Supporting our SIT
Love Sandboxx the letters get to our grandson in a timely manner. We also signed him up for inspirational quotes. It makes supporting your Soldier In Training (SIT) easy and convenient. Definitely recommend it.
Return to sender
Bought the package and the return letters too. I heard from him in week 5 that his replies were returned to sender. Absolutely horrible
Love the letter writing option!
So good and easy to send pics. Was told it would be quick delivery, but it’s taken a week to be delivered. Labor Day holiday may have something to do with it. Anyway, grateful to have this simple way to write and send pics!!
Something is wrong with app
I haven’t been able to log in for two days. I have deleted the app several times. I have logged out and tried logging back in with no success. The app was working fine two days ago and was great. Idk what is going on now.

Amazing App!
Sandboxx saved my sanity with the weekly updates since I wasn’t hearing much from my soldier-to-be! Letter writing was so much easier and not very expensive.

I would like to know if someone get the memory book and how to do if can help me I tried many time through the app I couldn’t do it
BEWARE!!
It’s seems like such a great concept that families can easily reach their beloved troop with a digital letter and gift cards, BUT your troop won’t even receive your letter and they cannot even use the gift cards because the won’t work. This app is a ripoff and I’m heading over to the BBB for my money back. An envelope and forever stamp is cheaper than this mess and it will get to your troop without a doubt. I have six letters and 2 gift cards my son never received and I’m using the address provided by the DI.

App not working
Sounds like a great app except it won’t let you sign in or sign up. No active button for either.
No option for Canada?
My only problem with Sandboxx is that I can't put in my real Canadian address.
Change up after buying
I don’t like nor appreciate the fact that when I bought the package, it was stated that my letters would come with a letter, a picture and a pre-addressed envelope for my recruit to write back and all the sudden that pre-addressed envelope to write back is no longer included with it. Had I known that, I’d not have wasted my money. I shouldn’t have to pay extra for it when it was included in the package when I bought it.

Won’t work
I’m not trying to write a negative review. But I’ve tried multiple times now to install the app and sign up. It will not let me sign up for an account. I’ve uninstalled it multiple times. Still won’t work. I’ve even gone through the developer options to try and out a ticket it. But that’s not an option for what I’m going through. At this point I have given up on trying to sign up until I can get an actual developer to help me out. This is not meant to be a negative review. Just a way for me to reach out to get help from someone. Thank you
Loved Sanboxx!!
Sandboxx was easy , convenient & fast! I loved being able to send letters and pictures to my son while he was away at boot camp. It made staying connected so much easier, and knowing he could receive my letters quickly meant so much to myself and Im sure him as well! I would definitely recommend Sandboxx to other military families!

Easy to use and fast delivery. The only App you need when it comes to sending letters.
Account wiped clean
For some reason or the other my account was deleted. When I logged back into my account, my activities were deleted. No letters sent, no proof of my gift card purchase to my granddaughter. I used the same email address, sandbox sent me a link to sign in but, EVERYTHING was gone! It’s like I never made contact with my granddaughter. I will not make any more purchases until this is figured out and will send further letters through the mail. This is very unacceptable!
Must have app for information and communication
After being an Army Brat and Army Wife, I felt I was completely prepared for sending my son to Basic Training. However, I was surprised by the anxiety of not knowing what he was going through or when we would be able to speak to him. This app absolutely filled that void - the weekly updates from Sandboxx make it clear that they are knowledgeable about exactly what the soldiers are doing, and more importantly, why they are doing it. The app also creates a community of other families who are going through the same thing. The letter writing and delivery is fantastic - I love being able to write my SIT directly on my phone and upload some photos when I get a few minutes , and then have it delivered so quickly! Thank you Sandboxx for filling this void!
Meh
Convenient and all but they try to wring so much money out of you. They charge you for 6000 characters per letter BUT making a new paragraph costs 90 character. 10 paragraphs and you lose nearly 1/6 of your letter. Not cool.
Great source of communication
This has truly brought me peace and fast and quick moments to connect with my son this has truly been a help to both me and for him💖
Not worth the money!
Just use snail mail. Half the letters I sent got returned to sender because he graduated before he received them. I sent one a week before graduation telling him we were able to change our foreign travel plans and make it to his graduation…a pretty important letter, and he never received it! It got it returned to sender and I received it back a month later. Definitely not worth the outrageous price. Seems like the service pushes this app on new recruits (who don’t know any different) kinda questionable ethically.

Make sure you check address
One of the letters my daughter wrote was returned and updated the address in time for her friend to switch bases and be returned again. I sent a gift card and her friend never got the card, very frustrating when this is is supposed to be an easier system.
Love this
I remember writing and my letter travelling across the Pacific Ocean and across America to get to my serviceman. Now, she can get it tomorrow. It’s a beautiful thing being able to communicate.
Hard to manage the squad.
My husband has the squad set up. But I have to purchase my own letters and can use the squad. I tried signing in as him but the app default ed to me.
