot a course and edit as needed easily. Thanks for a great product that was desperately needed.

Great App
This APP is really cool...received as a promotional gift at the Miami Boat Show. Downloaded the APP to my I phone and used it right away over on the gulf side...works great and you can set it up to show what you want to see or not. I feel this is a great way to backup your chart plotter just in case...
Forgot my Password
I forgot my password. There is no way, in the application, to request a reset. A new account can not be created because my eMail address is already in use. Maybe this review will get developer response.

Very helpful app. Only request would be to allow 'rotation' on the map with 2 fingers (like google maps).
Art
This app looks pretty decent until you find out that it cost $40 to access the AIS Internet data. They are other apps, maybe not as sophisticated, but are free.
